Iron Studios has announced their Icons Series which includes the T-Rex, Velociraptor Blue, and the Compsognathus. Each are smaller less expensive statues, check out the details below.
Inarguably, the world’s most famous dinosaur, originally from North America, there isn’t a dinosaur more iconic than Tyrannosaurus, or simply T-Rex. The “tyrant lizard” became the symbol of Jurassic Park’s franchise, present in all the logos, and having a memorable appearance in every movie. T-Rex is the largest carnivore that lived in Isla Nublar, and, as such, it grew up to become a fearless, bold, and overbearing beast, that walks the line between being a hero and a villain. It’s widely motivated by two goals: to keep intruders out of its territory, and to eat any eavesdropper that it finds. Known for participating in many incidents, and for saving the main human participants surrounded by other dangerous creatures, although inadvertently, playing the role as a kind of antihero in the movies. Iron Studios proudly present their new statue "T-Rex - Jurassic World - Icons". Created by InGen in a project with military purposes, Blue and her sisters Charlie, Delta, and Echo were trained by Owen Grady, but since the incident in Isla Nublar, only Blue, the eldest and the most faithful to Owen of the pack, survived and became apparently the only Velociraptor alive. Capable of expressing emotions, like affection, pain, and empathy, Blue reencountered her old trainer three years after in an apparent rescue mission, on which Owen is betrayed and Blue is hurt, captured, and taken to the continent with other captive dinosaurs for an auction. After her escape, the survivor Blue reappears, and now has a daughter named Beta. Besides the movies, Blue made some special appearances on Netflix TV show "Camp Cretaceous". Iron Studios proudly present their new statue "Velociraptor Blue - Jurassic World - Icons". One of the smallest dinosaurs ever found the Compsognathus lived in the Europe region at the end of the Jurassic period. Introduced in "Jurassic Park 2: Lost World", where a pack attacked the girl Cathy Bowman that was feeding one of the small dinosaurs, happily she survived the attack. Later another pack attacked the hunter Dieter Stark when he got lost in the forest of Isla Sorna, and unfortunately, the hunter didn’t survive. It was revealed in “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom” that a population of Compsognathus survived Isla Nublar, and in “Jurassic World: Dominion”, the Department of Prehistoric Wildlife confirmed a sighting of Compsognathus in Brazil eating garbage, besides their presence in the U.S. and Europe. Iron Studios proudly present their new statue "Compsognathus Jurassic World - Icons". Based on the eponymous novel by Michael Crichton, the awarded filmmaker Steven Spielberg, and Universal Studios astonished the audiences worldwide in 1993 with the premiere of Jurassic Park in the movie theaters. Huge fans of the franchise, maintaining a successful partnership that started in 2017, Iron Studios present their new collection "Jurassic Park-Icons", with miniature statues over stylized pedestals with their logo, that meticulously bring the same realistic details on its anatomy and painting as seen in their larger-scale statues. Besides creating an opportunity for fans and collectors to expand their collection with new replicas of their most beloved Dinosaurs, this new line will bring new collectors, introducing an accessible cost-benefit format, both in price and size, impressing with its richness in detail and standard of excellence and quality that are trademarks of Iron Studios. For the first time attending with their own booth at SDCC 2022, Iron Studios introduced a preview with the prototypes of "Jurassic Park-Icons", with the statues of T-Rex, Velociraptors, and Brachiosaurus, and on the monthly show Inside Iron Studios Day on YouTube, presented the future releases of the line in more detail, making available for Pre-Order the statues T-Rex, Compsognathus and Velociraptor Blue inspired by Jurassic World. Soon many other dinosaurs from Jurassic Park and Jurassic World will come to expand this collection, which has already been approved by fans and collectors that are eagerly waiting for it. Retail prices: T-rex $79.99, Blue $49.99, Compsognathus $49.99. Release date: Q2 2023. Pre-order from Iron Studios, and other retailers. Beast Kingdom is releasing the D-Stage Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom T-Rex statue, and the D-Stage Jurassic World Dominion Blue & Beta statue. These statues are made of plastic (vinyl), feature diorama bases (with the T-Rex's featuring a light up gimmick), stand 12.6cm and 13.4cm tall respectively, with each retail for $44.99. They can be pre-ordered now from multiple retailers with release scheduled for Aug 2023.
