S.H. MonsterArts is releasing the Destoroyah Special Color Version, this figure has a slightly different color tone then the original version (more muted coloring). It comes with 4 mazer tanks and 4 mazer guns, it's 250mm tall (approx 10 inches), will retail for 15,120 yen (approx $149 US), and will be released in Feb 2017. It is available for pre-order from the Bandai Premium site.

X-Plus/Bandai Premium are releasing the Godzilla vs. Evangelion Toho 30cm Series Evangelion Unit 2 Beast "G" figure, shown just a couple of days ago at C3 Tokyo 2016. The official hi-res pics show the figure and all it's details. Release info is pretty much the same as we posted previously, retail will be 32,400 yen with release in Feb 2017, we now also know the size, 30cm tall and 38cm long. Pre-orders start now from the Bandai Premium site and it may also be available from the Ric Boy site too.

Albatross Japan teased recently that they would release a Shin Godzilla figure, at C3 Tokyo 2016 they surprise everyone by revealing not only a Shin Godzilla figure but it's two early forms. All three figures are unpainted prototypes but what is interesting is the size difference of the three, each larger than the next. Bandai has released these and S.H. MonsterArts versions were revealed in a magazine spread but theirs were fairly close in size to each other. The Albatross Japan ones are very different in size, possibly more accurate to their size in the film. There isn't much more info on them yet but we will update it once we have it.

​CCP revealed more info on their upcoming Godzilla figures as well as two lottery items. Desugoji, Miregoji, Burning Godzilla, Biogoji, Hedorah, and Gigan are all apparently coming in the line (the pic above shows some of these). Also shown were lottery items of the two figures (Godzilla '54, and Godzilla '64 with Mothra Larva) we posted previously here, the lottery items, 3500 yen cost, are limited to 200 pieces and are colored differently then the regular ones, "Godzilla Blue" as well as what looks like a brownish/silvery color. Update: they are 12.5cm tall and will be released in Dec 2016.

X-Plus has a booth at C3 Tokyo 2016 which they showed off there many figure but also made a couple of reveals, one updated and one new. The updated one is the second Godzilla/Evangelion figure this was previously shown as an unpainted prototype now they revealed the fully painted version, also reveal is it's release date and price, Feb 2017 and 32,400 yen (approx $318  US) respectively. This is the same price as the first combo figure that was shown and most likely will be a Bandai Premium release as well.  The second reveal was a Shin Godzilla "Roaring" version, there has been a regular version shown previously so it's possible this could be a Ric Boy exclusive or another Bandai Premium figure. Also shown was a number of the other Godzilla Vs Evangelion figures.  More info on the new reveals as we get it. 

Kaiyodo is releasing the Yuji Sakai Godzilla '89 1/80 Soft Vinyl Kit, this kit once assembled will stand 100cm tall and 150cm in length (that 40 inches tall and 60 inches in length). The kit is colored but needs to be painted to look like the pics. This massive kit has a massive price it will retail for 140,000 yen (approx $1,400 US). It will be released in Jan 2017 from Hobby Search and other retailers. 

X-Plus is releasing a GFW Gigan 2004 Start-Up Version figure, while X-Plus previously released a version of this figure (currently a Diamond US re-release) this version has two main differences, a "worn" or "dirty" paint scheme and light-up eye(s). This figure is 33cm tall and will retail for 20,000 yen (approx $200 US). This figure is scheduled for a Dec 2016 release from X-Plus.

A magazine spread has revealed that S.H. MonsterArts is releasing figures of Shin Godzilla 2nd and 3rd forms. While the coloring is similar to the Bandai releases the figures look much more detailed No word on price or release dates, but we will update which available.
