All volumes are published by Dai Nippon Printing, read from left to right, each volume is 36 pages long and printed on A4 size paper. They are distributed by the Godzilla Store and cover the conceptualization and production aspects of kaiju from Toho's library of films, with each volume focusing on a different character.
These volumes cover Godzilla from Mothra Vs. Godzilla (1964, Vol.40), and Megalon from Godzilla Vs. Megalon (1973, Vol.39). Bandai is releasing two styles of metal die-cut Godzilla bookends, Godzilla Vs. King Ghidorah and Godzilla Vs. Destoroyah made by Sun-Star. With each style one side is Godzilla the other is either Ghidorah or Destoroyah, all feature a black finish, each is approx 26cm wide, 18cm tall, and 13cm deep, and retail for 4,950 yen per set. They can be pre-ordered now from Bandai with release scheduled for May 2020.
Bandai is releasing two new Godzilla VS t-shirts, Godzilla and Destoroyah, as well as releasing five previously released t-shirts a second time. The new shirts each come in two different color schemes, sizes S to XL, are 100% cotton, and retail for 3,565 yen. These as well as the re-releases can be ordered now from Bandai with release scheduled for Feb 2020.
The Godzilla Store has announced three new 2020 Godzilla calendars, two Godzilla Generation calendars, and a Comic Godzilla calendar. The Godzilla Generations are by Shinji Nishikawa, and Yuji Kaida (one for each artist), both are vertical, and retail for 2,750 yen. The comic calendar is by Shinji Nishikawa, features deformed style characters, is horizontal, and will retail for 1,430 yen. All can be ordered no from the Godzilla Store.
Bandai is releasing new VS Series Godzilla Full Color T-Shirts, the shirts feature old school designs and multicolored rainbow style effects. The designs include all the Heisei Godzilla films (from Biollante to Destoroyah, except Godzilla 1984), they come in sizes S to XL, and are 100% cotton. Each shirt retails fro 3,850 yen, and can be pre-ordered from Bandai with release scheduled for Jan 2020.
X-Plus recently revealed their DefoReal Shin Godzilla Clear Version, and now it is officially up for pre-order. This figure is the same previously released (in 2017)but in a clear painted vinyl, it stands 13cm tall, and retails for 6,600 yen. It can be pre-ordered now from X-Plus and the Godzilla Store and will be released March 2020.
Bandai is releasing Godzilla and Mothra tissue and paper holders, these are plush style items made by Sun-Star. Godzilla holds tissues while Mothra holds roll paper (toilet paper or rolled tissue), the tissue and paper sits inside them, for Godzilla it is pulled from his dorsel fins, but in Mothra's case it is pulled from her mouth giving the appearance like she is shooting her silk webbing, which is actual pretty cool. Godzilla is 27cm wide, 56cm long, and 20cm tall, Mothra is 19cm wide, 30cm long, and 25cm tall, each is 4,950 yen. They can be pre-ordered from Bandai with release schedule for April 2020.
Update: these can also can ordered from the Godzilla Store now. X-Plus has announced two exclusives for Tokyo Comic Con DefoReal Green Hedorah, and DefoReal Mini Shin Godzillas. Hedorah appears to be the same figure previously released but in green, it will be limited to 50, with a web lottery to follow, and retails for 5,000 yen. The mini Shins are smaller than those released previously, 5.5cm tall (9.5 to tip of the tail), come in three colors, red, black, and purple (clear vinyl, blind bag one each), limited to 150 with web lottery to follow, and will retail for 1,000 yen. All will be available at Tokyo Comic Con Nov. 22nd to 24th.
Tanaka Studio has announced the Godzilla 2001 GMK Resin Kit, their first digital sculpted (ZBrush), 3D printed kit. The unpainted and unassembled kit (in ivory color) will stand approx 30cm once assembled, and retails for 38,000 yen (excluding tax and shipping). It can be pre-ordered from the Tanaka Studio site with release scheduled for April 2020.
The Godzilla Store is releasing the Gigantic Shin Godzilla 4th Form Red Version, it looks to be the same sculpt as the regular version but in red vinyl. The figure stands 47cm tall (approx 18.5 inches) and is 83cm in length (approx 33 inches), it will retail for 49,500 yen (approx $455 US). It can be pre-ordered now with release scheduled for March 2020.
