Bandai Premium is releasing an exclusive version of the DefoReal Shin Godzilla, an Awakening Fluorescent Version. Like other Awakening (emission) versions it has the purple paint scheme with the open mouth split jaw pose, it also features a light up gimmick (similar to the above pic). It stands 14cm tall and retails for 12,960 yen. It can be pre-ordered from Bandai now with release scheduled for Jan 2019. It is not clear at this point if this will be sold from X-Plus, we will update this post when we find out.

X-Plus is releasing the 30cm Series Godzilla 1967 Ric, this figure comes with not one but two Minya figures, as well as two extra arms for Godzilla (to pose Minya on his shoulders). The two Minyas (both previously released in 2010), are the newborn (crawling version), and standing version, both are soft (squishy) vinyl. Godzilla stands 33cm tall, Minya newborn stands 12cm, and Minya child stands 18cm. X-Plus is releasing the X-Plus 30cm Series Yuji Sakai Modeling Collection Godzilla 1989 Osaka Landing Version (Closed Mouth version), it appears to be the same figure previously released with a different head. This figure stands 28.5cm tall and the Ric version features light up fins and Super X 2 (updated with pics below). It retails for 28,620 yen, it can be pre-ordered now with release scheduled for Dec 2018.

After hitting us with what can arguably be the ultimate collectible set, the Destroy All Monsters set, X-Plus has revealed three more figures, Large Monster Series Godzilla '65, 30cm Series Fire Rodan, and the DefoReal Godzilla '64. Godzilla '65 is 24cm tall, comes with an Controller from Planet X figure (Ric version), and it retails for 15,660 yen. Fire Rodan is a Ric exclusive, is 29cm in length and has a 47cm wingspan, has stands for display, and retails for 19,980 yen. The DefoReal Godzilla comes with a Mothra larva attached to his tail and a separate larva (Ric only for the separate one), Godzilla is 13cm tall the separate Mothra is 5cm tall, it will retail for 7,560 yen. Godzilla '65 and Fire Rodan are scheduled for release Nov 2018 and the DefoReal for Jan 2019, all can be pre-ordered now.

X-Plus has announced the Monster Total Advance 50th Anniversary Set (Destroy All Monsters), an 11 figure set, and a Large Monster Series Flying Ghidorah. The 11 piece set includes Godzilla, Minya, Baragon, Manda, Anguirus, Kumonga, Varan, Mothra (larva), Rodan, Gorosaurus, and a new Flying King Ghidorah (which is being sold separately, and includes some parts from the previous version). All except Ghidorah have been released previously, and all are Large Monster Series figures, the set is limited to 50 sets. Ghidorah is 47cm tall and has a base and tapestry (background) which also come with the set as well as the individual figure. The set ships in three boxes. The set retails for 149,040 yen (approx $1340 US), Ghidorah alone retails for 39,960 yen. Both can be pre-ordered starting now, with a release date of Nov 2018, both items are from X-Plus only (Ric exclusive).

X-Plus is releasing the 30cm Series Favorite Sculptors Line Varan figure, a figure based on a kit by Atsushi Asai released in 2007. This figure stands 18cm tall and is 41cm in length, it will retail for 22,680 yen. The Ric version comes with a Mountain God figure standing 16cm tall. The figure can be pre-ordered now with release scheduled for Oct 2018. Note pic at the bottom is of the original kit.

X-Plus has announced their Soft Series Hedorah Landing Version (crawling) figure, a soft squishy vinyl. The figure is 15cm tall and 38cm in length (head to tail), the Ric version comes with a factory that is a few cm's shorter than the figure. It retails for 14,904 yen and can be pre-ordered now (from X-Plus for the Ric, other retailers for the regular version), with release scheduled for Oct 2018.

X-Plus revealed a number of figures less than a week ago at Summer Wonder Festival and now we have the first releases, DefoReal Godzilla 1962 (along with a Ultraman release). The figure stands 12cm tall and the Ric features glow in the dark fins. It will retail for 5,940 yen and can be pre-ordered now with release scheduled for Dec 2018.

X-Plus made a bunch of reveals at Summer Wonder Festival 2018 including Godzilla, Gamera, Kong, and Ultraman related figures.The big story, pun intended, was two new Gigantic series figures Godzilla '89 and Mechagodzilla '74 the first non Godzilla Toho Gigantic, no dates or info was given yet on these. Another Gigantic was revealed Ultraman Jack, which has a Dec 2018 release date. Back to the Toho related releases was a Large Monster series Monster X which has an Oct 2018 release date. Another Toho release is the Soft series Landing Stage Hedorah (it is unclear if he will come with the building next to him), it is also scheduled for Oct 2018 release. Another surprise was the Large Monster series Gamera 1999, it looks to come with a second head (probably the Ric), it as well has an Oct 2018 release date. There was an Ultraman Ace Large Monster series figure as well as two Ultra kaiju on display, they also have Oct 2018 release dates. X-Plus revealed three new DefoReal figures Kong, Godzilla '62, and Godzilla '64, as well as a Pop Color Chart of Shin's, and the line up of DefoReals. The interesting one of the DefoReals was Kong in a dynamic pose fighting a Skullcrawler.
