Yesterday we posted the standard version of this figure now X-Plus has revealed the Ric version, Gigantic Series Shin Godzilla (2016) Fourth Form Shonen Rick Limited Edition First Order Acquisition. The end of the name suggest there is a limited number being made (although they suggest the highest volume) and we can assume based on demand there may be a second release. Most of the specs are basically the same for the the non roaring head 47cm tall and 83cm in length, with retail price of 73,440 yen (recent figures do not seem to have a price difference between the Ric and standard except for third party retailer discounts). It's the additional roaring head that changes the specs making it 49cm tall and 86cm in length, this figure also features a different paint scheme including purple to reflect launching high-power heat rays. X-Plus seems to suggest the figures paint is luminescence, more info on that as we get it. Pre-orders start July 14 and go thru August 8 with release in Oct 2017.

The X-Plus Gigantic Series Shin Godzilla has been revealed fully paint surprisingly from the Hobby Search website not from the Ric site. The figure stands 47cm tall (approx 18.5 inches) and is 83cm in length (approx 33 inches), so he is definitely a big boy like his Gigantic series buddies. Price is 73,440 yen (before discount 64,600 after (approx $650/$570 US). This is the standard version and while there is no word on the Ric yet we believe it will have the roaring head at least (based on what was shown at Winter Wonder Festival) and possible different paint/light up gimmick. It can be pre-ordered now with release in Sept 2017. We will update with the Ric version once revealed.
