X-Plus/Star Ace has officially announced the DefoReal Redosaurus monochrome and color versions. The color version features an open mouth, and the monochrome a closed mouth, both are 14cm tall and 21cm in length, and both retail for 7,920 yen.  Both can be pre-ordered from X-Plus now with release scheduled for Nov 2021, note it is unclear if these will be available from Star Ace directly.

​A statue of Kali, Goddess of Death, stands guard over countless treasure. Woe to any sailor who tries to steal from the horde guarded by this stone sentry. Her six arms all wield swords and can fight off multiple attackers. One of Ray Harryhausen’s more ambitious stop-motion creations, Kali would move all her arms as she battles the adventurers.

Traditionally sculpted by the artisans of the famed creature shop of Kaibutsuya, this detailed Kali statue is made from soft vinyl and stands 30cm tall. Each piece is hand-painted to look like it is made of ancient stone. She is posed with all six swords ready to face-off against anyone who would desecrate her treasure horde.

The Deluxe version of this statue includes a polyresin display diorama base with the cave floor covered with golden treasure.

X-Plus has officially announced the Vampirella 1/8 Plastic Model Kit, the first in a new series of model kits from X-Plus. X-Plus has teased this kit for a while, it comes unpainted, it features a tombstone base with bats, is based on the old Aurora kit, and will retail for approx. $38. It will be available from various retails with release scheduled for August 2021.

The Greek hero Jason encountered the giant Bronze monster Talos when one of his crew stole from the treasure the giant guarded. Chased by the 70-meter-tall giant, Jason’s ship was a plucked from the water by Talos and the sailors had to jump for their lives.

Traditionally sculpted by the artisans of the famed creature shop of Kaibutsuya, this detailed Talos statue is made from soft vinyl and stands 32cm tall. Each piece is hand-painted to look like it has an ancient Bronze finish. He is posed with his sword in one hand and bending over to pull the ship out of the water, the boat is supported by a sculpted water splash.

The Deluxe version of this statue includes a display diorama base with part of the lagoon and the rocks on either side of the channel. It is limited to only 800 pieces worldwide that includes a diorama base.

The classic fantasy film One Million Years BC featured dinosaurs and other creatures brought to life by the stop-motion genius of Ray Harryhausen. Star Ace’s next release from this film is the menacing Ceratosaurus, known for battling a Triceratops that had been chasing our heroes, the caveman and the cavegirl. As the cavepeople fearfully watch hidden in the nearby rock formation, the two huge dinosaurs fought to the death. This Ceratosaurus is a 30 cm tall Polyresin statue sculpted to match the original Harryhausen stop-motion model exactly. It features a detailed, hand-painted color scheme, and comes with the rocky outcropping display base. The set includes scaled figures of the caveman and the cavegirl that can be positioned in a variety of ways. The Ceratosaurus is in scale with the Star Ace Triceratops and can be displayed together to recreate the scene from the movie (each sold separately). Created in partnership with the Ray and Diana Harryhausen Foundation and the 20th Century Fox.

Star Ace/X-Plus has announced the Ray Harryhausen DefoReal Cyclops figure which was revealed earlier this year as part of the ever growing Ray Harryhausen 100 line of figures. This figure stands 15cm tall, there are two versions the deluxe with the figure holding a club, and standard without it, The deluxe retails for 8,470 yen (7,700 yen on the US X-Plus site, the standards price is the same 8.470 yen). In celebration of the 100th Anniversary of the master of movie stop motion animation, Ray Harryhausen, Star Ace is proud to release Ymir, the creature that came 20 million miles to Earth. This uniquely designed monster has a forked tail, scaly skin and is ready to attack.

Traditionally sculpted by the artisans of the famed creature shop of Kaibutsuya, this detailed Ymir statue is made from soft vinyl and stands 32cm tall. Each piece is hand-painted to bring out the details of the sculpt. His eyes can roll, and his jaw moves up and down.

The Deluxe version of this statue includes a display base with the Harryhausen logo and a bent lamp post. The standard version includes the logo base only.

This figure stands 32cm tall, there is two versions available deluxe and standard, the deluxe features a display base and two sailors, it also features a battle club, rolling eye, and articulated jaw (these three features are on the standard as well). Prices are $249.99 for the deluxe, and $199.99 for the standard, it is available for pre-order now from Star Ace and other retailers, with release scheduled for first quarter 2021.
