Tamashii is releasing the S.H. MonsterArts Godzilla Jr Special Color version, the coloring is based on the fighting scene with the Destroyah Aggregate. It stands 11cm tall (approx 4.3 inches) and comes with a ray effect and stand. It can be pre-ordered now from the Tamashii Web Shop (exclusive) with release in Nov 2017, it retails for 5,616 yen (approx $51 US).

Fujimi is releasing another kit in their Godzilla line the Chibi Maru King Ghidorah. While only pics of an unpainted prototype was shown the final kit will be molded in color (shining gold). It is a snap together kit that features multiple points of articulation. More info as we get it.
Update: this kit will retail for 4,860 yen (approx $44 US) and will be released in Sept 2017, it is available for pre-ordered from AmiAmi, Hobby Search, and other retailers.

X-Plus is releasing the Toho 30cm Series Godzilla 1975 this figure stands 30cm tall and the Ric version comes with an extra arm to hold a Mechagodzilla head. There was a similar figure released in the Large Monster Series in a slightly different pose and coloring. This figure will retail for 19,980 yen (approx $179 US) for the Ric, the standard will be slightly less expensive. Pre-orders start now with release in Sept 2017.

Bandai is releasing the a vinyl figure of Gaira, the Green Gargantua. This figure stands 18cm tall (approx 7 inches) and will retail for 3,999 yen (approx $36 US). This figure will be released Sept 2017 and is a Bandai Premium exclusive, despite there being an image on their site of the figures hanging on what appears to be a retail display. More info on that if it changes, and hopefully a future Brown Gargantua Sanda release.

Tamashii/Bandai has officially announced and revealed the S.H. MonsterArts Showa Mechagodzilla figure. They posted it on there blog along with box art for the Mechagodzilla and Godzilla Poster Versions (image at below). Not much info was given other than to say full details would be coming soon, more info as we get it.
Update: the figure will be 9,720 yen (approx $88 US), and will be released Jan 2018. Info comes via a magazine scan (at bottom) but should be updated on the Tamashii website soon.

Bandai is reissuing three 30cm Series Godzilla Vs. Evangelion figures, both of the Kiryu/Mechagodzilla Eva Color Versions and the Evangelion First Unit "G" Awaking Figure. All three which were released in a promotion for Shin Godzilla can be pre-ordered now with release in August 2017. check out our original posts here and here. All details and specs are the same as the first releases, and absent from the reissue is the Evangelion Unit 2 Beast "G" figure (possible not as popular as the others). All three can be ordered from the Bandai Premium site and the Evangelion Store as well.

Marusan revealed their June Godzilla figure announcements that will be released in August/Sept, they are Milky Glow Godzilla 350 and Tower, Milky Glow Hedorah '71 Final Form and Tadpole versions, Godzilla and Minya Metarica Metallic figure set, and Godzilla 450 Hong Kong Appearance Color. The Milky Glow figures are luminescent pink and light blue figures with two versions of each (in each color) all are sold separately. Godzilla is 22cm tall and retail for 5,400 yen, the Tower is 30cm tall and retail for 4,320 yen. Hedorah Final Form is 24cm tall and retail 6,480, and the tadpole form is 14cm in length and retails for 3,240 yen. The Godzilla And Minya Metarica set (so name cause they are based on Godzilla's apprearance in the US in Destroy All Monsters) feature a metallic paint scheme Godzilla stands 23cm tall, Minya 17cm tall and the set retails for 12,960 yen. The Godzilla 450 is molded in translusent vinyl with a paint scheme that is suppose to reflect Godzilla's appearance in Hong Kong in Godzilla Vs Destroyah. It stands 30cm tall and retails for 17,280 yen. They can be pre-ordered from Marusan and may be available from other retailers as well.

X-Plus is releasing the Toho Special Effects Museum Godzilla & Mothra '64 Limited Set, these figures are smaller than the regular figures X-Plus releases but still very detailed. Godzilla stands 10cm tall and 15cm in length (approx 4 and 6 inches respectively), Mothra is 12.5 cm tall (with base) and has a wingspan of 30.5cm (approx 5 and 12 inches respectively). The set will retail for 9,800 yen (approx $89 US), pre-orders start now with release in Sept 2017 from both the X-Plus Shounen Ric site and Bandai Premium site.

X-Plus is releasing the Large Monster Series Godzilla '71 Showdown Version and the 30cm Series Godzilla '91 Yuji Sakai Shinjuku Version Luminescence Version Ric Boys. The Godzilla '71 was released previously but this one features a different color scheme (darker color with silver fins), the Ric comes with two sets of arms and a damaged eye. It stands 23cm tall and will retail for 14,040 yen (approx $126 US). The Godzilla '91 is a different pose from the previously released '91, the Ric features light up fins. It stands 27cm tall and will retail for 28,620 yen (approx $258 US). Both can be pre-ordered from X-Plus now with release in August 2017, standard versions should be available from general retailers.
