S.H. MonsterArts is a line of figures made by Tamashii Nations, the collectors division of Bandai Japan. Started in 2011they are highly detailed figures that feature multiple points of articulation, including many Godzilla monsters, as well as Gamera, and Kong. A number of figures are Tamashii Web Shop exclusives but can also be available through third party retailers. Many of the figures have been sold in the US through BlueFin Distributors. This section features all figures with release dates through the end of 2017 (2018 forward are in Part Two).

Godzilla 1994

The first figure in the line Godzilla 1994 was released Nov 19, 2011 and was re-issued June 23, 2012. Modeled after Yuji Sakai's design this figure is 15.5cm tall. The first edition of this figure came with an blue atomic breath effect and a radiation wave base/stand for it. The second edition lack the effects parts and came in a different box.

UX-02-93 Mechagodzilla

The second figure in the line Mechagodzilla 1993 (official name UX-02-93 Mechagodzilla) was released Dec 3, 2011. This figure is 16cm tall, featured some diecast parts, and came with it's Mega Buster weapon and stand, interchangable flight parts and an open plasma grenade gunport part. An accessory pack with Garuda was released at a later date to go with this figure.

UX-01-92 Garuda

Garuda (officially UX-01-92 Garuda) was released in 2012. This was a stand alone toy but also could be used with Mechagodzilla 1993. It came with a base, laser effects parts, shock anchors, and pieces to combine it with Mechagodzilla.

Godzilla Effects & Toho Special Super Weapons Set

This set was released in 2012, the set includes two base stands with multiple arms to hold the many aircraft included, three ASTOL-MB93 maser aircraft, three F-16s and the Super-X2 (with open and closed weapon). It also includes five MBT-92 and five MBT-93 maser vehicles as well as a spiral ray accessory with a another base for it.

Space Godzilla

Space Godzilla was released March 24, 2012, was sculpted by Yuji Sakai, and stands 16.5cm tall. It came with a Corona Beam effect and base with energy crystal base/stand.

MOGERA

Mogera (Mobile Operation Godzilla Expert Robot Aero-type: M.O.G.E.R.A) was released May 12, 2012. It stands 16.5cm tall, and is made with some diecast parts (like Mechagodzilla). It comes with plasma maser effect, spiral missiles with smoke trails, two city base/stands for these, maser dish, and interchangable parts for his flight mode. Of note the US release adds a U in it's name as MOGUERA.

Little Godzilla

Little Godzilla was released June 15,2012 as a Tamashii Web Shop limited item. It's approx 8cm tall and comes with a crystal prison (two base pieces and four crystals).

Godzilla (Comic-Con Explosion)

This figure was a SDCC exclusive release, based on the point where Godzilla "meltsdown" in Godzilla Vs. Destoroyah. Released July 12,2012, it stands 15.5 cm, and sculpted by Yuji Sakai. This appears to be a remolded Godzilla 1994.

Fire Rodan

Fire Rodan was released July 14, 2012, it's 13cm tall with a 21cm wingspan. It came with two stands for multiple poses, Urainium Heat Beam, and Spiral Heat Ray (for use with Godzilla and come with an extra base/stand), and a damaged Mechagodzilla head.

King Ghidorah

King Ghidorah was released Sept 29, 2012, sculpted by Yuji Sakai, it's 25cm tall (easily the largest figure at that point). It has three gravity beams and a stand with three arms to hold them.

Godzilla 1995 (Burning Godzilla)

Godzilla 1995 was released Nov 30, 2012, is sculpted by Yuji Sakai, and is 15.5cm tall.  It came with two vehicles a MBT-92, and a DAG-MB96, and an extra set of hands.

Godzilla Junior

Godzilla Junior was released Dec, 2012 as a Tamashii Web Shop exclusive. It's 11cm tall and came with two helicopters.

Destoroyah

Destoroyah (final form) was released Feb 27, 2013, it stands 25cm tall. There was no accessories with this figure.

King Kong 2005

King Kong (2005) was released April 27, 2013, and stands 16cm tall. He comes with three heads, three sets of hand, including one with Ann Darrow, and a tree branch.

Destoroyah Evolution Set

This set was released June 2013 as a Tamashii Web Shop exclusive. It included the juvenile, aggregate, and flying forms ​as well as an alternate head for the aggregate form. They are 6cm, 9cm, 14cm tall (length for flying) respectively.

Godzilla 1964

Godzilla 1964 was released July 2013 as a Tamashii Web Shop exclusive and is the first Showa era figure in the line. This figure is 14.5cm tall, and did not come with any accessories.

​MFS-3 Type 3 Kiryu Mechagodzilla (2002)

Kiryu (MFS-3 Type 3 Kiryu Mechagodzilla (2002)) was released Sept 14, 2013, and stands 15.5cm tall. This figure feature some diecast parts, extra heads (evil, shutdown), opening chest to reveal Absolute Zero weapon, and removable backpack and arm weapons.

Biollante

Biollante was released Nov 2013 as a Tamashii Web Shop exclusive. This figure comes with a multi-color (red, orange) light up chest, and comes with four tenticles. This figure is 19cm to 25cm tall (dependent on pose).

Godzilla 2000

Godzilla 2000 was released December 28, 2013, and stands 15.5cm tall. This figured was a concept designed by Yuji Sakai and not based on the film version. There was no accessories with this figure.

Battra (Adult)

Battra (Adult form) was released January 2014 as a Tamashii Web Shop exclusive. It came with a stand for display. This figure has a 32cm wingspan. 

Gigan 2004

Gigan 2004 (GFW) was released April 19, 2014. It came with 2 sets of hands, hook and chainsaw, a serrated and bladed head spikes, serrated and bladed mandibles, and a second armored neck. This figure is 18cm tall.

Mothra (Adult)

Mothra (Adult form) was released April 2014 as a Tamashii Web Shop exclusive. It comes with a stand for display. This figure has a 35cm wingspan. 

Mothra And Battra Set (Larva)

This set was released June, 2014 as a Tamashii Web Shop exclusive. The set includes a webbing weapon for Mothra. Mothra is 17cm in length, Battra is 27cm in length and 14cm tall.

Godzilla 1995 Birth

Godzilla 1995 Birth (Adult Godzilla Junior) was released July 19, 2014, and re-released Aug 22, 2015. This figure is a remolded Burning Godzilla and came with an extra set of hands, and Atomic Breath effect and stand. It stands 15.5cm tall.

Godzilla 2014

Godzilla 2014 was released Sept 13, 2014, and stands 15cm tall. This figure was sculpted by Yuji Sakai, it did not come with any accessories.

Toho Special Effects Superweapon 2

This set was released Sept 2014, it is similar to the effects pack released 2012 and was a Tamashii Web Sop exclusive. It included the Super X3, 4 MBT-92s, 4 MBAW-93s, 3 ASTOL-MB93s, 2 damaged buildings, a baseplate and stand for the Super X3. The set also ​comes with the cadmium missile pod and freeze ray for the Super X3.

Godzilla Effects Pack 2

This set, like the Tho Special Effects pack, was released Sept 2014 as a Tamashii Web Shop exclusive. This set includes 4 damaged buildings, 1 exploding beam type, 1 basic beam type, a fire stand, and a cracking ground stand.

​MFS-3 Type 3 Kiryu Mechagodzilla (2003)

Kiryu (​MFS-3 Type 3 Kiryu Mechagodzilla (2003)) was released Oct 2014 as a Tamashii Web Shop exclusive, and stands 15.5cm tall. This figure is a remolded Kiryu 2002 with slight changes included the chest (Triple Hyper Maser Cannon), right arm (with reveal gears), hand, and shoulder. like in the film Tokyo SOS. It features a second hand, damaged head, and removable back pack.

Gamera 1996

Gamera 1996 was released Jan 31, 2015, and stands 14cm tall. Sculpted under the oversight of Tomoo Haraguchi and Shinichi Wakasa, this figure comes with multiple parts effects to create many poses. It includes fireball weapon with stand, opening chest weapon, different arms and leg openings to pose in flying mode as well as a different attachment for the stand.

Godzilla 2014 (Poster Edition)

Godzilla 2014 (Poster Edition) was released Feb 25, 2015 as a bonus with a special Blu-ray/DVD set. It's the same figure previously released but with a different color scheme based of the films poster. This figure stands 15cm tall.

Mecha King Ghidorah

Mecha King Ghidorah was released Feb 2015 as a Tamashii Web Shop exclusive. It stand 25cm tall and features diecast parts. It comes with the G-Grip weapon 4 claw attachments, and three Dorat figures. ​This figure is getting a Bandai Premium re-release in March 2017.

Godzilla 2000 Special Color Version

The Godzilla 2000 Special Color Version was released May 2015 as a Tamashii Web Shop exclusive. It's the same figure that was release previously in Dec 2013 with a different paint scheme most notably it's back spikes being gray in color. This figure is getting a Bandai Premium re-release in March 2017. This figure stands 15.5cm tall.

Godzilla 2014 Spit Fire Version

The Godzilla 2014 Spit Fire Version was released July 2015 as a Tamashii Web Shop exclusive. This was the same figure released twice previously this time it featured translucent blue back spikes and slightly different paint scheme. It also included Atomic Breath effect and stand, and a severed MUTO head. This figure was 15cm tall.

Godzilla 1964 Appearance Version

The Godzilla 1964 Appearance Version was released Oct 2015 as a Tamashii Web Shop exclusive. This is the same figure release previously with a new "dirty" color scheme, and also has an Atomic Breath effect and stand. This figure stands 14.5cm tall.

King Ghidorah Special Color Version

King Ghidorah Special Color Version was released Dec 2015 as a Tamashii Web Shop exclusive. This figure is the same figure released previously but with a brighter color scheme and new Anti Gravity Beams both based off the poster by Noriyoshi Ohrai for the film. It also came with a flight stand and time machine ship (KIDS). This figure is 25cm tall.

Godzilla 2001

Godzilla 2001 was released June 2016 as a Tamashii Web Shop exclusive. It stands 16cm tall, and did not come with any accessories.

Godzilla 1954

Godzilla 1954 was released June 29, 2016 and stands 15cm tall. It was designed by Yuji Sakai and did not come with any accessories.

Godzilla 1989 KOU KYOU KYOKU

Godzilla 1989 Kou Kyou Kyoku (Sight, Sound, Song) was released Oct 27, 2016 and stands 20cm tall. This figure features a light-up feature, dorsal fins and mouth; sound, roar, heat ray, and footsteps; and song, the theme from Godzilla Vs. Biollante and Godzilla Vs Special Vehicle Team theme. There was no effect accessories with this figure.

Shin Godzilla 2016

Shin Godzilla 2016 was released Nov 26, 2016, it stand 18cm tall and is 40cm in length. They used 3D data from the movie to design this figure. There was no accessories with this figure.

Godzilla 1995 Ultimate Burning Version

Godzilla 1995 Ultimate Burning Version was released Dec 2016 as a Tamashii Web Shop exclusive. It stands 16cm tall, and is a remolded Godzilla 1995 with new paint scheme. It comes with an extra set of hands and four steam effects parts.

​Godzilla feat. EVA-01

Godzilla feat. EVA-01 was released Jan 2017, as a Tamashii Web Shop exclusive. This figure stands 16.5cm tall and is a remolded Godzilla 1995 Rebirth figure with new color scheme base on the Godzilla Vs Evangelion crossover promo for Shin Godzilla. It comes with the Atomic Ray weapon and stand.

Destoroyah Special Color Version

Destoroyah Special Color Version was released March 2017, as a Tamashii Web Shop exclusive. It is the same Destoroyah released previously with a new color scheme, it also includes four Maser Guns and four Maser Tanks. This figure is 25cm tall.

Super Mechagodzilla

Super Mechagodzilla was released in March 2017, as a Tamashii Web exclusive. It is the same Mechagodzilla 1993 released previously but this time comes with Garuda (there is slightly different articulation in the neck for flight pose on this version), which was previously released separately as well. It comes with a set of extra hands, an open plasma grenade gunport, attachment parts for Garuda and stand. This figure is 16cm tall.

Shin Godzilla Second And Third Form Set

Shin Godzilla Second And Third Form Set was released May 2017, as a Tamashii Web Shop exclusive. The second form stands 5cm tall and the third form stands 13cm tall, there are no accessories with these figures.

Shin Godzilla Limited Color Versions

These are the same figures being released separately but in a bronze paint scheme. These are premiums with purchase of Shin Godzilla on Blu-ray from the Godzilla Store, either Shin Godzilla or the Second And Third Form Set. These versions were released Oct 2017.

Human Size Godzilla 1991 Hokkaido Version

Being released in July 2017 as a limited lottery item. While not technically a S.H. MonsterArts figure it was revealed as part of a MonsterArts display. This figure will be about 130cm wide (base), 305cm deep (including tail), 194cm tall (with base approx 185cm without, over 6 feet). This figure does not have any articulation and was designed by Yuji Sakai.

Shin Godzilla Awakening Version

Shin Godzilla Awakening Version was released July 2017, it's 18cm tall and 40cm in length. It features a different color scheme then the regular version and effect parts including heat ray, flame ray, tail ray, as well as head and tail replacement parts and a stand.

Mothra Special Color Version Set

This set was released August 2017, the adult Mothra has a 35cm wingspan, and the Mothra larva is 17cm long. These feature a different color scheme than the previous versions, the adult Mothra has a night time color scheme, and the larva has a "wet" look. It comes with antenna beam effect and flight stand for the adult Mothra. This is a Tamashii Web Shop exclusive.

Soul of Chogokin Tamashii MIX Mechagodzilla Essential Right Poster Version

Soul of Chogokin Tamashii MIX Mechagodzilla Essential Right Poster Version was released Sept 2017, it's 17cm tall. This figure features both plastic and metal parts, it can be separated into three vehicles at the same time and some of those can be combined with each other. This figure is a Tamashii Web Shop exclusive but will be sold through Bluefin to select retailers.

S.H.MonsterArts Godzilla Essential Right Poster Version

S.H.MonsterArts Godzilla Essential Right Poster Version was released Sept 2017, it stands 16cm tall. This is the same figure released previously with a different color scheme, it comes with extra hands and a "special" card. This figure is a Tamashii Web Shop exclusive.

Battra Special Color Version Set

This set was released Oct 2017, the adult Battra has a 35cm wingspan, and the Battra larva is 27cm long. These feature a different color scheme than the previous versions, the adult Battra has a night time color scheme, and the larva features coloring from when it emerges in Nagoya . It comes with horn beam effect for the larva and flight stand for the adult. This is a Tamashii Web Shop exclusive.

Godzilla Jr Special Color Version

Godzilla Jr Special Color Version was released Nov 2017, it stands 11cm tall. It comes with a ray effect and stand, it is a Tamashii Web Shop exclusive.

Godzilla 2017 Anime Version

Godzilla 2017 Anime Version, from Godzilla Monster Planet, was released Dec 2017, it stands 17cm tall. It comes with a special card.
