Tsuburaya Con 2019 has begun and as with many conventions there's a ton of new figures, be a Tsuburaya convention this means tons of Ultraman figures. Figures from X-Plus, Bandai/Banpresto, Aquamarine, Evolution Toy, Kaiyodo, EDFSB, and more. These include standard style resin and vinyl, deformed style, kits, dioramas, and other merchandise. Bandai/Tamashii is releasing the S.H. Figuarts Ultraman Tregear figure the Evil Ultraman. This figure stands 15cm tall and comes with extra hands and a effects piece as wellas an effects piece for Ultraman Taiga. It can be pre-ordered now from the Tamashii web shop with release scheduled for May 2020.

X-Plus will have an exclusive figure at Tsuburaya Wonder Festival 2019 (Tsuburaya Con), Large Monster Series Booska Green Version. This figure was originally released in 2011 (different color),is 22cm tall, will be limited to 25 (web lottery after the event), and will retail for 8,000 yen. Tsuburaya Wonder Festival 2019 is this weekend Dec 14 & 15 in Tokyo.

X-Plus is releasing the Large Monster Series Doragory Luminous Version, a release of the same figure released in Sept 2017 but with a light up feature for his eyes. This figure stands 26cm tall and will retail for 16,500 yen, it is available for pre-ordered now with release scheduled for Mar 2020.

Good Smile is releasing the Gigan-Techs Gridman Primal Fighter Figure, a large (gigantic) fully articulated figure. This figure stands 30cm tall (twice the size of normal figures), it is sculpted Ryu Saka (Dragon Studio), it features an LED light up function, and will retail for 15,909 yen. It can be pre-ordered from Good Smile (and possibly other retailers), with release scheduled for May 2020.

Bandai Hobby has announced two new Figure-Rise Standard kits, 1/12 Scale Ultraman Suit Tiga and Ultraman B Type Limiter Release Version. Both come with multiple effects parts, led units for light up features, and stands for display. Tiga will retail for 5,280 yen, and B Type for 5,500 yen, both can be pre-ordered now from multiple retailers with release scheduled for Feb 2020.

X-Plus has officially announced the Gigantic Series Ultraman Ace, which was shown only a few days ago at the Miyazawa Model Exhibition Autumn 2019. Ace stands approx 50cm tall (approx 20 inches), the Ric features light up eyes, color timer and forehead jewel, and it will retail for 21,780 yen (Ric, 19,800 yen for the standard). It can be pre-ordered now from X-Plus (Ric) and other retailers (standard), with release scheduled for Feb 2020.

Bandai Gashapon is releasing a new set of Ultraman HG (High Grade) figures, Ultraman 01, they included Ultraman Taiga, Ultraman Tiga, Evil Tiga, and Zetton. These figures are approx 3.5 inches tall and will retail for 400 yen each. They will be available the end of this month, November, and will be found at stores in Japan.

Mitsurin Studios will be releasing the JUNGLE Hikari Giant Series Ultraman Tiga figure at Tsuburaya Con 2019. This PVC figure stands 54cm tall (1/100 scale, approx 21 inches), it appears to have a light up feature for eyes and color timer (or at least can have a light shining through it), and will retail for 25,000 yen. It will be available in limited quantities at Tsuburaya Con to be held at the Tokyo Dome  on December 14 (Sat) and 15 (Sun), 2019.

Threezero has both announced a new figure line and the first figure for that line, the ThreezeroX Ryu Oyama Dark Baltan 1/6 Scale figure. For the new line Threezero will release high-end products collaborated with various artists,  with this the first one by Ryu Oyama and is incredibly detailed. This figure stands 36cm tall (approx  14 inches), has 47 points of articulation, an led light up feature, and multiple replacement hands. It can be pre-ordered from Threezero, as well as Ken Elephant, retail on the Threezero site is $298 US (slightly higher on Ken Elephant), release is scheduled for second quarter 2020.
