X-Plus is releasing the Toho Maniacs Matango Glow In The Dark Version figure. This is the same figure released in 2022 but made with glow in the dark vinyl and a new paint scheme, it includes a tag, it stands 18cm tall, and will retail for 8,360 yen. It is available for pre-ordered now from X-Plus with release scheduled for March 2026. It may be available from X-Plus NA at a later date.
As confirmed directly by X-Plus NA, this release was never going to be made available to them due to licensing issues outside of Japan.
A sad state of affairs.
