Medicom has announced the Godzilla Vinyl Wars EX Godzilla 1954 Guignol (puppet) Version 2nd Term lottery figure, this is a newly sculpted Anraku Ansaku version. This figure stands 26cm tall, will retail for 16,500 yen, and will be released June 2022. Like with previous lottery figures the lottery will run from Mar 24th to April 10th on the Medicom website. Also available is the original monster Ancient Golden Dragon King Gordraa 2nd Term lottery figure, like the other it is an Anraku Ansaku sculpt, stands 26cm and retails for 16,500 yen, and is available through the same lottery.

Marusan is releasing two Hedorah figures to commenarate the 100th Anniversary (birth) of special effects art director Yasuyuki Inoe, who had a hand in designing Hedorah, at the 100th Anniversary Special Effects Art Director Yasuyuki Inoe Exhibition. The two figures are the Marusan Hedorah 350 Yasuyuki Inoe Exhibition Version, and the Marusan Hedorah 450 Yasuyuki Inoe Exhibition 2022 Version, the 350 features a dolid colored vinyl with unique paint apps, is 23cm tall, and retails for 13,200 yen, the 450 is clear vinyl with yellow and red paint, stands 30cm tall, and is 33,000 yen. These will be sold at the event that takes place March 19th (Sat) -June 19th (Sun), 2022, at the Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo Special Exhibition Room B2F.

Graveyard Gallery is releasing the Bullmark Monster Series Gigan Metallic Green Version. This figure stands 23cm tall and will retail for 8,800 yen. It can be pre-ordered from Graveyard Gallery from now till April 3rd with release scheduled for the end of June 2022.

X-Plus has officially announced their Gigantic DefoReal Shin Godzilla 4th Form. This figure has incredible detail, it is 29cm tall and 30cm wide, the Ric version features a light up gimmick that glows through the entire body, and it retails for 29,150 yen (27,500 yen for the standard, and 26,500 on the US Ric site). It can be pre-ordered now from X-Plus (Ric) and from other retailers with release scheduled for July 2022.

Medicom is releasing the NAG Godzilla 2001 Open Mouth lottery figures, a very limited line of figures by artist NAGNAGNAG. There are five different color variations of this figure that stands 28cm tall, the price is 440,000 yen, like with previous figures these are very expensive. The figure looks to be available at Art Fair Tokyo 2022 at the Akashic Records 2.5 booth. Those who can not attend can enter the lottery here, by March 13th and the figures will be released after that in March.

X-Plus has officially announced the Godzilla Vs. Gigan Showdown Set, Gigan DefoReal, and a new Varan DefoReal color, which were shown at Wonder Festival. The Showdown set features updated versions of Godzilla (1971 version from 2017) and Gigan (from 2012), both stand 23cm tall, the set retails for 27,500 yen, is a Ric exclusive, and will be released May 2022. The DefoReal Gigan stands 15cm tall, the Ric features a light up visor, it will retail for 9,240 yen (standard 7,920 yen), and it will be released April 2022. Varan is a Poster Color Version is the same as the 2020 version with a new paint scheme, is a Ric exclusive, retails for 8,800 yen, and will be released August 2022.

Medicom has announced a new group of lottery figures, the ​Godzilla Vinyl Wars EX Soft Vinyl Life Giant Pretty Godzilla New Color, Godzilla & Mothra Larva Anraku Ansaku 2nd Term Set, Mothra Anraku Ansaku 3rd Term, and the Marmit Science Special Investigation Corps Base. The Giant Godzilla stands 35cm tall, and will retail for 11,000 yen, the Godzilla & Mothra set are 26cm and 14cm respectively and retail for 16,500 yen, the Mothra is 30cm long and retails for 13,200 yen, and the SSIC base is 14cm tall and retails for 8,800 yen, and they will be released April/July/April 2022 respectively. Like with previous lottery figures the lottery will run from Feb 24th to March 10th on the Medicom website.

The Godzilla Store has made a number of announcements of new and re-released merchandise. Gigan 50th Anniversary merchandise was announced including another Marusan Gigan Sparkle this one being purple sparkle, a Gigan Chibi Plush, various Gigan 50th Anniversary logo items including keychain, can badge, hard case, stickers, and two t-shirts. The figure is 23cm tall and retails for 13,200 yen, the plush is 16cm tall and retails for 2,420 yen, the other items retail between 440 yen up to 4,400 yen. Also announced was a new Godzilla board game by Arclight, Kaiju on the Earth LEGENDS "Godzilla", retailing for 6,930 yen, and two Marusan Godzilla figures, Marusan Godzilla 1989 Godzilla Store Limited Color Version, and Godzilla Store Limited Godzilla 1962 Marusan Classic Godzilla Plastic Model Image Color Version. They are 23cm and 22cm tall respectively, and 13,200 yen and 8,800 yen respectively. Most are releasing starting March and can be pre-ordered now. They were a number of X-Plus and Bandai Movie Monster Series re-releases announced some as lottery figures, some as regular sales (some of which have sold out already).

Cool Props is releasing the GODZILLA: ORIGINAL SUIT COLLECTION SUIT SIZE BUST PROP REPLICA “HEISEI” GODZILLA, which is the actual size of the suit from the film(s) and developed with Toho Visual Art. This bust is made of FRP,  polystone, is approx. 51 cm wide by approx. 60 cm tall by approx. 113 cm deep,  weights 25kg, is limited to 100, comes with a separate nameplate, and retails for 385,000 yen. It will be available for pre-order starting Feb 20th from Cool Props, with release scheduled for Feb 2023.
