Banpresto's Ichiban Kuji Prize division has announced the Godzilla Minus One prize items, like with previous prize/lottery items there are figures as well as other items. The prizes are as follows A prize Godzilla (2023) SOFVICS, B prize dorsal fin plate, C prize Godzilla design mug cup, D prize gauze towel, E prize acrylic stand collection, F prize black tumbler, G prize canvas style illustration board & logo sticker, H prize monster head Magnet, Last One Award Godzilla (2023) SOFVICS Heat Radiation Version, and Double Chance Campaign Godzilla (2023). The figures are 23cm tall, and the entry fee is 900 yen, the items are scheduled to be released Nov 18th 2023. There is a good chance that the A prize will be available for purchase as has other A prize figures have been in this series before.

Uman Studio is releasing the Mechagodzilla 2003 Statue, a premium resin statue. This statue stands 85cm tall, 85cm wide, and 90cm deep, it features light up eyes, the statue features a damaged cityscape base, with nameplate, it is limited to 150 pieces, and the statue will retail for $2038.00. It can be pre-ordered now from select retailers like Orzgk.com (which shows it at a large discount) with release scheduled for Q3/Q4 2023.

X-Plus is releasing the Large Monster Series Biollante Luminescence Version, a light up version of the figure released in 2011. This figure is 31cm tall, 60cm deep, 68cm wide, it features a light up gimmick in the abdomenthat is steady or blinking, it also has movable fangs, and will retail for 55,000 yen. This Ric exclusive can be pre-ordered now from X-Plus with release scheduled for Sept 2023.

With the new Godzilla Minus One movie announcement we now have a number of new merchandise announced. Bandai has announced new Movie Monster Series (approx. 6 inches) and King Monster Series (approx. 10 inches) figures (besides our previously posted S.H. MonsterArts figure), also announced are a t-shirt, two acrylic key chain/standee, large acrylic standee, lanyard, and sticker set, the figures are approx. 3,500 yen and 7,000 yen respectively, the other items range from 550 yen to 3,300 yen. Most should be available from multiple retail outlets.

Tamashii/Bandai is releasing the just announced Godzilla 2023 from Godzilla Minus One in the S.H. MonsterArts line. This figure stands 16cm tall, and will retail for 14,850 yen (w/tax, 13,500 yen without), there is no accessories with this figure. It with go on sale on July 18th wth release scheduled for Nov 2023.

X-Plus is releasing the DefoReal Evangelion Unit 01 "G" Awakening Mode figure, a figure similar to the standard size version. The figure stands 17cm tall and is 21cm in length, the Ric features light up eyes and fins, and both feature Fluorescent paint for the dorsal fin and the green parts, and by shining a black light can produce a glowing effect, and it retails for 15,400 yen. It can be pre-ordered from X-Plus and Bandai (Ric), and other retailers (standard), with release scheduled for Oct 2023.

Tamashii/Bandai is releasing the ​S.H. MonsterArts Mechagodzilla 1993 & Garuda & Fire Rodan Makuhari Decisive Battle Version Set for the 30th Anniversary of the film. This set includes all three figures with updated paint schemes, both Mechagodzilla and Garuda feature a blueish silver (more accurate to the movie), Rodan uses clear parts on the head and back, it comes with stands for Garuda and Rodan, replacement abdominal parts for the plasma grenade, and it also includes the G Crusher. Mechagodzilla and Garuda can connect to form Super Mechagodzilla, and by partially adjusting the head structure, it is possible to reproduce the right eye that was damaged in the battle (replacement head(?)). Figures are the same size as the previously released figures and the set will retail for 24,200 yen, pre-order start July 7th with release scheduled for Dec 2023.

Bandai Gashapon is releasing the Ultimate Toho Kaiju Godzilla Head Mini Busts. These busts include the Godzilla '62, '74, '84, are approx. 5.7cm tall and the logo plate (which is separate) is 1.55 cm tall, they will retail for 500 yen. They will be available from Bandai and retail outlets with release from Bandai Oct 2023 and retailers Nov 2023, it is random as to which one you get.

Marusan has another Pop-Up Shop happening with the Pop-Up Kaijyu Salon Shop In Asakusa  at a new location and is releasing more lottery figures. They are releasing the 1974 Godzilla 450 Green Glitter Version, and a Toho Monster Lucky Bag featuring glitter figures. The Godzilla 450 is 30cm, and the lucky bag figures 23cm tall, they retail for 27,500 yen for the 1974, and 14,300 yen for the lucky bag figures. The lottery can be entered on the Marusan Instagram page or by emailing Marusan with the subject "POP-UP Asakusa 7/8" and your name, address, phone number by July 3th.
