 Cospa is releasing three new Shin Godzilla t-shirts, Destroy Tokyo, Injected, and Time Bomb(?). The Destroy Tokyo is easily the coolest one. The t-shirts are 100% cotton and all black, come in sizes S-XL, and retail for 3,132 yen (approx $27 US). They can be pre-ordered now with release in March from AmiAmi and other retailers.

 Art Spirits has showed off a new figure, Shin Godzilla. There isn't to many details yet but is seems they are shooting for a June release with a price of approx 20,ooo yen (approx $175 US) and it seems it will have a second head. Their previous Godzilla figures released were 20cm and retailed for approx 10,000 yen so this figure could be larger. More details as we receive them.
From Shin Godzilla, the blockbuster 2016 movie that returned the classic Godzilla franchise to its roots! The most famous kaiju in the world measures 6″ tall and 12” long from head to tail. It features incredible detail and over 30 points of articulation, including an articulated tail! Release Date: May 2017
 The above pic showed up online today via Toho Kingdom (not sure where it came from before that), while it does seem to be an updated version one key thing is missing in the pic, his tail. The original version seemed to have too short of a tail compared to other companies figures and the film. More info as we get it. Update: new pic with tail although it seems too be to red on the end.   Magnet/stickers. Groove Garage is releasing a number of Special Construction Platoon items, some are similar to items released previously but with the Special Construction Platoon name and/or logo on them. The items include a jacket, t-shirts, folding box, patches, stickers, and magnets. The logo is something familiar to fans as it features Orochi - The Eight-Headed Dragon. Prices range from 1,620 yen for the patches up to 19,440 yen for the jacket (approx $14 to $170 US) and they are availble for pre-order from AmiAmi and other retailers with release in April 2017.
Bandai Premium is re-releasing two S.H. MonsterArts figures the Mecha King Ghidorah and Godzilla 2000 Special Color Version. Both are the same figures previously released (including any accessories this time it is a limited "lottery" sale through the Tamashii Web Shop. Pre-order for these figures is from now till Feb 21 with release in March. Check out our Figure Database for original release info here.     S.H. MonsterArts showed off the Shin Godzilla Awakening Version a few days ago now here is the official pic and info. This appears to be the same figure previously released but with a different color scheme as well as effects and interchangable parts. It features a extra head and extra tail, effects include a beam for both the mouth and tail, two different breath effects and a stand for the effects. It's 18cm tall and 40cm long, and will retail for 15,984 yen. It can be pre-ordered now from the Bandai Premium Webshop with release in July.
 Toyful is releasing, technically re-releasing, the Godzilla Vinyl Wars Napping Godzilla. This figure will be released in two exclusive colors blue with gray patches, and green with brown patches. This figure is 13cm long (approx 5 inches), and will retail for 3,200 yen (approx $28 US). They can be pre-ordered now with release in April 2017.
 Bandai/Gashapon is releasing two different Shin Godzilla items, Chibi Shin Godzilla 2nd Form Capsule Toys, and Shin Godzilla HG Capsule Figures. The capsule toys are Shin Godzilla's 2nd form in four different poses that can be hooked on different items (fingers, pens, drinking glasses, etc.). They are a little over 2 inches long and should be available in late Feb 2017 and are about 200 yen each (approx $1.75 US). The HG (High Grade) figures are one of each form (4 total, fourth form not shown yet), they are approx 2 to 3.5 inches long/tall. These will retail for about 300 yen (approx $2.60 US) and will be available mid March 2017.
