Marusan will be having a Godzilla 70th Anniversary Version Toho Monster Lucky Bag at Tokusatsu DNA "70 Years of Special Effects Films - It Started with Godzilla". The lucky bag features numerous Godzilla figures including Hawaiian Color Godzillas (note images are just some of the figures), the figures are new and others released in 2024, they stand 20 to 23cm tall, and retail for 16,500 yen. Tokusatsu DNA is Friday, July 12, 2024 to Sunday, September 8, 2024 at Santo Museo Ueda City Museum of Art.

Update, Marusan has added a special Hedorah figure (bottom) into the mix of the lucky bag, a very limited Hedorah 450 Mixed In Version limited to three pieces. This figure is pink and yellow vinyl, and per the description you can remove the head and see the inside of Hedorah. 

Mandarake is holding the 7th Creative Soft Vinyl Rally at Akihabara UDX 2nd floor Akiba Square and is releasing Limited Edition Hedorah figures. The Naozumi Masuko Hedorah Sales & Talk Show Giant Hedorah 1st Period figure, it is yellow clear vinyl with multi colored spray, it stands 31cm tall and retails for 49,500 yen. The Naozumi Masuko Hedorah Sales & Talk Show "It's a nice bath Hedorah" figure, it is suppose to represent a shake with glass, Hedorah "contents", and straw, it comes in three color schemes, two solid and one clear vinyl, it's 15cm tall, and retails for 9,900 yen. All are design by Naozumi Masuko, are lottery items (Japan only). The event takes place on August 9th at ​Akihabara UDX 2nd floor Akiba Square, Tokyo.

Marusan has announced lottery figures for their Pop-Up Shop in Asakusa. Shin Godzilla 4th Form 350 and 60mm Kaiju Encyclopedia 2024 Summer Version, Shin is clear pink vinyl, is 28cm tall, and retails for 22,000 yen. The others are 6cm tall, and retails for 1,200 yen each, the lottery deadline July 15th. The lottery can be entered via the Marusan Instagram page or by emailing your name, address, and phone number to Marusan with the subject line "POP-UP Asakusa 7/20".

X-Plus has announced they will be at Wonder Festival July 28th, and as usual they will have exclusives with a few surprises. There are two figure exclusives, the Toho 30cm Series Yuji Sakai Modeling Collection Godzilla (1992) Attack On Tanzawa Soft Vinyl Assembly Kit (based on the previously released figure), it is solid and clear vinyl, retails for 12,000 yen, and the Toho Maniacs Mysterian (Regular Combatant) that will retail for 7,000 yen, both will be limited to 100 at the show, and 100 on the Ric site afterwards. The merchandise includes the Boys Backpack (Ric Boy), that was teased as an April Fools joke but due to popularity X-Plus decided to make it, it is 45cm tall, 32cm wide, and 20cm deep, with a PC pocket the is 32cm tall by 28cm wide, it retails for 7,000 yen and is limited to 50 pieces (no after show sale). The other items are the Shonen Rick Novelty Gacha (Gashapon) which includes six items plus a secret one, they are ​Large Monster Series Acrylic Logo Block, DefoReal Acrylic Logo Block Real, Master Collection Acrylic Logo Block, Shonen Rick Rubber Coin Case, Shonen Rick Rubber Strap & Sticker Set, and Shonen Rick Pass Case, they will be available in a Gashapon machine at the event for 500 yen each (no images of these items were available). Wonder Festival is July 28th, 2024 at ​Makuhari Messe International Exhibition Hall.

Banpresto has officially announced the Ichiban Kuji Godzilla 70th Anniversary Prize Items. The items include A Prize Godzilla (1954) SOFVICS Appearing At The National Diet Building Ver., B Prize Gojira (2023) Figure (Odo Island Ver., approx. 9cm tall), C Prize Historical Poster Collection, D Prize ACLLECT - Godzilla Vol.1 -, E Prize Monster Head Magnet, Last One Prize Godzilla (2023) SOFVICS Negative Color Ver. (Minus Color), and Double Chance Campaign Godzilla (1954) SOFVICS Appearing At The National Diet Building Ver.. The 1954 and 2023 Minus Color are 23cm tall, the lottery is 900 yen and will be available at bookstores, hobby shops, some game centers, Ichiban Kuji official shops, etc., and the items will release in Nov 2024. Like some previous prize items some of these will probably be available through other retailers.

Tanaka Studio has announced the Godzilla 1991 20 Line Garage Kit, based on the Spiral Studio but scale down to 20cm, and King Ghidorah is coming in the future to go with it. This unassembled, unpainted kit is approx. 20cm tall, is molding in ivory resin with the base included, is 40 pieces, and retails for 38,500 yen. It can be purchased from the Tanaka Studio website with shipping in two to three days after purchase.

US Toys is releasing Pocket Mini Soft Vinyl Building Box Monster Series figures at Tokusatsu DNA as it celebrates "70 Years of Special Effects Films - It Started With Godzilla". The figures include Godzilla '54,'62, '64, and '89, Gigan, Mechagodzilla, Hedorah, and both standing and crawling Baragons, they are both clear and metallic styles depending on the figure, are approx. 8.5cm in size, and retail for 4,500 yen. Tokusatsu DNA runs from Friday, July 12, 2024 to Sunday, September 8, 2024 at the Santo Museo Ueda City Museum.

Tanaka Studio has announced the Godzilla 1984 30cm Garage Kit, based on the suit from the Shinjuku Battle (suit 2) and celebrating the film's 40th Anniversary. This unassembled, unpainted kit is approx. 30cm tall, is molding in ivory resin with there being eye detail in the mold, is 41 pieces, and retails for 60,500 yen. It can be purchased from the Tanaka Studio website with shipping in two to three days after purchase.

Godzilla The Art By Parco Vol.3​ has been announced and like with previous events there are exclusive figures, check them out below. There are other items available but all are Japan only (but third party resellers may have these.) Godzilla The Art By Parco Vol.3​ is July 5th to July 21st at Gallery X by Parco.

The Godzilla prototype was created to consider the shape of Godzilla that would appear in the first Godzilla film in the series, Godzilla (1954). At the design consideration stage, the body was designed to be covered in scales, which was different from the Godzilla we know today. The Godzilla prototype is truly the origin of Godzilla.

The Godzilla Store (Japan) has announced the Desktop Monster Godzilla Mobile Stands, which are meant to hold your mobile phone. There's two styles each with two variations, Heisei Godzilla and Burning Godzilla, and Godzilla Minus One in regular and Heat Ray versions, they are 16.5/17cm tall based on version, the right arm is adjustable to hold the phone, and all are 6,600 yen. All are scheduled to be released beginning of July.
