Marusan has announced their May releases which includes Godzilla 1967 Green Glitter, Mechagodzilla Dark Glitter, Hedorah Gold Glitter and Silver Glitter blank figures, King Joe Clear Yellow, Booska Snow White and two mini figures, and Mecha Giant Gorilla (Kong) Glow In The Dark. Godzilla is 24cm tall and retails for 10,800 yen, Mechagodzilla is 25cm tall and is also 10,800 yen. Both Hedorahs are 30cm tall and are 16,200 yen each. King Joe is 28cm tall and retails for 21,600 yen, Booska is 30cm tall, the mini figures are 6cm tall and they will retail for 16,200, and Giant Gorilla is 27cm tall and retails for 17,280 yen. All can be pre-ordered now with release in May 2019. Note some are available in Japan only, some internationally.

DeAgostini has announce a unique opportunity for Godzilla fans a "Make A Weekly Godzilla" kit, as the name implies each week there will be a magazine that will include select parts of the kit. The kit will be completed after 80 issues, and it is pretty elaborate, it has a remote controller, a framework/skeleton, and can move it's mouth, neck, arms, legs, and tail. It also features light up fins and mouth, and has sound and even music. The prototype was sculpted by Yuji Sakai, and the completed kit will stand 60cm tall (two feet, 1/87 scale), and it is 90cm in length. The first magazine has seven chapters Godzilla Chronicle, Godzilla major research, Godzilla great dissection of Nobuyuki Nishikawa, Godzilla and its time, Godzilla Trivia, Godzilla Gallery, and the Assembly guide, others should be similar, it also comes with a special edition DVD. Price for the first issue is 490 yen, with each issue afterwards retailing for 1,990 yen It will be available from bookstores it Japan starting now, and you can subscribe to the magazine as well from DeAgostini. Issue 15 of the magazine will also have a background that can be used with the kit, also there will be a binder to put all the magazines in as well. Diamond is releasing Godzilla Chibi figures from Bandai, the figures will come in two forms three different 2 packs and a 6 figure set (all the same figures). Check out the info below and pics. Godzilla 2002 is based on a model designed by Yuji Sakai, it stands 28cm tall, with the Ric featuring light up fins. It will retail for 28,620 yen and can be pre-ordered now with release scheduled for April 2019. Ghidorah features the original colors that have been seen in production stills, it stands 39cm tall with a wingspan of 66cm. It uses some of the molding from the '68 version. It will retail for 44,820 yen and can be pre-ordered from X-Plus, Bandai, and the Godzilla Store with release scheduled for May 2019. The regular version of this figure is also coming but was not up on the X-Plus site but was on Hobby Search, specs, price , and release date are the same and is the standard version. King Caesar is the same as the version released in 2013 but feature a light up gimmick for the eyes, it stands 24cm tall, and retails for 14,040 yen. It can be pre-ordered now from X-Plus with release scheduled for April 2019. X-Plus is releasing the Frankenstein's Monster Sanda Vs. Gaira Vinyl Statue from War Of The Gargantuas. This vinyl statue features a pose where Gaira is jumping at Sanda, both use some of the existing sculpts previously released, some new parts, and there is a base and support part for Gaira. They also include the movable eye gimmick and various facial expressions(?). Sanda is 22cm tall, Gaira is 19cm tall, and the support pedestal is 18cm tall (to give Gaira his jumping heigth). This will retail for 24,840 yen and can be pre-ordered from the Ric site and the Godzilla Store with release scheduled for March 2019.
