Medicom is releasing the Godzilla Vinyl Wars EX Battra Larva figure. This figure is 23cm long (approx 9 inches) and it will retail for 6,000 yen (approx $54 US). It can be pre-ordered now from multiple retailers with release in July 2017.

Tamashii is releasing the S.H. MonsterArts Mothra Special Color Set, it feature both the adult and larva versions of Mothra. Mothra (adult) features a night time paint scheme, and the larva has a "wet" look based on the water scenes in the film. It comes with a antenna beam effect and flight base for the adult Mothra. The adult Mothra has a 35cm wingspan (approx 14 inches) and the larva is 17cm in length (approx 7 inches). The set retails for 10,800 yen (approx $97 US) and it is a Tamashii Web Shop exclusive. It can be pre-ordered now with release in August 2017.

Bandai is releasing four new Shin Godzilla Movie Monster Series figures, the Shin Godzilla Climax Version (based on the final battle in the film), and a three piece Shin Godzilla Form Change set. All are new sculpts or repainted versions, the Climax version features a roaring head and clear fins to create a glow effect (we are pretty sure it does not light up), the set features the 2nd and 3rd forms as well as the "frozen" version from the end of the film with the tail creatures. The Climax version stands 17cm tall (approx 6.5 inches), and will retail for 2,700 yen (approx $24 US). The set are 9.5cm, 13cm, and 16.5cm tall respectively, and will retail for 8,100 yen (approx $73 US). All can be pre-ordered from the Bandai Premium site till June 19th with release in Sept 2017.

These figures, as we posted previously about, are Godzilla Store exclusives to go with the release of Shin Godzilla on Blu-ray and DVD in Japan. The figures are purchased separately with a ticket enclosed in the Blu-ray/DVD (the figures can not be purchase by themselves without the ticket). There are three choices Shin Godzilla 4th form, Shin Godzilla 2nd & 3rd form set, or all three figures together. The figure are the same ones previously release but with a bronze/bone color. Prices are 12,960 yen, 9,180 yen, and 22,140 yen respectively. They can be pre-ordered now through May 18th with release in Oct 2017.

The Art Spirits Shin Godzilla vinyl figure stands 30cm tall (approx 12 inches), and comes with two heads, while both are roaring heads one features the split jaw the other does not, and a name plate. The figure will retail for 20,000 yen (approx $176 US) and can be pre-ordered now with release in June from AmiAmi, Hobby Search, and other retailers.

Gowrow is releasing an Armored Mothra kit, this resin kit sculpted by Ko Secto, is 4 pieces plus base with a wingspan of 28cm (approx 11 inches). This kit will retail for 10,000 yen (approx $88 US). It can be ordered from the Gowrow site here.

Marusan is releasing a number of figures as part of their March Godzilla figure line-up. There are two Gigan figures a standing version and a flying version, both are 24cm in size with the standing version retailing for 8,640 yen and the flying for 7,560 yen. There's a red bronze Hedorah, and a blue red bronze Godzilla '64  standing 23cm and retailing for 10,800 yen each. There are a Giant Gorilla (Kong) and blue Classic Godzilla both 30cm tall and retailing for 17,280 yen. Finally there is the Black Object Godzilla '73 and Mogera '57 both standing 23cm tall and retailing for 6,480 yen. All should be released May/June from Marusan and other retailers.

X-Plus has been teasing us with Kaiser Ghidorah and Gabara now we have the full reveal and info. Kaiser Ghidorah stands 33cm tall and 45cm wide (wing to wing, approx 13 inches/18 inches), the Ric version features light up eyes on all three heads. Retail for the Ric is 28,080 yen (approx $250 US). Gabara stands 23cm tall (approx 9 inches), and the Ric version comes with Minya (15cm tall). Retail for the Ric is 16,200 yen (approx $144 US). Both are scheduled for a May release and can be pre-ordered now from X-Plus (non-Ric version should be available from other retailers).

Diamond announce at Toy Fair 2017 that they were reissuing 7 X-Plus figures now we have info on four of these via John/Kaiju Addicts. Godzilla '54 Train Biter, Battra Larva, Mechagodzilla '75,  are scheduled for released August 2017 and have a retail price of $180. The Yuji Sakai Godzilla '92 is scheduled for release Sept 2017 and has a retail price of $230. These can be pre-ordered now from Flossie's Collectibles as well as other retailers.
