 The Kaiyodo Online Store is releasing multiple commemorative items from Toho Wonder Festival, this includes the Toho Special Effects Wonder Festival Commemorative Item Vignette Bust Godzilla 1984 kit, and the Godzilla vs. Gigan Rex Godzilla figure kit. The bust is 13cm tall and 9cm deep, it is sculpted by Kouji Tajima, is 11 pieces, and retails for 15,000 yen. The figure is 25cm tall and 40cm deep, it is sculpted by Takuya Uenishi, is 60 pieces, and retails for 50,000 yen. Both are unpainted and unassembled, there are also other items available as well.

 Kaiyodo is releasing the Mega Sofvi Burning Godzilla and Godzilla 1962 figures, gigantic scale vinyl figures. Burning Godzilla stands 42cm tall, and 45cm in length, Godzilla 1962 stands 45cm tall, both are approx. $850. Burning Godzilla will be released Jan 2025, and Godzilla 1962 will be released Sept 2024, both can be pre-ordered from multiple retailers like BBTS.
 Kaiyodo is releasing (reissue) the Sci-Fi Monster Soft Vinyl Model Kit Collection Godzilla '54 60cm Version, this is a big figure/kit standing nearly two feet tall and nearly 32 inches in length (80cm). It has 41 pieces and comes unassembled and unpainted, it retails for 51,840 yen (approx $475 US). It can be pre-ordered now with release in June 2017. It is available from Hobby Search and other retailers.        Kaiyodo will be offering a limited Winter Wonder Festival Exclusive Shin Godzilla 4th Form Kit as well as showing off their 5th Form Prototype (possible figure or kit). The 4th form vinyl kit is 52cm tall (approx 20 inches) and limited to 360 pieces, it will retail for 60,000 yen (approx $532 US). The 5th form, basically his tail at the end of the film, will be shown (teaser pics above and bottom). More info on the 5th form as we get it. Both will be at the Evangelion Store booth at the show. Wonder Festival is Feb 19, 2017 at Makuhari Messe International Exhibition Hall.
  While there wasn't anything new here are a few pics from Kaiyodo's display at the Tokyo Comic Con including the massive nearly 100,000 yen ($880 US) Shin Godzilla.      Kaiyodo is releasing 4 Heisei series vinyl Godzilla kits part of their Sci-fi Moster series, they are Godzilla '89, '93, '94, and '95 (Burning)(top to bottom). This is the second group of kits being released all having been releasing in the past. They are unassembled kits 1/400 scale approx 8 inches tall. Each will retail for 6,900 yen (approx $67 US) and will be released in Dec 2016 from Hobby Search and other retailers.    |
