We posted the preview of a number of new X-Plus figures we now have some more info on the Yuji Sakai Best Works Selection Godzilla 2004 Poster Version "Farewell, Godzilla." RMC statue. This statue looks to be the first in the series, this statue stands 23cm tall (25cm with pedestal base with a plate), and is 26cm wide, it features a light up feature for the fins and base on the Ric version. There was no info on price or release date yet and this maybe a shared figure with Bandai (graphics are similar to those used by Bandai). More info as it becomes available.
Update: this statue will be up for pre-order May 8th, and will retail for 41,800 yen (38,000 yen on US site ($353), approx $391 US, 40,700 yen for the standard), it is scheduled for a Sept 2020 release. Medicom is releasing the First Godzilla Puppet (Guigno) Version Figure, this figure was a Wonder Festival exclusive. The sale is a lottery sale, and the figure stands 26cm tall, and will retail for 12,000 yen. It can be ordered from the Medicom website and it will be released in May 2020.
X-Plus as part of their Spring Kaiju Festival (an online event) has previewed a number of new figure releases, these include DefoReal Mechagodzilla 1974, Large Monster Series Irys, Favorite Sculptors Line Rodan 1956, Favorite Sculptors Line Gamera 1965, X-Plus Yuji Sakai Best Works Collection Godzilla 2004 Poster Version “Goodbye Godzilla” (resin statue), and four Ultra Kaiju teasers. Both FSL figures are based on Asai Zoukei kits (Gamera looks release ready, Rodan is an unpainted prototype) the Rodan Ric will feature the base pictured and Gamera is based on a poster image, Irys looks to be complete with the Ric having a light up for the head chest and legs (pre-order soon hopefully), and the Mechagodzilla DefoReal is an unpainted prototype. The poster statue looks incredible, it looks like it will come with a plaque style base, and will likely be a pricey item. The four Ultra Kaiju are teasers (blacked out reveals, Large Monster Series). No other info is given but Irys and Gamera look release ready so pre-orders could hit soon.
Bandai is releasing the Godzilla Vs. Mechagodzilla First Appearance Set 1 (Kaiju Extra Land Mechagodzilla Project Godzilla Vs. Mechagodzilla (1974) First Appearance Set 1 Fake Godzilla Version), the second or technically first set of figures in the full set. This set features the two before versions of Fake Godzilla (Mechagodzilla in disguise), one looks like Godzilla but has a couple of patches of Space Titanium showing, the second is Godzilla beginning his transformation with his lower half "phasing". Both stand approx 20cm tall, and the set will retail for 13,200 yen. They can be pre-ordered now from Bandai with release scheduled for Oct 2020.
CCP has announced their CCP Toy Festival what looks to be an online toy sale. With events and shows being cancelled CCP has turned to a virtual sale of sort, the sale will be anywhere from 30 to 50% off (possible as high as 70%) on 150 or more items. These include Ultraman and Toho related figures and more, the sale runs from April 24th to April 26th. Keep an eye out on the CCP website here.
Tanaka Studio (Kenichi Tanaka) is releasing two new busts the FMS (Film Monsters Statue) Godzilla 1954 Arrange Image Bust (FMS18), and Godzilla 2019 Bust (FMS19). Both are unpainted and unassembled kits (6 pieces for Godzilla 1954, 9 pieces for Godzilla 2019), designed with ZBrush, each is 17cm tall, Godzilla 1954 is 10,000 yen and Godzilla 2019 is 12,000 yen. Both can be ordered now from Tanaka Studio, with the 1954 releasing now and 2019 releasing in May 2020.

There are four versions landing, adult, chimney, and crawling (quadruped), each is molded in cream colored luminous vinyl with a black and red splatter paint app. They are 21cm, 26cm, 19.5cm and 30cm respectively in height (length for crawling), limited to 150,100, 200, and 50 pieces each respectively, and retail for 11,000 yen, 14,000 yen, 12,000 yen, and 9,000 yen respectively as an early order price (all will increase by 2,000 yen afterwards), all can be pre-ordered now from CCP with release scheduled for August/September 2020.
