22Toys is releasing the Soft Vinyl Taro Series Tako Kong lottery figures. Both figures are a unique design featuring Kong with the giant Octopus on his head (from the fight scene in King Kong Vs. Godzilla), it comes in two styles a pink vinyl version, and a clear "Aurora" version, both are 12cm tall, and retail for 3,980 yen for the pink, and 4,200 yen for the clear. The lottery will be on July 2nd on their social media channels (Facebook, Twitter).

All volumes are published by Dai Nippon Printing, read from left to right, each volume is 36 pages long and printed on A4 size paper. They are distributed by the Godzilla Store and cover the conceptualization and production aspects of kaiju from Toho's library of films, with each volume focusing on a different character.

New collectibles and mechandise has been announced for the Shinji Nishikawa Original Painting Exhibition Godzilla II Hyakusho at Gallery 21 Tokyo. The items include art prints, t-shirts, figures, and more, below is just a sample of some of the items available. The figures include US Toys Bill Box figures, a Marusan figure (posted on our Facebook page), another interesting item are maps of Godzilla's battles with both a Showa and Heisei version being available. Mondo has been teasing their Mothra statue for sometime now we have official pics via Gizmodo as well as two new posters. The statue is 16 inches tall and 19 inches wide (wingspan), two versions will be available a limited edition, limited to 300, and the regular version retailing for $395 and $375 respectively, the limited edition features two eggs one with Mothra larva one without, the regular version has only has the one without. It is sculpted by Matt Black, designed by Ian MacDonald, and painted by Hector Arce. The posters designed by Tom Whalen, in similar style to his previous posters and he also did the box for the Mothra statue, are 24 inches by 36 inches, comes in two versions English (limited to 225) and Japanese (limited to 125), and will retail for $55 and $75 respectively. All go on sale tomorrow with the figure being 12 noon EST, the posters 1 PM EST at MondoShop.com.
Medicom has announced their next lottery figure the Godzilla Vinyl Wars EX Anraku Ansaku Godzilla 2000 Millennium 2nd Version. This version features dark blue vinyl with blue metallic spray on the front and silver and red fins, it stands 26cm tall and will retail for 13,200 yen. The lottery will run from June 24th to July 10th on the Medicom website will the figure being released in Sept 2021.
CCP is releasing the Artistic Monsters Collection Hedorah Stone Statue Version figures. There are three versions the Landing, Adult, and Smoke Stack (same sculpt as previous colored versions), all feature a grey stone like coloring, they are 21cm, 26cm, and 19.5cm tall each respectively, they are limited to 150, 100, and 200 respectively, and they retail for 8,800, 13,000, and 12,100 yen (tax included) respectively. They can be pre-ordered now on the CCP website, and will be released Oct/Nov 2021.
Bandai is releasing the Acrylic Logo Display EX Godzilla Singular Point White and Red versions. Both are the same style but in different colors. It is approx. 10.4cm wide and 4.6cm tall, and retails for 1,650 yen each. They can be pre-ordered now from Bandai with release scheduled for August 2021.
Marusan has announced new lottery figures as well as a Godzilla Store exclusive figure. The lottery figures include Mechagodzilla 450 Mecha-inside GID Black Lines Version, King Joe 450 Mecha-inside GID Black Lines Version, Godzilla 1989 Blue Glitter Version, and Margacha Toho Kaiju Encyclopedia 60mm featuring Successive Godzilla. Mechagodzilla and King Joe are 30cm and 28cm tall respectively, and both retail for 29,700 yen, Godzilla 1989 is 23cm tall, and retails for 11,000 yen, and the 60mm Godzillas are five different versions, retailing for 1,000 yen each (random figure). All can be won by entering the lottery as usual by emailing Marusan with the subject "POP-UP Asakusa 6/19" and the text "name, address, phone number" by June 14th. The Godzilla Store exclusive is Mechagodzilla 1974 350 Godzilla Store Limited Classic Version, it stands 23cm tall and retails for 11,000 yen, it can be pre-ordered now with release in August 2021 (pics at bottom).
Tamashii/Bandai has revealed the S.H. MonsterArts Godzilla Ultima, and it does not disappoint. It is easily the best looking Ultima figure, it stands 16.5cm tall and is 44cm in length (with a very long tail), it features a second head and two mini figures of Jet Jaguar (prototype achromatic minifigure set, and beta achromatic minifigure set), it will retail for 11,000 yen. It is available for pre-ordered now from Bandai with release scheduled for Nov 2021.
