The Godzilla Store has added a number of item from figures, key chains, clothes, and even toilet paper. Two items that are particularly interesting is two new Shin Godzilla figures from X-Plus, 2nd and 3rd Forms molded in a clear vinyl than painted. These are the same figures previously released (LMS 2nd Form, 53cm in length, and 30cm Series 3rd Form, 29cm tall and 48cm in length) but molded in the clear vinyl. The 2nd Form is 16,200 yen, 3rd Form 21,600 yen, both will be released Feb/Mar 2019.
Also on the site are Marsan's Toho Monster Big Picture Godzilla Store Limited Version figures, 8 different 6cm tall figures retailing for 1,080 yen .Other items include key chains, diorama, can badge and more with an artwork (comic) style on them. Also coming is Godzilla toilet paper (we kid you not, insert joke here), as well as many other items including event exclusives like the black and white X-Plus DefoReal Godzilla Train Biter. Special Effects DNA Tokyo Exhibition being held December 19, 2018 to January 27, 2019 has announced a number of event exclusive figures. From Bandai Movie Monsters line are Shin Godzilla 2nd Form Clear Yellow Version, and Shin Godzilla 3rd Form Clear Red Version, each are 1,600 yen. From US Toys are BB First Godzilla Blue Glow GID Molding, BB Kingoji Blue Glow GID Molding, BB Mosugoji Blue Glow GID Molding, BB Biogoji Blue Glow GID Molding, BB Mechagodzilla Gray Packaging, BB Guy Gun Metallic Gray Packaging, BB Hedorah Clear Molding, BB Baragon Brown Molding (Standing), and BB Four Leg Baragon Brown Molding (Crawling), each are approximately 85mm to 90mm in height and will cost 2,700 yen. Both BB Mechagodzilla and BB Hedorah will be available in different colors to be announced before the show. All are limited in numbers, the exhibition takes place at Nippon Kogakuin College of Technology, Nishikamata Ota Ward, Tokyo.

X-Plus revealed two more figures at the 2018 Autumn Miyazawa Model Exhibition, King Ghidorah 1964 and Hedorah. Ghidorah appears to be a Large Monster Series figure (possibly a FSL?) scheduled for March 2019, Hedorah didn't have a release date yet (not sure of scale). X-Plus showed off a number of figures at Super Festival we got a few Ultraman from that group now we have our first Godzilla related figures, 30cm Series Favorite Sculptors Line Godzilla 1964 and 30cm Series Ebriah. Godzilla 1964 is based on an Inoue Arts kit released in 1986 (pic with white background below is the original kit), it stands 30cm tall and the Ric features light up fins.It will retail for 21,600 yen. Ebriah is 34cm in length and the Ric version comes with a sea base which replaces his tail to give the effect he is coming out of the water, it retails for 24,300 yen. Both figures are available for pre-order on the Ric site (general versions should be up soon, with release scheduled for Jan 2019.

While many pics have been floating around we now have some official pics and info on Bandai's Movie Monster Series Anime Ghidorah. The figure features some gold highlights on the yellowish body. This figure is 34cm in length and 30cm in width, it will retail for 2,700 yen. It is available now from Amazon Japan and other sites.

Nanoblock is releasing a new block set of Shin Godzilla 4th Form, blocks similar to Legos. The set features 630 pieces, multi colored blocks to make a detail Shin Godzilla. The set can be purchase from Amazon Japan for 5,184 yen (plus shipping, approx $45.50 US), and is scheduled for release Dec 8, 2018.

X-Plus was at Super Festival Osaka 5 and revealed a number of figures with a few surprises. On display were DefoReal Hedorah and Godzilla '98 (yes Zilla), 30cm Ebriah, Monster X, Gigantic Godzilla '89 (painted), 30cm FSL Godzilla '64, and a bunch of Ultra reveals. Most of the figure should be released between January and March 2019 with a few later than that, this means we should get pre-orders soon for some of the January ones. More info as we get it. Sega has announced prize items for Godzilla: Planet Eater anime film, they include plush and towels. Three plush were revealed Godzilla Earth, Godzilla Phillius, and Servum, all approx 25cm in size, and three styles of towels, all 120 cm x 60 cm. All items are scheduled to hit prize machines mid Nov 2018.

Bandai Premium is releasing an exclusive version of the DefoReal Shin Godzilla, an Awakening Fluorescent Version. Like other Awakening (emission) versions it has the purple paint scheme with the open mouth split jaw pose, it also features a light up gimmick (similar to the above pic). It stands 14cm tall and retails for 12,960 yen. It can be pre-ordered from Bandai now with release scheduled for Jan 2019. It is not clear at this point if this will be sold from X-Plus, we will update this post when we find out.

Marusan is releasing a number of figures in February including Godzilla 1964 Green Glitter, Metarica Godzilla 1971, Gigan 1972 Blue version, two different Giant Guilala, clear green and regular green, Gold Giant Gorilla (Kong), Gappa Family in Gloss Black and Ultraman Ace. Godzilla '64 has a glitter green body (like the '55 last month) stands 23cm tall, and retails for 10,800 yen. Godzilla '71 (with silver and gold highlights) and Gigan are both 23cm tall, Godzilla retails for 7,560 yen and Gigan for 8,640 yen. The Guilala both stand 40cm tall, the clear green version retails for 16,200 yen and the regular version retails for 21,600 yen. The Gold Giant Gorilla stands 28cm and retails for 17,280. The Gappa family (same mold as previous releases) retail for 15,120 yen. And Ultraman Ace stands 30cm and retails for 10,800. All figures can be pre-ordered now from Marusan, some are available to ship internationally, and all will be released in Feb 2019.
