Banpresto is releasing the Magnuvics King Ghidorah and Mecha King Ghidorah figures, a new line within their Ichiban Kuji line of figures. They are Yuji Sakai produced, sculpted by Yuuki Watanabe (G-tempest), and painted by Takenori Yatake, the Magnuvics name is because of these figures size and details. These figures are not lottery figures as is usual for this series and will be purchased, they are 27cm tall, and will each retail for 24,000 yen. The sale period is from May 16th to June 29th (Japan), with release scheduled for October 2025. These may be available as other figures have through other retailers (we will update with that info once available).
The next kaiju related Ichiban Kuji lottery has been announced, Godzilla Giant Monster Legend G, which is a bit of a surprise being Ghidorah prototypes have been shown recently. The Godzilla 1991's are 23cm tall, Mothra is 21cm in length, the Godzillasaurus is 15cm and the Dorats are 2cm. Other prizes will be available as well, the lottery can be entered as usual at bookstores, hobby shops, some game centers, drugstores, Ichiban Kuji official shops, Ichiban Kuji ONLINE, etc., and lottery ticket will be 900 yen, all prizes will be released June 2025. As with previous lotteries these items will most likely be available for purchase from retailers as well. Note Godzilla is a scaled down Yuji Sakai sculpt (originally 30cm tall).
