New Gamera Rebirth visual and synopsis have been revealed, the visual gives a better look at Gamera as well as a new adversary, possible Jiger or Legion. The synopsis is overly clear (due to me not knowing Japanese and Google translator not being overly accurate). Check out the visuals here, above with logo, below with out and a lighten up version as well. Below is the synopsis in both Japanese and the translated version. Also below is the stream that will take place at Anime Japan on March 25th 2023.

Kadokawa has announced the Gamera 55th Anniversary Project, to celebrate Gamera's 55th Anniversary, there are multiple things that are planned with probably more to come. Two announcements tie into each other, the release of 4K Blu-rays of the Heisei Gamera trilogy, as well as the showing of 1995's Gamera: Guardian Of The Universe in a limited cinema release.

The Heisei trilogy features each film in a two disc set including the 4K HDR and standard Blu-ray versions, these sets feature a 20 page booklet, the 4K are mastered from the original 35mm negatives while the standard Blu-rays are the same as the ones released in the 2016 box set, they will each feature commentary from many involved in each film, and more. Release date for these sets is Jan 29, 2021, and they will retail for 7,800 yen (depending on retailer).

The limited theater showing of Gamera: Guardian Of The Universe will happen on Nov. 27, 2020, the 55th Anniversary of the release of the first Gamera film in 1965, it will be shown at 7 different cinemas around Japan in 4K (Marunouchi Piccadilly, T Joy Yokohama, Umeda Burg 7, MOVIX Kyoto, Midland Square Cinema, T Joy Hakata, and MOVIX Saitama).

Also there will be a Gamera Tokusatsu DNA event from Nov 27 to Dec 26, at the DUB GALLERY AKIHABARA, that will feature many Gamera releated items as well as continue the 55th Anniversary celebration.

There will be more as well with collectibles (HG figures) and other items (Showa DVD set), more as we get it.
