Medicom has revealed their MAFEX Shin Ultraman figure, which was teased a while back. This figure stands 16cm tall, features five different posed sets of hands, a figure stand, and retails for 6,000 yen (all very similar to the Bandai Figuarts version). It should be available for pre-order soon on retail sites with release scheduled for July 2021.

Medicom has announced a number of very unique figures, there is Morris The Cat as various Ultra characters, Kae-chan as Mirrorman, and Hideaki Anno as Ultraman from a college short film. The Morris The Cat figures are Ultraman, Ultra Seven, Eleking, Booska, and Chamegon, they are 6cm tall, and retail for 4,550 yen. Kae-chan as Mirrorman stands 14.5cm tall, and retails for 6,000 yen. Hideaki Anno as Ultraman based on a college parody film made in 1983, and shown at Daicon Films stands 14.5cm tall, is glow in the dark, will retail for 10,800 yen and is a Bear Model/Bullmark collaboration (actual video below). These are all Pop-Up Store releases at various locations in Japan, and release in Sept 2020.
Medicom is releasing the Super Extra Large Ultraman (Fukumi specification) figure, based on the Bear Model figure, as a Winter Wonder Festival exclusive. This figure stands 70cm tall (approx 27.5 inches), will be limited to 20, and retail for 58,000 yen (approx $530 US). Winter Wonder Festival is Feb 9th at Makuhari Messe, in Tokyo.
Medicom has announced the exclusive Project 1/6 Ultraman A BearBrick set, it includes 100% and 400% versions (7cm and 28cm tall versions). The set will retail for 12,000 yen, and it will be released in Feb 2020 from the Project 1/6 store here.
Medicom is releasing (re-releasing) versions of Ultraman and Booska as Morris the Cat with Antlers, a creation of Japanese artist Kaori Hinata. Ultra Morris and Booska Morris each stand 13cm tall and retail for 11,500 yen (approx $117 US) for the set. They will be sold via lottery from Medicom or from Rakuten for overseas markets, they will ship late September.
Medicom is releasing the Bearbrick Ultraman Jack and Ultraman Zoffy two figure set. The two figure stand 7cm tall and will retail for 3,000 yen (approx $27 US). They can be preordered now from Medicom and other retailers with release scheduled for May 2019.
Medicom is releasing two Be@rbrick 400% Ultraman figures, Ultraman and Ultra Seven. These look the same as the previous Ultraman figures we posted but these are Be@rbrick 400% figures which stand 28cm tall instead of 7cm of the previous ones. Both are Project 1/6 exclusives(?), and retail for 8,800 yen, they are scheduled for a Dec 2018.
Medicom is releasing two figures as Ultraman Store (pop up store) exclusives, Skeleton Baltan (luminescence) and Skeleton Antlar (Black). Baltan is a glow in the dark figure, Antlar is black, both feature a skeleton head under their regular one. Both stand 25cm tall and retail for 13,704 yen, they will be available at the Ultraman store (Seibu Shibuya branch B 5th floor) Nov 3th.
Medicom is releasing a couple of new Ultraman figures, the Marmit Megaton Zetton and the Ultraman metallic color. Megaton Zetton stands a gigantic 60cm tall (nearly two feet!), features clear vinyl on the head and chest areas, and retails for 27,000 yen. Ultraman is a stylized version (wrestler like costume), features a metallic paint scheme, stands 27cm tall, and retails for 8,981 yen. Both can be pre-ordered from Medicom and other retailers, with release scheduled for Jan 2019.
