Amazon Japan will have a exclusive version of Shin Godzilla featuring a Steelbook case for both the 4K and 3 Disc Blu-ray Sets. It seems from the listing there isn't any difference in the content, 3 or 4 Blu-ray discs, promo sheets, ticket holders, etc. From the image is a sample it does appear to have images on the in and outside, and shows that it can hold 4 discs so it is possible it's the same case for both. Of note it does state that it is region free which means US fans can purchase and play the movie. It will retail for 10,584 yen (approx $90 US) for the 4K, and 8,424 yen (approx $72 US) for the 3 Disc Blu-ray.

7 Eleven Japan is having a promo with the release of Shin Godzilla, the Shin Godzilla/Seven Net Limited Mechagodzilla No. 2 Machine Ver. Set. The set include the same Blu-ray/DVD's that we previously showed but instead of the ticket for the S.H. MonsterArts special figure the set includes a Godvilla Vs Evangelion MechaGodzilla figure. The figure is a repainted version of the Bandai Movie Monster series figure (6 inches we believe). Prices are about 2,000 yen (approx $17 US) over just the movie by itself (but less then the price of the S.H. MonsterArts figure plus the movie). It can be pre-odered from the Japanese 7 Eleven site with the same March 22 release.

His worst nightmare comes to life when a massive, gilled monster emerges from the deep and begins tearing through the city, leaving nothing but destruction in its wake. As the government scrambles to save the citizens, a rag-tag team of volunteers cuts through a web of red tape to uncover the monster’s weakness and its mysterious ties to a foreign superpower.
