 Kaiyodo has announced three new Mega Soft Vinyl figures from Shin Ultraman, Shin Ultraman Flight Form, Zarab, and Mefilas. Ultraman is 70cm in length, and the other two are 50cm tall, each features a stand, and each retails for 44,000 yen. The can be pre-ordered from Kaiyodo, and other retailers with release scheduled for April 2024 (Ultraman and Zarab), and June 2024 (Melifas).

 Kaiyodo is releasing the Mega Sofvi Shin Ultraman Template Version figure, based on the original design of Shin Ultraman (No. 2 Model). This vinyl figure stands 49.5cm tall, comes with a base, will retail for 44,000 yen, and will be released Nov 2023. It can be pre-ordered now from Kaiyodo (Japan) and other retailers (like Hobby Search for international customers).
  Recently teased by Kaiyodo was a figure of Hiroko Asami from Shin Ultraman, now we have info on its release, it is based on the scene where she becomes giant size transformed by Mefilas. This figure is resin and stands 21cm tall, 23cm with base, and will retail for 88,000 yen (approx. $609 US). Pre-order will be on the Kaiyodo official shop from July 24th to August 25th with the Tsuburaya Store starting pre-orderes two weeks earlier on July 10th. These are Japanese shops so a proxy will most likely be needed to order from the US. 
 Kaiyodo is releasing the Character Classics X-Treme Ultraseven Figure, a larger version of their Character Classics figures. This polyresin figure stands 41cm tall, features light up eyes and forehead, removeable Eye Slugger, and base, and it will retail for 132,000 yen. It will be available for pre-order starting Dec 26th from a number of shops with release scheduled for June 2023.
  Kaiyodo is releasing the Mega Soft Vinyl Kit Shin Ultraman and Neronga kits, large scale kits. These unpainted and unassembled kits are 10 parts and 21 parts respectively, Ultraman stands 39cm once assembled, and Neronga stands 17.4cm once assembled, and they retail for 16,500 yen each. They can be pre-ordered from a number of retailers with release scheduled for Sept 2022. 
 The Tsuburaya Store is releasing exclusive color versions of the Kaiyodo Monster Head Gomess and Kanegon busts. These bust feature a monochrome coloring, are sculpted by RYO (Nendo Seijin), stand 20cm tall, with each retailing for 7,480 yen, these will be made to order with pre-ordered scheduled to end May 31st. Release is scheduled for Sept 2022. 
 Kaiyodo is releasing the Shin Ultraman Character Classics Statue, this resin statue stands 27cm tall (not counting base), features light up eyes, base, and retails for 76,780 yen. It can be pre-ordered now from Kaiyodo, Amazon, and other retailers with release scheduled for June 2022.
 Kaiyodo is releasing the Capsule Q Characters Shin Ultraman figures, small but very detailed figures. These assortment includes Gabora (open head), Ultraman and Gabora (closed head), and Neronga, they are approx. 6cm in size, and will retail for 500 yen each from capsule machines, but can also be purchase from retailers as well. They will be available May 2022.
  Kaiyodo is re-releasing the Komori Project Neronga Soft Vinyl Assembly Kit, a kit released some time back and that has also been released as a resin kit by Ken Elephant. This figure is designed by Yoichi Komori with the sculpt by Takashi Yamawaki (T's Facto), it is 35cm in length (larger than the resin version), there are 14 pieces to this unassembled, unpainted kit, and it retails for 15,180 yen. It can be purchased from the Kaiyodo website, and possibly other retailers with release later this month.
 Kaiyodo is releasing the Kaiju Step Wandabada Strap Figures, these chibi style figures are based on the anime Kaiju Step Wandabada. There are 5 styles available Pig-chan, Kane-chan, Dada-chan, Miku-chan, and Joe-chan, they are approx. 3 to 4cm tall, and a set of six (one duplicate) retails for 1,980 yen. They are available from Amazon Japan with release scheduled for Dec 2021.  |
