Marusan has announced new Godzilla/Toho figures for Hands Shibuya and a Pop-Up Shop. The Hands Shibuya figures include the Mechagodzilla 1975 Green Clear Molding Version, and the King Ghidorah 1964 Green Clear Molding Version, both are approx 30cm tall, and retail for 17,600 yen, there is also a secret version as well.

​The Pop-Up shop figures, are lottery figures, include Godzilla 1974 450 Classic Blue Painted Version, Mechagodzilla 1975 450 Silver Painted Version, and Marugacha 60mm Toho Monsters 2023 Spring Versions, Godzilla and Mechagodzilla are both 30cm tall and retail for 22,000 yen, the Marugacha are 6cm tall and retail for 1,200 yen. The lottery can be entered on the Marusan Instagram page or by emailing Marusan with the subject "POP-UP Asakusa 5/27" and your name, address, phone number by May 22nd.

The Godzilla Store had another stream and announced new figures as well as some re-releases. One announcement was X-Plus Toho 30cm Series Godzilla 1968 & Minira 1968 Kaiju Total Advance 55th Anniversary Set, this set features the previously released figures together in a set (originally released in 2010), the set retails for 35,200 yen and will release August 2023. Also announced was the Godzilla Store Limited Movie Monster Series Jet Jaguar Retro Color Version, this figure stands 17cm tall, retails for 2,750 yen, and will release mid June 2023. Also officially announced was the Toho 30cm Series Yuji Sakai Modeling Collection Godzilla (2016) 4th Form Awakening Ver. Godzilla Store Limited Edition was posted previously, and there was other X-Plus figures the were announced as second releases. Shown but not available in the Godzilla Store was the Banpresto lottery Godzilla 1995 figures (we posted these here).

Bandai is releasing the SJHUPROJECT Shin Universe Robo Transforming figures, based on the characters of the Shin Japan Heroes Universe. These figures are similar to Transformer Combiners, Voltron, and others, they transform and combine with each other to form a larger robot (9.4 inches tall), the individual figures range in size form approx. 5cm to 16.4cm tall, they include some accessories like Specium beam, AT field, and more, and retail for 23,100 yen for the set. They can be pre-ordered starting May 19th from Bandai with release scheduled for Jan 2024.

X-Plus and the Godzilla Store are releasing the Toho 30cm Series Yuji Sakai Modeling Collection Shin Godzilla 4th Form Awakening Version Godzilla Store Limited Edition. This figure is molded in clear vinyl with a silver coating inside to reflect light, stands 34cm tall (to tail), 32cm deep, and 23cm wide, it is based on a kit by Yuji Sakai, and will retail for 33,000 yen. It will go up for pre-ordered starting May 21st on the Godzilla Store website, with release scheduled for Nov 2023.

Marusan has announced figures for the 6th Creative Sofubi Rally, these include specific figures as well as Lucky Bag figures. Two figures are the King Ghidorah Dark Brown, and the Adult Biollante Shocking Pink, the Lucky Bags are the Toho Monster Lucky Bag 350 Painted Version, the Toho Monster Lucky Bag 350 Unpainted Blank Version, and Margacha Toho Monster Encyclopedia 60mm. The Ghidorah and Biollante are 30cm in size and retail for 24,000 yen each, the Lucky Bags are 23cm in size and are 13,000 yen for painted, 10,000 for the unpainted, and the Margacha are 1,000 yen each. All are available at the  Nakano Sun Plaza 13F Cosmo Room, Tokyo on May 4th 2023.

X-Plus was at Super Festival 85 and as usual they had new figures, just not very many this time. The big news was the announcement of the Favorite Sculptors Line 30cm Godzilla 1974, this was hoped for with the release of the FSL 30cm Mechagodzilla 1974, both are Monster Maker 28 sculpts, the figure is unpainted prototype, no release date or price was given. Besides that figure there were three other reveals, and a number of upcoming releases, there was two new Ultraman figures, Granadas and the Ultra 5000 Alien Bell, both will be released August 2023 and will be 19,800 yen and 5,500 yen respectively. Also shown was another model kit the Jurassic Park T-rex and Ian Malcolm, it is scheduled for a July 2023 release. There was a number of announced releases as well on display as well.

CCP has announced their Super Festival Middle Size event figures, they are Spring Color of the Miregoji, Godzilla '54, Desugoji, Mosugoji, and the Hedorah Spring Color Metallic. The first four are clear colored vinyl with pink and green coloring, the Hedorah is silver with pink/purple and green spray, all are the same size and price of the previous releases. Super Festival is Sunday April 30th in Tokyo.

Marusan has announced their Super Festival 85 exclusives, these include Toho Monster Lucky Bag 350 figures and Margacha Toho Monster Encyclopedia 60mm figures. The Toho Monster Lucky Bag 350 figures are 23cm tall and are 13,000 yen, the Margacha Toho Monster Encyclopedia 60mm figures are approx. 6cm in size and are 1,200 yen. All will be available at Super Festival 85, Sunday April 30th at Science Museum in Tokyo.

Bandai is releasing the S.H. MonsterArts Godzilla 1991 Shinjuku Decisive Battle Version figure. This figure stands 16cm tall, it is designed by Yuji Sakai, and retails for 9,900 yen (tax included), it does not feature any accessories. It will be available for pre-order Apr 26 with release scheduled for Sept 2023. Also being re-released at the same time will be the S. H. MonsterArts Godzilla 1954, all specs should be the same as previously released versions and it will retail for 8,580 yen.
