 There was a number of kaiju related figures at Summer Wonder Festival, some new, some previously shown. Two new items were the Aoshima Mechagodzilla/Kiryu model kit, while the kit itself isn't new the inclusion of the AC-3 White Heron or Shirasagi is. It is unclear if it comes with one or two, probably one, and possibly a stand. Also new is a Threezero Baltan a very detailed figure that comes with a second set of hands. It looks like it will be up for pre-order Aug 2019 and retail for $280 US. Also on display were the Megahouse Godzilla 2019, and the Art Spirits Godzilla 2019, Shin Godzilla 2nd Form, and GFW Gigan Version 2. Pics from Dengeki Hobby.

 Yuji Sakai had some of his kits on display including the recently announced Shin Godzilla 4th Form Awaking Version kit. Also on display was a couple of awesome Gamera kits, photos from Jay Davies.      X-Plus once again brought it's A game to Summer Wonder Festival, there were some new announcements as well as some updates. The Ric Gigantic Godzilla 2019 was revealed and looks to be blue fins that don't light up, and it will have a Dec release. The King Of The Monsters DefoReals were shown again as well as a new Godzilla Raids Again set. Kong Fighting pose was show again. A number of Ultraman releases were shown including a punk rock kaiju. Yuji Sakai will be releasing a new Shin Godzilla 4th Form Awakening Version Resin Kit, which will be available for pre-order at Summer Wonder Festival. This unpainted and unassembled kit is approx 39cm tall with it's tall curving over it's head. It is limited to 60 pieces and will retail for 42,500 yen (46,750 yen with tax, Wonder Festival special price is 46,300 with free shipping), it is scheduled for release in Nov 2019. For those who pre-order at Wonder Festival they will receive a signed photo by Yuji Sakai.       Hazawa Gumi has announced its Summer Wonder Festival exclusive BioGoji Phosphorescent Version figures. You read right, figures, the regular version of this figure was released approx three years ago, now it is in a painted glow in the dark vinyl, and an unpainted version (same as Super Festival, original post here). The painted version is a metallic purple color but will still glow. They stands 17cm tall and the unpainted will retail for 4,860 yen, the painted version 5,940 yen. It looks like both will be available following Wonder Festival which is July 28 2019.    
      Kudafu Romi will have an awesome new Biollante resin kit, Version 3 (2nd form) available at Summer Wonder Festival. The kit comes unassembled and unpainted and is approx 26cm tall. It is designed to be able to light up, no light up function is included. It will retail for 43,000 yen and will be limited to approx 20 kits. They will have other kits available at Wonder Festival as well. (Note Godzilla is not included.)     X-Plus has announced the DefoReal Destoroyah figure, the next figure in this popular line. This figure is 16 cm (including horns) tall, 19 cm in length, and 21 cm wide (including wings), the Ric version features a light up horn and eyes. It will retail for 11,000 yen ($99.14 US) and can be pre-ordered now on both the Japanese and US Ric sites with release scheduled for Dec 2019.
  We have an update on the DeAgostini "Make A Weekly Godzilla" Yuji Sakai Godzilla 1954 Figure Kit, the first issue will be released August 27th, info which we didn't have originally. Most of the rest of the info we had is the same, what has been added is a new back drop, nameplate, and vehicles that can be purchase separately for 26,500 yen (payment plan). There also seems to be a web bonus of a light up fin (we believe this is a separate item not part of the kit). Check out our original post (link above) and the DeAgostini site here.  X-Plus has announced there Summer Wonder Festival Exclusive Pink DefoReal Hedorah. This figure is the same mold as the previous version molded in pink vinyl, it will retail for 5,000 yen, will be limited to 150 at the show and other 150 with a web lottery afterwards. Wonder Festival is this Sunday July 28th at Makuhari Messe International Exhibition Hall.       In an announcement that came out of nowhere NECA has announced the Godzilla 1964 figure, this figure seems to follow suit with the deluxe/ultimate packaging. Check out the details below from NECA. Based on its appearance in the 1964 film, Mothra vs Godzilla, Godzilla stands approximately 6” tall and measures 12” long from head to tail.
