The Godzilla Store is releasing the Godzilla Tsumamare Key Chains from Cospa. These rubber character key chains feature Godzilla '65, Mothra '92, Ghidorah '91, and Mechagodzilla '75 pinched (as if they were tiny and you picked them up), they come with either a key chain or strap attachment. Each retail for 660 yen and all can be pre-ordered now with release scheduled for June 2020.

The Godzilla Store is releasing the limited edition Shin Godzilla Jinpei, a traditional Japanese summer time clothing item. It features the Japan Vs Godzilla logo on the front of the top and an image of Shin Godzilla on the back, it comes in sizes M, L, XL, and retails for 8,580 yen. It can be pre-ordered now with release scheduled for late April.

All volumes are published by Dai Nippon Printing, read from left to right, each volume is 36 pages long and printed on A4 size paper. They are distributed by the Godzilla Store and cover the conceptualization and production aspects of kaiju from Toho's library of films, with each volume focusing on a different character.
These volumes cover Frankenstein from Frankenstein Vs. Baragon (1965, Vol.47), and Matango from Matango (1963, Vol.48).

Happy Monday, everyone. We hope you're doing well and that you're staying safe and healthy. Tomorrow we're excited to continue our GODZILLA collection with new posters from Attack Peter, Robert Sammelin, and Eric Powell, as well as new t-shirts by Becky Cloonan and Attack Peter! 

We first came across Peter Santa-Maria (Attack Peter) about one year ago and were blown away by his work. He is a printmaker who focuses on hand-carved linocut prints on Lokta paper (handmade paper imported from Nepal) that he prints himself - and they're awesome. Godzilla seemed like a no brainer for our first projects with Peter, and we're super happy with the result. In total we worked on three "Godzilla vs" posters for this collection, with the first release being for the Shōwa era's GODZILLA VS THE THING, also known as MOTHRA VS GODZILLA.

Next up we have Robert Sammelin's posters for the excellent SHIN GODZILLA. Released in 2016 and the first film in the Reiwa era, this modern Godzilla film is an amazing return to form. Robert absolutely crushed the illustration on this poster, rendering everything traditionally in ink on paper. The Japanese language variant poster features glow in the dark inks on those awesome atomic rays that come out from between G's dorsal fins. Just unreal. ​

Eric Powell has stepped in to deliver a haunting poster for the original GODZILLA film. Presented mostly in silhouette, Eric's artwork is a beautiful and classic celebration of the original King of the Monsters and his massive scale, as well as devastating destruction that is often left in his wake. ​

Alongside these posters, we are excited to offer two new t-shirt designs. First up is Becky Cloonan's RODAN, a follow up to her Gigan t-shirt design from last year's Toho apparel collection. Cloonan's love for kaiju is undeniable when you see the amount of detail she places in these designs, down to the repeating halftone aesthetics from the last shirt and the nod to Rodan's alias. We are also thrilled to have had the opportunity to transform Attack Peter's art for GODZILLA VS MOTHRA for this stellar t-shirt. A copy of his linocut poster was scanned and modified to print for apparel, retaining the amazing textures found in his original hand-carved plates. A welcome addition to the Toho collection!​

The Godzilla Store is releasing a Godzilla Fin Ring, Godzilla Tail Bangle, and two styles of key holders. All the items were released previously from Bandai so this is a great second opportunity for fans to get them if they missed out. The ring is a Godzilla Fin ring (meant to be worn on whole finger), is silver, comes in four sizes, and retails for 16,500 yen. The Godzilla 65th Anniversary Tail Bangle is made of white brass with a painted finish to give detail, is one size, and retails for 27,500 yen. The key chains are also a shoe horn, they are leather and brass/plated, featureing a Godzilla 65th anniversary logo/foot logo, and retails for 7,150 yen. Slow Curve is releasing the ​Godzilla Battle - Monster Card Showdown! Card Game, a simple strategy card game. The game is for two players, with a play time of approx 5 minutes, 48 cards (4 monster cards, 4 technique tables, 40 skill cards (monsters have 10 techniques each)), and a retail price of 2,300 yen. It can be purchased now from Amazon Japan and other retailers.

Unfortunately Playmates booth was closed to press and pics but they did have an awesome six plus foot tall Godzilla statue per the rep it weighs in at over 900 pounds and came in two parts.

Bandai's big Godzilla was a show stopper to rivel Playmate's but Bandai had figures on display. The issue was there wasn't anything new, they did have the S.H. MonsterArts Burning Godzilla 2019 on display as well as a regular Godzilla 2019 and S.H. Figuarts Ultraman figures as well as Chodo Hero's Ultraman figures releasing June.

Monogram had a few reveals, and the one bright spot in the Godzilla Vs. Kong void. Their Series 2 Classic Godzilla bag clips were on display, as well as a placeholder for, you guess it, Godzilla Vs. Kong, there was also a placeholder for Ultraman bag clips. No info on those clips was given as for as characters and release. Also on display was their Cute Godzilla Bank, Classic Godzilla Bank and a Ultraman Bank as well, no release date for that one.

NECA may have had one of the bigger reveals two new Godzilla figures, Godzilla 1989, and Godzilla 2003. Both like all the current releases will have movie poster packaging. See our post with the official pics and info from NECA. Also on display was the soon to be released Mothra poster version. On the Kidrobot side was new Phunny plushes, King Ghidorah and King Kong, of note Kong is not the Monsterverse version and will not come with the banana costume that the early solicits stated. Also on display was the 8 inch Art vinyls, with four versions of Godzilla classic version with translucent fins, one with glow in the dark fins, two gold versions one matte gold, one shiny gold. Also there was the Mechagodzilla battle worn version. Also there was the Bhunny Godzilla figure, a new line that's a cross between the previous figures and a Funko POP, Godzilla is a Loot Crate exclusive there was a Mechagodzilla on the package back but they were not sure if it will also be a Loot Crate exclusive. Each comes with a lucky "paw".

Chronicle Collectibles revealed there new 1/12 scale Jurassic Park/World figures, they included Owen, Ian Malcolm, Dr. Grant, a Raptor, and Blue. These look to be articulated figures with the human characters featuring cloth clothing. No release date on these.

Diamond had a few items all previously announced Godzilla Gallery Rodan 1993, and Godzilla 1993 Dioramas, and the three new Vinimates. Both dioramas look as good as the released Godzilla 1991, also of note they stated that they are finalizing Ghidorah that goes with Godzilla 1991 since it is actual based on the poster from that film and supposed to "wrap" around him. Also probably no Mechagodzilla to go with the 1993s.
