Erostika is releasing thre artist designs of a new Matango soft vinyl figure, the Erostika Artist Collaboration Matango Soft Vinyl Toys are design by Rockin' Jelly Bean, Naoya, and ​Katsuya Terada. Each has a unique coloring with Naoya's even having fur, all are 26.6cm tall with Naoya's retailing for 19,800 yen and the other two retailing for 22,000 yen each. These go on sale Oct 1st on the Erostika website (note there are some mature items on the site). There will be other items as well, prints, shirts, and more by the same artists (at bottom).

Good Smile is releasing the Jet Jaguar Plush from Godzilla: Singular Point, and it will be released as a lottery prize in Japan and from retailers elsewhere. The plush features a wire frame and magnets (in hands) for posing, it is approx. 30cm tall and 34cm wide, Japanese retail is 4,950 yen, US retail is $54.99. It can be pre-order now from select retailers like Diamond(US) with release scheduled for Dec 2021 (Japan)/Feb 2022 (US). (Note: Rodan was in a previous post here.)

Bullmark has announced their Autumn releases these include Monster Series Ghidorah Purple, Little Hedorah Aurora Color, King Zaurus III, Ultraman Jack with Mask, Ultraman Tiga Sky Type, Gomora Clear, and Sevenger. Ghidorah and Tiga are 24cm tall, Hedorah 15cm tall, Zaurus and Sevenger 21cm tall, Gomora 22cm tall, and Jack 28cm tall, they will retail between 6,500 yen to 10,350 yen. All can be pre-ordered from Bullmark with pre-orders ending the 30th of Sept.

X-Plus announced their new line of figures, Toho Maniacs, and now the figure figure is been announced, Matango. As we suspected these figures will be similar to the Bandai 5000 line being tagged figures. This figure stands 18cm tall and will retail for 5,500 yen, this figure is available for pre-order from Bandai and X-Plus as well, with release scheduled for March 2022.

Aoshima is releasing the Godzilla Vs. Evangelion Type 3 Ryu Eva Unit 2 Color Version Plastic Model from AmiAmi. This is basically the same kit previously released but in Unit 2 colors, it is a snap together model standing approx. 24cm tall once assembled, is fully articulated once assembled and retails for 14,850 yen. It can be ordered now from AmiAmi with release scheduled for June 2021.

CCP is releasing the Artistic Monsters Collection Hedorah Gloss Black Version figures (also known as the The First Black Version originally). There are three versions the Landing, Adult, and Smoke Stack (same sculpt as previous colored versions), all feature a gloss black color with red eyes that light up, they are 21cm, 26cm, and 19.5cm tall each respectively, they are limited to 50 each, and they retail for 9,000, 14,000, and 13,000 yen (tax included) respectively. They can be pre-ordered now on the CCP website, and will be released May/June 2022. 

X-Plus teased their DefoReal Godzilla Ultima figure as part of their Great Kaiju Summer Festival, not we have full details. This figure is 18cm in length, with the Ric featuring light up fins, the Ric will retail for 9,900 yen and the standard for 8,800 yen. It can be pre-ordered now from X-Plus (Ric), and other retailers (standard), with release scheduled for March 2022.

Tokyu Hands Shibuya store is having the Marusan Bullmark Soft Vinyl Fair a celebration of Marusan's 55th Anniversary of their first kaiju vinyl figure and Bullmark's 50th Anniversary of their first. They now have announced the Bullmark figures. Monster Series Hedorah Clear Blue, Monster Series Godzilla 50 Black Blue, Monster Series Mechagodzilla Aurora Color, and Ultraman 50 Silver. Hedorah and Mechagodzilla is 22cm tall, and retail for 7,700 yen each, Godzilla is 23cm tall and retails for 9,900 yen, and Ultraman is 25cm tall, and retails for 8,250. Toho International, Inc. and Stern Pinball Announce New Godzilla Pinball Machines

CHICAGO, IL – September 14, 2021 – Stern Pinball, Inc. and Toho International, Inc., the subsidiary of the Japanese entertainment studio Toho Co., Ltd, announce a new line of pinball machines based on the iconic Toho film franchise featuring the King of the Monsters, Godzilla!  The Godzilla pinball machines are available in Pro, Premium, and Limited Edition (LE) models.    
 
Godzilla is the longest running film franchise created by Toho, with thirty-two films produced since 1954. The popularity of the films has made Godzilla one of the most recognizable symbols in pop culture worldwide. In addition to numerous accolades and cinematic awards for film, music, and special effects, the Godzilla film series and licensed characters have generated over $1 billion in merchandise sales around the world. 
 
In this monster-packed pinball adventure, players become Godzilla! The evil aliens, the Xiliens, use mind control rays to take control of the monsters King Ghidorah, Gigan, Megalon, Ebirah, and Titanosaurus. The Xiliens are demanding all of Earth’s resources. Godzilla and its allies, Mothra, Rodan, and Anguirus, battle the Xilien invasion with the goal of conquering Mechagodzilla to become King of the Monsters!
 
Chaos and destruction ensue on the playfield with Godzilla multiball, started by shooting one of the various shots in and through the centrally located skyscraper. In the Premium and LE models, a motor actuates the skyscraper, diverting balls through each of its five stories as it collapses, ultimately locking three balls on its roof. The Premium/LE playfield also features a collapsing bridge ramp. This animated breakaway ramp is guarded by a custom molded Godzilla and can divert pinballs back to the flipper or directly onto the playfield during Bridge Attack multiball.
 
On the Premium and LE models, Mechagodzilla features a motorized three-bank target set which rotates to reveal a spinner and jump ramp. Players will engage the Kaiju in battle by launching pinballs with the jump ramp and bashing the magnetic ball catch on its chest to start Mechagodzilla multiball.  
 
All models of Godzilla pinball machines feature an innovative “Magna Grab” magnetic newton ball, capable of catching pinballs from five different shot paths, including off the plunge. This device can also divert pinballs to set up shots from the upper left flipper. The game also includes the iconic title song “Godzilla” by Blue Oyster Cult, stunning hand-drawn artwork by Zombie Yeti, intricate wireform ramps, three spinning targets (Heat Ray, Mechagodzilla, and Monster Rampage), three flippers, three “powerline” themed stand-up targets and a UFO pop pumper. The game highlights video and audio from ten* Toho Showa Era Godzilla films to create a one-of-a-kind immersive Godzilla pinball experience.
 
Godzilla pinball machines also debut Stern’s Insider Connected system, which includes a QR code reader on the bottom arch that enables players to interact with the game and this new network in a variety of ways. Stern Insider Connected provides new entertainment and player engagement features and an operator focused tool set to drive location play and remotely manage every aspect of the machines. Insider Connected goes live with the launch of Godzilla, with the full scope of features scheduled for roll out over the next year.
 
Only 1,000 LE machines will be available. The LE version includes an exclusive full color mirrored backglass inspired by Mechagodzilla, iconic custom cabinet artwork, custom high gloss metallic silver powder-coated pinball armor, a custom designer autographed bottom arch, exclusive inside art blades, upgraded audio system, anti-reflection pinball playfield glass, shaker motor, a sequentially numbered plaque, and a Certificate of Authenticity.
