Sarujirushi will be releasing the Godzilla 1995 Phase 3 Color figure at Treasure Festa Online 5 this weekend. This figure is meant to resemble Godzilla as he begins to meltdown, it stands 26cm tall, and will retail for 25,000 yen. Treasure Festa Online 5 takes place here Dec 11th and 12th.

Bandai is releasing the third set of Godzilla Poster Art Panel Collection, art style print panels that look like canvas artwork. This set includes "King Kong vs. Godzilla" (1962), "Mecha Godzilla's Counterattack" (1975), "King Kong vs. Godzilla Toho Champion Festival Edition" (1977), "Godzilla VS Mechagodzilla" (1993), "Godzilla VS Space Godzilla" (1994), "Godzilla vs. Kong" (2021), "Godzilla vs. Kong Illustration A" (2021), and "Godzilla vs. Kong Illustration B" (2021), each panel measures 24.2cm wide and 33.3cm high, with wooden frame, Tung/Cloth, TC cotton, and retail for 4,950 yen each. They can be pre-ordered now from Bandai with release scheduled for Feb 2022.

Akiba Genso is releasing a number of Godzilla T-shirts and sweat shirts, all have a unique artwork design. Most items come in two colors black and white, with the sweat shirts having front and arm printing, t-shirts front and back printing, all are 100% cotton, come in sizes L to XXL, include a pouch and sticker, and retail for 13,200 yen and 7,150 yen (sweat shirt/t-shirt. They can be ordered on the Akiba Genso website (Japanese shipping only).

X-Plus is releasing the Gigantic Godzilla 1962 Soft Vinyl Kit Marusan Package Image Version, a kit version of the Gigantic 1962 previously released. The packaging for the figure is designed to replicate the Marusan packaging from 1964, this kit will stand 48cm tall and 48cm in length once assembled, it will retail for 18,182 yen on the US Ric site (20,000 yen on the Japanese site). It can be pre-ordered now with release scheduled for May 2022.

Passion Tank is releasing three Shin Godzilla figures at Treasure Festa Online 5. The three figures are Godzilla 2016 4th Form Awakening Version Painted, 4th Form Awakening Version Purple Kit, and 4th Form Normal Version Magenta Kit. The first two are the same sculpt standing 29cm, the normal version stands 28cm, price has not been announced yet for these. Treasure Festa Online 5 is Dec. 11th and 12th online here.

The Godzilla Store is releasing the Godzilla Store Limited Marusan Hedorah Christmas Figure Set, a figure set with a Christmas color theme. The figures are green glitter vinyl with painted highlights, the set includes adult, landing, flying, underwater, and child (tadpole) forms, they are 23cm, 20cm, 16cm, 16cm, and 6cm tall or in length, the set retails for 33,000 yen. It can be pre-ordered from the Godzilla Store with release late Dec 2021.

Bandai is releasing the Godzilla, Godzilla V. Hedorah, and Godzilla Vs. Gigan Acrylic Block Stands. These are thick acrylic that features the movie posters as the background, these are 8.6cm wide, 12.3cm tall, and 2cm deep, and they retail for 3,850 yen. They can be pre-ordered from Bandai here, here, and here, with release scheduled for Jan 2022. More Acrylic Block Stands have been revealed Godzilla Raids Again, Mothra Vs. Godzilla, Ghidorah The Three Headed Monster, Godzilla 1984, Godzilla Vs. Biollante, Godzilla 2000, and Godzilla X Megaguirus, all are same size and price.

X-Plus has announced the Ric and standard versions of the Godzilla The Ride figure, the Godzilla Store version was previously announced. The Godzilla Store version features blue emissions fins, the standard has regular colored fins while the Ric has light up fins, other specs are the same, with the Ric retailing for 33,000 yen (30,000 yen on the US Ric site 31,350 yen for the standard) and it will release June 2022. 

XM Studios has officially announced the Shin Godzilla Bust, pre-orders will start tomorrow, and will retail for approx $1199, and be available from multiple retailers.

XM Studios is excited to present our second Godzilla release: Shin Godzilla Bust! The designs are conceptualized and interpreted by XM Studios, together with acclaimed illustrator and sculptor Tanaka Kenichi, who is the 2D and 3D artist for this first XM release.

Background of Shin Godzilla:
Shin Godzilla appeared in the 2016 Shin Godzilla movie as a mutated ancient sea creature, a result of taking in radioactive material that was abandoned 60 years ago. With the ability to mutate its own DNA, it developed limbs, shrunk its gills, and fully developed its dorsal spines, rapidly became a titular mutant abomination unleashing Heat Ray leaving a trail of destruction, annihilating a large part of Tokyo.

XM’s interpretation of the Shin Godzilla follows the original Japanese film, depicting a more grotesque and frightening appearance as compared to the other incarnations. Each scale, crease, and fold are individually sculpted and hand-painted to create a realistic, sinister Shin Godzilla. The large jagged dorsal plates are detailed with porous bony structure in the centre, the uneven rows of jagged teeth are spotted with some teeth protruding from the skin above its mouth and the red scales that resembles scars add to the ominous appearance of Shin Godzilla.

The base for the bust is kept plain and simple to draw the attention to the intricate details of the bust design. A plaque with the name of the film is embossed on the back of the bust.
