X-Plus is a Japanese toy company that makes toys based on many Japanese as well international characters. They make one of the largest lines of kaiju vinyl figures. X-Plus has their 30cm Series (30cm scale), Large Monster Series (25cm scale), Gigantic Series, and their Real Master Collection (poly resin "statues"). There are usually two version of many figures, a standard version, and a Ric Boy Limited version that is sold direct from X-Plus and features extra features and/or accessories. This section features all figures from the Toho Large Monster Series with release dates through the end of 2017 (and variants, 2018 forward are in Part Two). Toho Large Monster Series Godzilla 2001
This figure was released July 2010, it stands 24cm tall. The Ric version came with a mini sub from the film.
Toho Large Monster Series Godzilla 1989/Battle Damaged Version
This figure was released July 2010, it stands 24cm tall. The Ric version included a mini Super X2. It was re-released June 2011 as a Battle Damaged Version. It feature a slightly different paint scheme different arms and Biollante "vines".
Toho Large Monster Series Jet Jaguar/Wonder Festival Set/Light Up
This figure was released August 2010, it stands 23cm tall. The Ric version has open and closed hands. This figure was re-released twice, first at Winter Wonder Festival 2012 (Feb 2012) as a limited set with Godzilla 1973 and in June 2016 (below). The Wonder Festival version had differently posed arms, the 2016 version featured light up eyes and one open hand and one closed hand.

This figure was released Oct 2010, it stands 23cm tall. The Ric version came with a mini Super X.
Toho Large Monster Series Godzilla 1973/Wonder Festival Set/Fierce Battle Color Version
This figure was released Nov 2010, it stands 23cm tall. The Ric version came with a second head with an open mouth. This figure was re-released twice, first at Winter Wonder Festival 2012 (Feb 2012) as a limited set with Jet Jaguar and in August 2016 (below). The Wonder Festival version (center below) had differently posed arms and open mouth, the 2016 Fierce Battle Color Version (left and right below) featured a different color scheme, closed mouth, and the originals arm pose.
Toho Large Monster Series Godzilla 1971/Showdown Version
This figure was released March 2011, it stands 23cm tall. The regular version features hands (arms) holding Hedorah eggs and a injured left eye. The Ric has extra arms in a different pose and a extra uninjured head/eye. This figure was re-released August 2017 as the Large Monster Series Godzilla '71 Showdown Version featuring a different color scheme, this is a Ric exclusive with both the heads and arms.
Toho Large Monster Series Godzilla & Anguirus 1955 Monochrome/Natural Color Version Set
These figures were released May 2011, Godzilla stands 23cm tall. These figures were released separately in a monochrome (black and white, below) color scheme at the same time.
Toho Large Monster Series Ebirah/Set
This figure was released June 2011, and is 23cm in length. The Ric version came with a mini Giant Condor (10cm long). This figure was re-released August 2013 as a set with Godzilla 1966 that included the Ric bonus.
Toho Large Monster Series Megalon/Wonder Festival Set
This figure was released August 2011, it stands 23cm tall. The Ric version came with a second set of arms in a "closed" pose. This figure was re-released with Gigan as a limited set at Winter Wonder Festival Feb 2016.
Toho Large Monster Series Baragon 1965 Crawling Pose
This figure was released August 2011, it is 25cm in length. The Ric version featured light up horn and eyes.
Toho Large Monster Series Biollante/Luminescence Version
This figure was released Oct 2011, it stands 31cm tall, 68cm wide, and 60cm deep. The Ric version includes 3 Type 92 maser tanks. It is also scheduled to be released by Bluefin in Feb 2017. This figure was re-released as the Luminescence Version Sept 2023, it features a light up gimmick in the abdomen that can be changed from steady to blinking, and a moveable jaw. This version was a Ric exclusive figure.
Toho Large Monster Series Godzilla 1967/Son Of Godzilla Set
This figure was released Nov 2011, it stands 23cm tall. The Ric version included an in scale Minya figure (15cm tall). These figures were re-released as part of the Son Of Godzilla Set at Summer Wonder Festival 2016.
Toho Large Monster Series Hedorah Landing Stage
This figure was released Dec 2011, it stands 23cm tall. The Ric version came with a mini flying Hedorah figure (7cm long). This figure was released as a Diamond Re-Issue in June 2018.
Toho Large Monster Series Godzilla 1964
This figure was released Jan 2012, it stands 23cm tall. It came with a base for posing the figure. The Ric version came with two Mothra Larva (15cm and 11cm). This figure was re-released in March 2015.
Toho Large Monster Series Gigan/Night Color Version/Wonder Festival Set
This figure was released March 2012, it stands 23cm tall. The Ric version featured a light up eye. It was re-released with Megalon as a limited set at Winter Wonder Festival Feb 2016. It will be released May 2019 as the Night Color version (with light up eye) as a Ric exclusive.
Toho Large Monster Series Mechagodzilla 1974
This figure was released April 2012, it stands 23cm tall. The Ric comes with a mini black hole gorilla alien. This figure was re-released in 2013.
Toho Large Monster Series Mothra 1961
This figure was released May 2012, it has a 62cm wingspan. This figure came with a stand. The Ric version came with light up eyes. This figure was re-released Nov 2014.
Toho Large Monsters Series Mogera 1957/Luminescence Version
This figure was released July 2012, it stands 25cm tall. The Ric version came with either a red or yellow Mysterian (9cm tall). This figure was re-released August 2019 as a Ric exclusive with light up eyes.
Toho Large Monster Series Godzilla 1968
This figure was released Sept 2012, it stands 25cm tall. The Ric version came with an open and closed mouth, and an Minya figure (the same one that came with the Godzilla 1967). This figure was re-released Jan 2015 and included Minya as well.
Toho Large Monsters Series Anguirus 1968
This figure was released Sept 2012, it is 34cm in length. The Ric version came with a mini Moonlight SY-3 ship (11cm long). This figure was re-released March 2015 including the Ric bonus. This figure was released as a Diamond Re-Issue in June 2018.
Toho Large Monster Series Rodan 1956
This figure was released Oct 2012, it is 25cm tall and has a 44cm wingspan. The Ric version came with a mini Meganulon. This figure was re-released June 2018 as a Ric exclusive which comes with a mini flying Rodan.
Toho Large Monster Series Godzilla 1966/Set
This figure was released Oct 2012, it stands 25cm tall. The Ric version included a mini Mothra figure (15cm). This figure was re-released August 2013 as a set with Ebirah 1966 that included the Ric bonus.
Toho Large Monster Series Varan 1958
This figure was released Nov 2012, it stands 14.5cm tall and 38cm in length. The Ric version came with a mini flying Varan (10cm long).
Toho Large Monster Series Gorosaurus 1967/1968
This figure was released Nov 2012, is stands 23.5cm tall and 36.5cm in length. The Ric version comes with a mini Explorer sub (11cm long). This figure was re-released as the 1968 Version Ric exclusive figure, June 2015. It featured a slightly different color scheme.

Toho Large Monster Series Rodan 1964
This figure was released Jan 2013, It stands 26.5cm tall and has a wingspan of 38cm. The Ric version came with a Mothra larva.
Toho Large Monster Series Mechagodzilla 1975/Luminescence Version
This figure was released March 2013, it stands 26.5cm tall. The Ric version came with a second "brain" head. This figure was released as the Luminescence version July 2019, it features light up eyes (but no brain head).
Toho Large Monster Series Godzilla 1974/75
This figure was released June 2013, it stands 23cm tall. The Ric version came with a extra left arm to hold an included Mechagodzilla head. Note: this is listed as Godzilla 1974 on the X-plus site but the X-Plus description seems to describe Godzilla 1975 (there are subtle diffences between those two suits).
Toho Large Monster Series Kumonga 1967/Set
This figure was released July 2013, it is 50cm wide. The Ric version came with a webbed up Kamicuras base (the standard had a webbed rock base). It was re-released as part of the Son Of Godzilla Set at Summer Wonder Festival 2016 and featured red eyes.
Toho Large Monster Series King Caesar 1974/Light Up/Fierce Fighting Color Version
This figure was released July 2013, it stands 24cm tall. The Ric version had a second set of ears (up) and a mini Caesar statue. This figure was re-released in April 2019 as a Ric exclusive featuring light up eyes (and down posed ears). This figure was released as the Fierce Fighting Color Version Feb 2025, it feature light up eyes, down posed ears, and a new color scheme.
Toho Large Monster Series Mechagodzilla 1974 Hangar Base Pose
This figure was released August 2013, it stands 25cm tall. The Ric had a light up gimmick for eyes and chest piece. It was packaged with a thin plastic backround for display.
Toho Large Monster Series Baragon 1965 Standing Pose/Fierce Battle Color Version
This figure was released August 2013, it stands 23cm tall. The Ric version came with a second set of ears (up) and had a light up gimmick for the horn and eyes. This figure will be re-released as the Fierce Battle Color Version, Jan 2020, with light up horn and eyes and a different color scheme (below).
Toho Large Monster Series King Ghidorah 1968
This figure was released Dec 2014, it stands 32cm tall and has a wingspan of 47cm. The Ric version came with two Kilaak ships, regular and "Fire Dragon". It was also released by Bluefin.
Toho Large Monster Series Mothra 1964, DX Set
This figure was released April 2015, it 38cm tall (with base) and has a wingspan of 65cm. The Ric version was a set that included Godzilla 1964, this is the same Godzilla figure released previously. This figure will be re-released June 2018 as the Mothra '64 DX Set and is a Ric exclusive. It will come with two larva (originally released with Godzilla in Feb 2012), and a base and stand (originally came with '61 version of Mothra in June 2012). This figure was released as a Diamond Re-Issue in Aug 2018 (with egg base).
Toho Large Monster Series Godzilla & Biollante 1989 Bandai Premium Light Up Set
These set was released June 2015 as a Bandai Premium Set. These are the same figures previously released but both include a light up gimmick, Godzilla back fins and Biollante chest section.
Toho Large Monster Series Godzilla 1995
This figure was released July 2015, it stands 26cm tall. The Ric version featured a light up gimmick (body, red patches).
Toho Large Monster Series Total Advance Complementary Set Vol.1 - Manda 2nd Gen & Mothra Larva
This set was released Oct 2015, Manda was 46cm in length and Mothra was 23cm in length. The set came with two rock bases for display.
Toho Large Monster Series Destoroyah/Luminescence Version
This figure was released Nov 2015, it stands 34cm tall. The Ric version came with the Destoroyah Aggregate (14cm). This figure will be re-released Oct 2017 as the Toho Large Monsters Series Destroyah Luminescence Version it features a light up gimmick for the eyes and horn, and what appears to be a darker color scheme. This is a Ric/Bandai exclusive and has no bonus like the original. This figure was released as a Diamond Re-Issue in June 2018.
Toho Large Monster Series Total Advance Complementary Set Vol.2 - Baragon & Varan 1968
This set was released Dec 2015, Baragon was 23cm tall and Varan was 21cm in length. Varan has a rock base for display.
Toho Large Monster Series Kamacuras
This figure was released July 2016, it is 23cm in length and includes a pedestal. The Ric version was a three figure set (including pedestals for the three).
Toho Large Monster Series Shin Godzilla/Sets/Kits
This figure was released Dec 2016, it stands 25cm tall, it featured a closed mouth and red highlights. The Ric version came with a second roaring head and a different paint scheme including purple highlights. The same base figure was used for a Kadokawa Mook (magazine/book) and figure set, there was two versions a green "glow" version and a red one (bottom pic). This set was solicited in June 2016. This figure has also been revealed as two kits the Shin Godzilla Roar Luminous Purple Clear Version Kit and Shin Godzilla Soft Vinyl Assembly Kit Red Clear Version (left and right below). The purple version, which glows and has roaring head, is being released by Bandai Premium March 2017, and the red (possible the same as the Mook set figure) by Kadokawa also in March 2017.

This figure was released March 2017, it stands 28cm tall. The Ric version comes with a second "closed" tail.
Toho Large Monster Series King Ghidorah 2001
This figure was released April 2017, it stands 31cm tall. The Ric features a "glitter" paint scheme.

This figure was released May 2017, it stands 33cm tall and has a wingspan of 45cm. The Ric version features light up eyes.

This figure was released May 2017, it stands 23cm tall. The Ric version comes with Minya (15cm) this appears to be a different one than previously released.

This figure was released June 2017, it stands 28cm tall. The Ric version comes with a second set of arms (posed upward), and a damaged eye, it also has a light-up gimmick for the eyes (steady and blinking) and top of head.
