Medicom is releasing two sets of Ultraman Be@rbrick figures, Ultraman & Zetton, and Ultra Seven & King Joe. All figures stand 7cm tall (100% Be@rbrick), and each set will retail for 3,000 yen (approx $27 US). They can be pre-ordered now from a number of retailers with release scheduled for Dec 2018.

X-Plus has announced two more Utraman figures, Ultraman Ace Fighting Pose figure and Zazahn Soft Series figure. Ultraman Ace stands 24cm tall and features a light up gimmick for the eyes and color timer. It is a Ric exclusive and retails for 14,040 yen. Zazahn is a soft (squishy) figure and stands 25cm tall. This is a Ric exclusive and retails for 14,904 yen. Both can be pre-ordered now with release scheduled for Oct 2018.

Tamashii/Bandai announced four new figures based on the Ultraman R/B characters now they have announced a fifth Ultraman Blu Wind. It features the same color scheme as the Rosso Wind figure, purple. It comes with extra hands, weapon, and color timer, and it stands 15cm tall. It retails for 5,400 yen and can be pre-ordered from the Tamashii Web Shop now with release scheduled for May 2019.

​X-Plus revealed a number of figures at Summer Wonder Festival less than a week ago now we have the first pre-orders including Ultraman kaiju Mururoa. It is a Ric only figure that stands 30cm tall and retails for 20,520 yen. It can be pre-ordered now with release scheduled for Dec 2018. This can be ordered from the US Ric site here for approx $172 US.

Bandai/Tamashii have announced five new Ultraman figures, four Ultramman R/B figures, and one Ultraman Orb figure. The four R/B figures are Ultraman Rosso Flame, Ultraman Rosso Wind, Ultraman Blu Water, and Ultraman Blu Ground, the Ultraman Orb figure is Orb Dark. The four R/B figures are 15cm tall and retail for 5,400 yen, each figure comes with accessories, and Rosso Flame and Blu Water come with two bases (meant for both versions of each. All can be pre-ordered now from general retailers with release scheduled for Dec 2018. Ultraman Orb Dark is an Tamashii Nations 2018 exclusive, it features a number of accessories and retails for 5,940 yen and can be pre-ordered at the show Aug 26-28 2018 (website lists Aug 29th more info on that as we get it).

Bandai Hobby is releasing the Figure-Rise Standard Ultraman B-Type Model Kit, a Gundam style Ultraman kit based on the Manga version. The kit is 1/12 scale, articulated, comes with a cannon, multiple effects, and exchangeable hands. An interesting feature is the light up color changing color timer which also lights up the eyes. The kit retails for 4,860 yen and is scheduled to be released in Nov 2018.

Albatross Japan/EDFSB is releasing a number of new figures and busts, (some of which we have posted here and on Facebook), these include Magnedon, and Bad Baalon resin figures, Baragon, and Gabora/Neronga resin busts, and a Spectreman monster (Grass Human?) resin figure. While all can be pre-ordered from the Albatross Japan site some will be available to order at Summer Wonder Festival 2018 as well. Magnedon is 25cm in length and Bad Baalon is 23cm tall, both will retail for 21,600 yen. The Gabora/Neronga bust will be 18cm tall and retail for 12,960 yen. The Baragon bust ia 14cm tall and will retail for 16,200 yen. And the Spectreman monster is 16cm tall and retails for 10,800 yen.

ACRO continues their Kaiju Remix Series (reimagining of Ultra kaiju in a more realistic way) with Telesdon. This vinyl figure  is designed by Yasushi Kisawa, stands 32cm tall (approx 12.5 inches), and will retail for 13,800 yen (approx $123 US). It can be pre-ordered now with release scheduled for Sept 2018.

CCP is releasing the Ultra kaiju Tyrant figure (1/6 Special Effects Series Vol.085). This figure stands 37cm tall (approx 14.5 inches tall), and will retail for 22,000 yen (approx $196 US). It can be pre-ordered now from retailers with release scheduled for Feb 2019.

X-Plus is releasing multiple Ultraman figures in September, Ultra Father & ​Alien Hipporito Set, RMC Plus Ultraman C Type Appearance Pose, and Soft Series Verokron. The Ultra Father set both figures light up, and both stand approx 25cm tall. The set retails for 24,840 yen. The RMC Plus figure (resin statue) stands 30.5cm tall, features light up eyes, color timer, and base, and retails for 19,980 yen. Verokron is made of soft vinyl, has limited arm movement, it stands 29cm tall, and retails for 13,500 yen. All can be pre-ordered from the Ric site (no regular retail sales) with release in Sept 2018.
