Star Ace is releasing the Ray Harryhausen Troglodyte Vinyl figure from Sinbad and the Eye of the Tiger. This figure comes in two versions DX and NX, it stands 30cm tall, it includes a club with the DX also including a baboon and diorama base, it retails for $168.99 (DX) and $154.99 (NX) (both are an sale currently). They can be pre-ordered now with release scheduled for Q3 2025.

Star Ace has announced the Pink Franky and Pink Garloonator figures, sofubi style figures in a collaboration with Planet X. These Art Soft Vinyl figures are both 25cm tall, and retail for 38,500 yen each (they are the same sculpt, different heads). They can be pre-ordered from Star Ace and X-Plus (and possible other retailers), with release scheduled for August 2025.

X-Plus is releasing the Ray Harryhausen's Rhedosaurus 1/72 Model Kit, this kit recreates the scene where Rhedosaurus lands on the shores of New York City and confronts a lighthouse. This kit features a different color mold then the previous version, it stands 20cm to the creatures head, and 23cm to the top of the lighthouse, and the kit retails for 6,600 yen. It can be pre-ordered now from X-Plus and other retailers with release scheduled for June 2025.

Mighty Joe Young Soft Vinyl Model Kit 
Ray Harryhausen got his start as an apprentice to the great stop-motion animator Willis O’Brien and the first major film young Ray worked on was Mighty Joe Young (1949).  A 12-foot-tall giant gorilla is brought to Hollywood to help the young girl who raised him from a baby earn enough money to save her farm.

This new Star Ace statue features Joe as he fights for his life against wild lions. The soft vinyl statue is approx. 34 cm tall and is sculpted by the renowned artisans at Kaibutsuya.
