Celebration, "Godzilla vs. Kong" public commemoration! "Godzilla (1962)" appears proudly in the UA Monsters series!
About 60 years ago, Godzilla's third movie, "King Kong vs. Godzilla," became a historic hit as a Japan-US monster confrontation after a fierce battle with Kong at the foot of Mt. Fuji and Atami Castle.
Godzilla (1962) that appeared here is nicknamed "King Kong" among fans, and is one of the most popular among Showa Godzilla.
The characteristic expression like a reptile, the massive form and thick and voluminous legs, the rugged dorsal fin and the rough skin, the appearance of the Kingoji costume and the modeling charm are realistically reproduced on a powerful scale of about 30 cm. !!
In addition, the built-in light and sound gimmick unique to the series!
With the switch "ON1" on the pedestal, the milky white dorsal fin normally emits pale white light.
Furthermore, by switching to "ON2", the dorsal fin blinks in small steps in conjunction with the powerful Godzilla roar (twice long), and at the same time, the mouth also blinks and emits light, so you can enjoy the best sense of presence that emits radiant heat rays.

Medicom has announced the Godzilla Vinyl Wars EX Godzilla 1954 Guignol (puppet) Version lottery figure, this is a newly sculpted Anraku Ansaku version. This figure stands 26cm tall, will retail for 16,500 yen, and will be released Oct 2021. Like with previous lottery figures the lottery will run from Aug 24th to Sept 10th on the Medicom website.

Ishiwa Onsen Monster Roundtable Dinner & Talk & Toy Show is taking place August 7th at Kanpo no Yado Ishiwa and as with many events there are event exclusive figures. The figures (Marmit) include Giant Godzilla 1964, Giant Mechagodzilla, Godzilla 1962, Titanosaurus, and King Caesar, all molded in a clear blue glitter vinyl with paint highlights, the giant figures stand 35cm each, the other 24cm, the giant figures retail for 19,800 yen each, the others 8,800 yen each. There does not appear to be an online retail site to purchase these but third parties may have them for sale. The event also includes a talk portion that includes Bin Furuya, Kazumitsu Akamatsu, Akihiko Iguchi, Masahiro Kizawa, and Yakan Nabe.

The Godzilla Store has announced new Godzilla Singular Point merchandise (some of which can also be purchase from other outlets including Hobby Search, AmiAmi, and Diamond (comic book shops)). The items include a mini folding screen, Rodan plush, kaiju backpack, kaiju phone carrying case, Jet Jaguar patch, and long sleeve shirt. The items range in price from 1,320 yen to 8,800 yen, and all have an Oct 2021 release date.

The Art of Godzilla Monster Painter Yuji Kaida Original Painting Exhibition start July 22nd and as with most events there are exclusive figures. US Toys will have figures which are the same sculpts from the Tokusatsu DNA Godzilla event, and the Shinji Nishikawa Original Painting Exhibition but in new colorways, they are all Yu-Esu Pocket Mini Soft Vinyl Bill Box Monster Series including First Godzilla, Kinggoji, Mosgoji, Biogoji, Mechagodzilla, Gigan, Hedorah, Baragon (standing), and Baragon (crawling). All stand between 8.5 and 9cm, and retail for 3,800 yen individually, there is also a set of pottery versions (white blanks) that will sell for 27,000 yen. These may be available on the​  Gallery 21 website but they are extremely limited.

Marusan is releasing three event figures at The Art Of Godzilla event which features art of Yuji Kaida (original paintings will be on display). There are two different Biollante 450 figures with slightly different color schemes and a Mechagodzilla 1974 figure. One Biollante is molded in clear vinyl the other in a glow in the dark vinyl, Mechagodzilla also glows in the dark, both Biollantes are 30cm tall, Mecha is 23cm tall, both Biollantes are 27,500 yen and Mecha is 11,000 yen. These maybe available from the Gallery 21 website here on July 22nd.

The Godzilla Store has announced their​ Limited Movie Monster Series Hedorah Retro Color Version. This figure stands 14cm tall, and 17cm in length, and will retail for 2,750 yen (it is unclear if this is a new or re-issued figure). It can be pre-ordered now from the Godzilla Store (and other resellers) with release scheduled for July 24th 2021.

All volumes are published by Dai Nippon Printing, read from left to right, each volume is 36 pages long and printed on A4 size paper. They are distributed by the Godzilla Store and cover the conceptualization and production aspects of kaiju from Toho's library of films, with each volume focusing on a different character.
These volumes cover Kaiser Ghidorah from Godzilla Final Wars (2004) (Vol.75) and Kumonga from Son of Godzilla (1967), Destroy All Monsters (1968), and Godzilla Final Wars (2004) (Vol.76).

Inspired by the 1964 film ‘Mothra vs. Godzilla’ , the massive moth measures 9” in length from wing to wing. Mothra features a flocked body and an articulated head and wings. The Shobijin Twins feature flocked shoulder capes and come complete with two different head portraits, two sets of interchangeable arms, and can join hands - allowing for a multitude of display options.

Mothra and the Shobijin Twins are packaged in a train case, just like the one seen in the film. Mothra’s display base can attach to the packaging so she can hover over the Shobijin twins.

This version features gold glitter vinyl with with black coloring over it giving it a very cool look, it stands 26cm tall and will retail for 16,500 yen. The lottery will run from July 24th to August 10th on the Medicom website will the figure being released in Oct 2021.
