Script/Switch Planning is releasing two new Godzilla jackets, the Japanese Souvenir Jacket GZSJ-003 King Ghidoroh Reversible Skajan and Japanese Souvenir Jacket GZSJ-004 Mothra vs. Godzilla Reversible Skajan. Both are made with 100% satin rayon and lined in 100% polyester satin polyester, and they have an embroidered design on the back and front. They come in sizes S,M, L, XL, and XXL and retail for 45,360 yen (approx $411 US). They can be purchased direct from Switch Planning or retailers like Amazon, and the Godzilla Store. Switch Planning also has released two other Godzilla designs back in March.

Chara-Ani is releasing Godzilla boxer shorts in two styles Shin Godzilla, and Godzilla '64. Both feature Godzilla's face printed on one side with skin texture print on the other. Both are one size (large 84 - 92 cm), made from polyester with a elastic waist band, and will retail for 2,484 yen (approx $22 US). They are available for pre-order now from retailers like AmiAmi, Hobby Search, and will be released this month.

Marusan is releasing three Godzilla related figures in Oct/Nov, King Ghidorah Luminous Aki Version, Metarica Godzilla '55, and Ghost Godzilla '62.  King Ghidorah features an orange "fall" coloring that glows, it stands 30cm, tall and it will retail for 17,280 yen. Godzilla '55 features a metallic paint scheme, it stands 23cm tall, and retails for 7,560 yen. Godzilla '62 is molded in pure vinyl with some small highlights, it stands 30cm tall, and will retail for 17,280 yen. All can be pre-ordered now till the end of August, for US customers you can try Mike Johnson (via Facebook).

Just like his big brother X-Plus has posted the DefoReal Shin Godzilla 3rd Form figure. The figure is 11cm tall and 10cm length (deep) (approx 4 inches) and will retail for 5,940 yen (approx $54 US). Like the previous Defo Shins this figure is a X-Plus/Bandai premium exclusive, it can be pre-ordered now with release in Nov 2017.

Bandai is releasing a new line of Candy box figures Godzilla Shooting (rough translation) the assortment includes Shin Godzilla 4th & 2nd forms, Mechagodzilla/Kiryu 2002, FW Hedorah, and Godzilla 2017 anime version. The anime version isn't shown because of Toho hasn't revealed the full design yet. Each figure comes with gum and will retail for 500 yen, they will be released in Nov 2017.

X-Plus revealed the fully painted Shin Godzilla 3rd Form now we  have full details and pics from X-Plus. The figure is 29cm tall and 48cm in length (approx 12 inches/19 inches), and will retail for 19,980 yen (approx $182 US). The figure will be available for pre-order Aug 4 (tomorrow) from both X-Plus and the Bandai Premium site and will be released in Nov 2017.

X-Plus as expected came to Summer Wonder Festival with some surprises that certainly won't disappoint. First up is Kong from Kong: Skull Island, it looks to be a 30cm Series, one pose/prototype is shown no word if there may be a second pose/extras. Next is the Gigantic Godzilla 1964. Also shown is the Gigantic Shin Godzilla in red vinyl (it seems) in both regular and roaring poses. Shown as well is a GMK setup that includes Mothra and Baragon (LMS) which we believe will be sold together as part of the Favorite Sculptors Line and should be released Nov 2017. Space Godzilla and Little Godzilla (LMS) are shown unpainted with release scheduled Oct 2017. Lastly Shin Godzilla 3rd Form both the regular version and the DefoReal version are shown painted, they look to be released Oct/Nov 2017. Those with release dates should be up for pre-order in the near future. More info as we get it.
​Update: Another shot revealed Godzilla '89 with a mini rose Biollante. We also notice what looks to be a DefoReal Godzilla Train Bitter '54.

Yuji Sakai reveal the Godzilla 1984 Shinjuku Deputy Tokyo Metropolitan Battle Kit to be sold at Summer Wonder Festival. This is an unassembled unpainted kit standing approx 30cm tall, limited to 60 pieces.  It will retail for 40,000 yen (43,200 with tax) and will ship in Nov 2017. There will be a telephone reserve after Wonder Fest if any are left. Hopefully we get a vinyl version from X-Plus later.

Kudafu Romi (sculptor Hiroshi Fukuda) will have three kits at Summer Wonder Festival Shin Godzilla, Zilla, and Biollante Rose Form.  From his site it seems to suggest Shin Godzilla is unpainted and unassembled, the other two are unassembled but are painted. Shin Godzilla is about 25cm tall  and will retail for 22,000 yen Biollante is 23cm tall, 23,000 yen, and features a clear middle that can be lit up. Wonder Festival will be this Shin Godzilla's first appearance the others were shown previously.

S.H. MonsterArts is releasing a Godzilla Anime figure, the image of the figure was shown in the same pose as the promo art that has been seen previously. The figure will stand 17cm tall and will retail for 9,936 yen. It looks to be released in Dec 2017. No word as to when the actual full figure will be revealed, the full image from the S.H. MonsterArts site (below) has statements of those involved (in Japanese). More info as we get it.
