In Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, we see a journaled video of Blue the Velociraptor, as a baby, interacting with the trainer who will eventually become her trusted pack leader, Owen Grady. In the video, Blue showed unbelievably empathic traits towards Owen, which is probably what sets her apart from any other dinosaur in the park.

Once produced at 1/1 scale by Prime 1 Studio, adorable Baby Blue is now at 1/2 scale and stands a little over 13 inches tall! She’s in rapt attention (probably for Owen), and ready to pounce! Baby Blue was created with the help of the same digital files from the film, so passionate fans can expect impeccable accuracy. She’s quite a standout with her distinctively unique blue pattern and large, adorable, yellow eyes.

TALOS 2.0 60CM/50CM SOFT VINYL STATUE (RAY HARRYHAUSEN)
Star Ace introduces their “Gigantic” line of Ray Harryhausen statues with the titanic Talos who stands 50cm (20”) tall! The Greek hero Jason encountered the giant Bronze monster Talos when one of his crew stole from the treasure the giant guarded. This gigantic statue guarded a priceless treasure and when Sinbad’s sailors stole from it, the statue came alive to retrieve it.

This “Gigantic” version of Talos is posed as the great titan was when first encountered by Sinbad. Traditionally sculpted by the artisans of the famed creature shop of Kaibutsuya, this detailed Talos statue is made from soft vinyl and stands 50cm tall (60cm with display base). Each piece is hand-painted to look like it has an ancient Bronze finish.

The Deluxe version of this statue includes the huge platform where the giant statue stood guarding the entrance to his treasure room.

Star Ace is releasing the Wonders Of The Wild Concavenator Polyresin Statue and we now have pics and info. The statue will come in two versions a deluxe (DX) and a standard (NX), the deluxe comes with a plate that shows a fossilize version (based on a real fossil) of the creature, the fossil replica plate is also available separately, the deluxe will retail for $319 US, the standard for $240 US, and the plate for $100 US. All should be released Feb/March 2022.

ABOUT THIS STATUE
Star Ace is proud to debut a new collection in collaboration with X-Plus –the Wonders of the Wild series, featuring real ancient animals. Sculpted by renowned animal sculptor, Sean Cooper, these polyresin statues feature prehistoric creatures on an environment base with a name plate identifying their scientific name and habitat. 

The Concavenator or Concaventor corcovatus was recently discovered in Europe and is the most complete fossil of a mid-size theropod ever found.  This 6-meter-long carnivore is the only known dinosaur to have a hump, and there is evidence that it had feathers.  

This polyresin statue of the Concavenator is 32 cm long and 25 cm tall. It has been sculpted by Sean Cooper, who is known for his ultra-realistic depictions of extinct animals, and it has been painted by the Japanese artisans at X-Plus.

The base of the statue features the Concavenator’s natural forest habitat.  

The Deluxe set also includes a Concavenator Fossil Replica is sculpted by the Star Ace designer team.  This replica features the dinosaur as first discovered and makes an excellent companion piece to the dynamic statue.  It can be displayed with or without its magnetically attachable nameplate. The Fossil Replica measures 31cm by 19cm and can be hung on a wall or sitting on a tabletop or shelf.

Bandai is releasing the first in a new line of highly detailed real creatures, the Ikimono Encyclopedia Ultimate Nile Crocodile figure. This figure is very realistic and fully articulated (head, mouth, legs, tail, and body), it is 40cm in length (over 15 inches), and will retail for 19,800 yen. It is available to pre-order from Bandai with release schedule for Jan 2022.

The Woolly Mammoth or Mammuthus primigenius roamed much of the Northern Hemisphere as recently as 4,000 years ago. Standing approximately 3 meters tall and weighing over six tons, this elephant ancestor was an important resource for early humans. 

This polyresin statue of the Mammoth stands 28cm tall 39cm long.  It has been sculpted by Sean Cooper, who is known for his ultra-realistic depictions of extinct animals, and it has been painted by the Japanese artisans at X-Plus.

Just The Two Raptors Deluxe Jurassic Park 1:10 Scale Statue by Iron Studios

Jurassic Park’s relentless predators in a new statue from Iron Studios!

Hidden among bushes, two prehistoric predators sneak forward, watching and sniffing out their next prey. They hunt together using their natural intelligence to reach their goal faster and more effectively. Among the most feared creatures of the Jurassic world recreated by man, Iron Studios presents, in one more work derived from the cult movie franchise, the statue “Just The Two Raptors Deluxe Art Scale 1/10 – Jurassic Park – Iron Studios”, featuring the lethal Velociraptors, faithfully represented, to honor the legacy of the work of Stan Winston and Steven Spielberg.

Inspired by a promotional concept created by Stan Winston’s studios, master of visual effects and responsible for the creation of the dinosaurs in the 1993 movie Jurassic Park, Iron Studios recreated this scenario that presents the scary beasts in their original tones on a diorama base formed by the earthy terrain of the Costa Rican rainforest. The raptors present themselves as if they were moving through the vegetation, with the iconic Jurassic Park logo carved into the front. In the film, the paleontologist Dr. Alan Grant explains to a young visitor who disdains Velociraptor fossils, … “Try to imagine yourself in the Cretaceous period. You get your first look at this “six-foot turkey” as you enter a clearing. He moves like a bird, lightly, bobbing his head — and you keep still because you think that maybe his visual acuity is based on movement, like a T-Rex, he’ll lose you if you don’t move — but no, not Velociraptor. You stare at him, and he just stares right back. And that’s when the attack comes not from the front, but from the side, from the other two raptors, you didn’t even know were there. Because Velociraptor’s a pack hunter and used coordinated attack patterns to take down his prey!”. This dialogue inspired the name of this statue.

In the original park located on Isla Nublar, the Velociraptors were kept in isolation in a maximum-security area with eight animals. With the arrival of a female, who took over the leadership of the pack, the group was reduced to just three animals, as she made all the raptors attack the electric fences in search of failures so they could escape. Along with all this situation, the head of computing, Dennis Nedry, decided to run away, which also caused the total power outage, making it easier for the beasts to reach their goal. The dinosaurs then began to explore the entire park and hunt visitors, which resulted in some of the most memorable and frightening scenes in the saga. The velociraptor has established itself as one of the most beloved and present dinosaurs in the movie franchise, in a work adapted from the book by Michael Crichton.
