Chara-Ani is releasing three new Kaiju Netsuke figures, Godzilla 2017 (Anime), Ghidorah 2001, and Varan. These deformed style figures are approx 2 1/2 inches tall and come with a collectible wooden storage box and name plate (w/ring to attach to a key chain). They retail for 10,800 yen (approx $95 US, yes expensive), they can be pre-ordered now from AmiAmi, and other retailers. They are scheduled for release in Dec 2017. (Note: prototypes are shown.)
Banpresto is having an online lottery for not one but three Yuji Sakai Godzilla '89 figures, Godzilla 1989, Godzilla 1989 Heat Ray Radiation Color Version, and Godzilla 1989 Monochrome Color Version. All three are the same sculpt with different color schemes, they are 20cm tall (approx 8 inches) and 30cm in length (approx 12 inches). The lottery starts Oct 26 and runs through Nov 26, with release March 2018. You can enter up to 5 times and it will retail for 6,500 yen (approx $57 US).

Medicom is releasing two exclusive Godzilla figures, the Godzilla Vinyl Wars TOHO Cinemas Theater Limited figure (above), and the Godzilla Vinyl Wars Canyon Crest Distribution Limited figure (below). Both exclusives, being released to celebrate Godzilla: Monster Planet, are based on Burning Godzilla and are molded in clear orange vinyl. The TOHO Cinemas version is 22cm tall (approx 8.5 inches) and will retail for 8,000 yen (approx $70 US). The Canyon Crest version is 36cm tall (approx 14 inches) and will retail for 18,056 yen (approx $159 US). Both will be distributed by Canyon Crest and released in Nov 2017.
Update: The TOHO Cinemas version will be sold at the TOHO theaters showing Godzilla: Monster Planet on Nov 17, there will be a couple of theaters that will have early showings before that will also sell the figure.
The Godzilla Store has announced a number of promo items for the grand opening of the Godzilla Store Tokyo, the first permanent physical store. There are three limited first come items as well as other items that can be purchased. The limited items include the Bandai Limited Edition Godzilla Store Movie Monsters Shin Godzilla figure (limited, 2,500 yen (?)), a Godzilla Store bag (to customers spending 3,000 yen or more), and two Godzilla posters (to customers spending 5,000 yen or more). Besides those items 5 other items will be for sale, a Godzilla Store t-shirt (3,000 yen), Godzilla Store mug (1,500 yen), Memorial Medal (1,500 yen), a Godzilla Store umbrella (2,000), and a clear file and postcard featuring to promo art (Koji Tajima Art) for the opening (450 and 190 yen). Sega has revealed their Godzilla: Monster Planet prize figure on the heels of the other prize items. This figure stands 12cm tall and 29cm in length (approx 5 inches tall and 11.5 in length), it does not seem to have any articulation. Like the other items this will be available in Nov 2017 and be in prize machines (in Japan). Note this figure is slightly smaller than the 6 inch Bandai figure.
Sega is releasing new prize items for Godzilla: Monster Planet, including plush toys and towels. There are two styles of plushes a large plush and three smaller ones. The large Godzilla is 49cm tall (approx 20 inches), the small ones, two styles of Godzilla and one Servum, are 15cm in size (approx 6 inches). The three smaller ones are packed together. There are also two styles of towels, both are 120cm X 60cm (approx 48 inches X 24 inches). All will be released in Nov 2017 in prize machines.
The Banpresto Godzilla: Monster Planet Lottery was announced back in July now all the lottery items have been revealed. They included a Godzilla vinyl figure, rubber strap characters, heads magnets, drink glasses, clear files, hand towels, and cushion. The lottery cost 620 yen and will be available at Lawson, Ministop, other convenience stores, bookstores, hobby shops, game centers, etc. in Japan. Pics below of the items, the is Nov 2017.
