X-Plus is releasing the Jurassic Park 1/35 Tyrannosaurus Rex Plastic Model Kit, that was shown at Wonder Festival. Two versions will be available regular and limited edition, the regular features the T-rex, fence and scenery, Ian Malcolm, and logo, the limited edition adds Donald Gennaro on a toilet, the T-rex is 38cm in length, and it is 42cm with base, it retails for 6,600 yen for the limited version (6,000 yen on the US site), 6,050 yen for the standard. It can be pre-ordered now from X-Plus and other retailers with release scheduled for July 2023.
X-Plus is releasing the 1/35 Scale Cyclops Glow in the Dark Edition Plastic Model Kit, base on the previous announced non glow kit. This kit stands 24.5cm tall with base (23cm without base), it should retail for approx. $50, and will be released August 2023. It should be available for pre-order from multiple retailers soon.

Ray Harryhausen got his start as an apprentice to the great stop-motion animator Willis O’Brien and the first major film young Ray worked on was Mighty Joe Young (1949). A 12-foot-tall giant gorilla is brought to Hollywood to help the young girl who raised him from a baby earn enough money to save her farm.
This new Star Ace statue features Joe as he fights for his life against wild lions. The soft vinyl statue is 34 cm tall and is sculpted by the renowned artisans at Kaibutsuya, each piece is meticulously hand painted.
The Deluxe version comes with a logo nameplate polyresin base that includes two more lions attacking Joe. The Deluxe version is a worldwide limited edition.
Both the Normal and Deluxe statues are available in two versions – a full color paint-up and one with a monochrome paint scheme, representing the way the scene originally looked in the film.

Star Ace Wonders Of The Wild Elasmotherium Rhino Winter Version Polyresin Statue
Elasmotherium Rhino Winter Version (Brown color/Black color)
An extremely limited new release of the Elasmotherium Rhino will feature snow decoration on the animals and base to recreate these majestic creatures in the cold environment of the last Ice Age.
The Elasmotherium ranged the wide-open plains of Eurasia as recently as 29,000 years ago, making it contemporary with early humans. It was most likely made extinct by the change in climate during the most recent Ice Age.
Elasmotherium was as large as a Wooly Mammoth, measuring from 4 to 5 meters in length and standing over 2 meters tall. It may have had a large horn up to 2 meters long used for defense and digging.
Star Ace presents a new statue sculpted by renowned animal sculptor, Sean Cooper as part of the Wonders of the Wild series. This polyresin prehistoric rhinoceros features two bird companions to help keep the larger animal free of bugs, just as birds do for modern rhinos. The Elasmotherium is attached to a base representing its natural habitat.

Sculpted by renowned animal sculptor, Sean Cooper, this polyresin mammoth statue features this prehistoric creature and child on a base representing her natural habitat.
The Woolly Mammoth or Mammuthus primigenius roamed much of the Northern Hemisphere as recently as 4,000 years ago. Standing approximately 3 meters tall and weighing over six tonnes, this elephant ancestor was an important resource for early humans.
This polyresin statue of the Mammoth is 33cm long and stands 22cm tall. She is depicted with her young calf on a diorama base of a rocky outcropping covered in snow. This all-new sculpt has been painted by the Japanese artisans at X-Plus.

Ray Harryhausen’s Rhedosaurus 2.0
Awakened from its long hibernation by reckless atomic bomb testing, the Rhedosaurus rises from the ocean depths to attack the human population. It is a vicious ancient creature that creates havoc in a modern New York. The monster attacks and crushes a train car in this new version.
Traditionally sculpted by the artisans of the famed creature shop of Kaibutsuya, this detailed Rhedosaurus statue is made from soft vinyl and stands 32cm tall. The diorama base featuring the train car is polyresin. Each piece is hand-painted to bring out the details of the sculpt.
The Rhedosaurus comes in two variants, either in vibrant color or depicted in the monochrome of a black and white movie.
X-Plus was at Super Festival Extra Vol. 6 and revealed some new figures, kits, and more. The display was light on Godzilla/Ultraman items but still had some cool reveals these included a Cyclops bust (second bust revealed after the Kraken bust), Two Horned Cyclops figure, Creature From The Black Lagoon (the kit is based on the sequel), Trog statue (Trog was a creature who appeared in the 1977 fantasy movie Sinbad and the Eye of the Tiger. A cross between a human and ape with a unicorn horn.), King Maimai Larva Stage, and a new version of the Star Ace T-rex a redheaded version. There was also hints at future kits.
There was also a number of current pre-orders on display including Godzilla Ultima, Gamera kit, Jurassic Park T-rex kit, Metropolis Maria Silver Screen Edition kit, and the various Space Cyclops releases.
Wonders Of The Wild Spinosaurus 2.0 Land Version
Star Ace’s “Wonders of the Wild” series has a new version of the Spinosaurus, the largest carnivore of the early Jurassic period. It was like the Tyrannosaurus Rex except for a longer snout and large spine protrusions, indicating that it would have had a large sail-like feature on its back. This version is based on recent discoveries that the Spinosaurus had shorter front arms than previously thought. This dinosaur may have been as long as 15 meters and weigh over 13 tonnes. This version features a new color scheme and depicts the dinosaur on land.
Famed dinosaur sculptor Sean Cooper has re-created this amazing ancient creature based on the fossil evidence. This unique paint job depicts the creature as he may have been on land, after devouring his prey. The polyresin base is habitat diorama featuring the remains of another creature. This polyresin statue has been hand painted by the artisans at Kaibutsuya and is 32 cm long. It is mounted to an environment base with a name plate identifying the scientific name and habitat.
The Deluxe set includes a sculpted replica of the fossil as it was found by paleontologists.

SNAKE WOMAN (NAGA) 30CM SOFT VINYL STATUE WITH CARPET (RAY HARRYHAUSEN)
In mythology the Naga were beings that could be either human, serpent or something in between. Ray Harryhausen created this dancing Snake Woman and her fluid movements are a testament to his mastery of stop-motion puppetry for The Seventh Voyage of Sinbad.
Star Ace has recreated the Harryhausen puppet as a 30cm tall soft vinyl statue, posed in mid-dance with her four snake like arms extended in all directions. The lower snake portion of her body is detailed with realistic snakeskin texture, and she sits on a base that simulates the exotic carpet of the sultan’s palace.
The Deluxe version also comes with a backdrop that represents the walls of the palace to complete the diorama.
