Bandai Premium is releasing the Godzilla Masato Enormous PB 01 Godzilla 2018 vinyl figure, this figure is design by Naka Masato and is actual considered part of the candy figure line (it comes with gum). This figure is big standing 50cm tall (nearly 20 inches) and 85cm in length (over 33 inches), it is sized in line with figures like X-Plus Gigantics. It retails for 19,440 yen (approx $173 US) and can be pre-ordered from the Bandai Premium site with release in April 2018. Of note we are not sure why it is Godzilla 2018 since is is based on the Monster Planet.

Marusan is releasing a number of quite colorful figures in Feb/March 2018, there is the Hedorah Milky Glow Mix Version, the Ghidorah Metarica, the Gappa Green Tea Ice Edition 50th Anniversary Set, and the Guilala Unpainted 50th Anniversary Version.  Hedorah comes in two versions in light blue and pink pattern (the two versions are opposite colors), it is 24cm tall and retails for 6,480 yen. Ghidorah features a metallic greenish coloring, stands 30cm tall, and retails for 17,280 yen. The Gappa Set feature all three Gappas, father, mother, and child in the Green Tea color scheme. Father and mother are 24cm tall, child 16cm tall, they retail for 10,800 yen for the father alone and the mother and child together. Guilala is unpainted and comes in either milk white or phosphorescent (glow in the dark), it is 24cm tall, and retails for 5,400 yen. There are also Ultraman releases as well. All can be pre-ordered from Marusan and other retailers. 

X-Plus is releasing two new figures the 30cm Series Yuji Sakai Godzilla '54 Monster King figure and the Favorite Sculptors Line Large Monster Series Desghidorah (Death Ghidorah) figure. The Godzilla '54 was just recently revealed at Super Festival Osaka 4 and is based on a poster for the film, the Ric version of this figure features light up fins (Limited Lighting Version). The figure stands 28cm tall (approx 11 inches) and retails for 28,620 yen for the Ric (approx $253 US, 27,000 yen for the regular version). The Desghidorah was reveal a while back and is based on a Gowrow model (Ko Secto), the Ric features light up eyes and mouth , it stands 29cm tall (approx 11 inches), 57cm in length (approx 22 inches), and has a wingspan of 68cm (approx 27 inches). It retails for 29,160 yen (approx $257 US). Both can be pre-ordered from the X-Plus site (for the Ric) and other retailers like AmiAmi for the regular now, and both will be released in Feb 2018.

Japan Post Office is getting in on the Godzilla: Monster Planet bandwagon with the release of the Godzilla: Monster Planet Limited Figure & Framed Stamp Set. The figure a Yuji Sakai sculpted figure stands 20cm tall (approx 8 inches) and 40cm in length (approx 16 inches), comes in a limited red color, and the stamps are a 10 stamp sheet with Godzilla: Monster Planet characters and art. The set retails for 13,800 yen (approx $121 US) and will be available Nov 13 at most Japan Post locations as well as the Japan Post website.

Tamashii has been hinting of a special announcement pertaining to their 10th Anniversary, now they have give another hint at just what might be coming at the "Akihabara UDX" venue, Shin Godzilla. Tamashii has released an image including ten logos for various characters number one in the image is the Shin Godzilla logo. While they have not given any specifics on the figures the text accompanying it seems to suggest it will be something new.
"TAMASHII NATIONS exhibits new items that can attract you from now on. We will release the deployment after 2018 of human figures, robot figures, monster figures, super alloys and props series, including new characters and new technologies, brand x character's first collaboration etc.

Bandai is releasing the Monster King Series Shin Godzilla 4th Form Climax Version figure, this is the larger series (Movie Monster Series being the smaller ones). This figure features a slightly different sculpt from the regular version, it stands 28cm tall (approx 11 inches), and it will retail for 7,560 yen (approx $66 US). It can be pre-ordered from Bandai with release scheduled for March 2018.

Chara-Ani is releasing three new Kaiju Netsuke figures, Godzilla 2017 (Anime), Ghidorah 2001, and Varan. These deformed style figures are approx 2 1/2 inches tall and come with a collectible wooden storage box and name plate (w/ring to attach to a key chain). They retail for 10,800 yen (approx $95 US, yes expensive), they can be pre-ordered now from AmiAmi, and other retailers. They are scheduled for release in Dec 2017. (Note: prototypes are shown.)

Banpresto is having an online lottery for not one but three Yuji Sakai Godzilla '89 figures, Godzilla 1989, Godzilla 1989 Heat Ray Radiation Color Version, and Godzilla 1989 Monochrome Color Version. All three are the same sculpt with different color schemes, they are 20cm tall (approx 8 inches) and 30cm in length (approx 12 inches). The lottery starts Oct 26 and runs through Nov 26, with release March 2018. You can enter up to 5 times and it will retail for 6,500 yen (approx $57 US).

Medicom is releasing two exclusive Godzilla figures, the Godzilla Vinyl Wars TOHO Cinemas Theater Limited figure (above), and the Godzilla Vinyl Wars Canyon Crest Distribution Limited figure (below). Both exclusives, being released to celebrate Godzilla: Monster Planet, are based on Burning Godzilla and are molded in clear orange vinyl. The TOHO Cinemas version is 22cm tall (approx 8.5 inches) and will retail for 8,000 yen (approx $70 US). The Canyon Crest version is 36cm tall (approx 14 inches) and will retail for 18,056 yen (approx $159 US). Both will be distributed by Canyon Crest and released in Nov 2017.
Update: The TOHO Cinemas version will be sold at the TOHO theaters showing Godzilla: Monster Planet on Nov 17, there will be a couple of theaters that will have early showings before that will also sell the figure.

The Godzilla Store has announced a number of promo items for the grand opening of the Godzilla Store Tokyo, the first permanent physical store. There are three limited first come items as well as other items that can be purchased. The limited items include the Bandai Limited Edition Godzilla Store Movie Monsters Shin Godzilla figure (limited, 2,500 yen (?)), a Godzilla Store bag (to customers spending 3,000 yen or more), and two Godzilla posters (to customers spending 5,000 yen or more). Besides those items 5 other items will be for sale, a Godzilla Store t-shirt (3,000 yen), Godzilla Store mug (1,500 yen), Memorial Medal (1,500 yen), a Godzilla Store umbrella (2,000), and a clear file and postcard featuring to promo art (Koji Tajima Art) for the opening (450 and 190 yen).
