 Netflix has announced a new Gamera Anime, Gamera Rebirth, the first Gamera movie/series in nearly 16 years. There is not a lot of info yet but being the teaser is posted on the Kadokawa Anime Channel it can be assume this is an anime either movie or series. There are a few visuals beside the teaser trailer, and there will also be a print feature at Tamashii Nations 2022 for Gamera (it is not clear if an info on the movie will be in it), which takes place Nov 18th to the 20th. Shusuke Kaneko who was involved in the '90's Gamera trilogy had a pitch for something but was told the current project was in the works to which in so many words he basically will be paying close attention to this. We will post more on this as we get more information.
