Titan Comics and Legendary Comics are excited to announce that the Monsterverse expansion continues with RETURN TO SKULL ISLAND, a brand-new comic book series set in Legendary’s Skull Island: The Animated Series universe (currently streaming on Netflix). Issue #1 will debut in comic shops on June 4, 2025, featuring a cover by superstar artist Inhyuk Lee, bringing fans deeper into the world of Kong and the mysteries of Skull Island. The first issue will be solicited in the April edition of Diamond PREVIEWS, and fans can pre-order from their local comic shop and Forbidden Planet for UK & Europe. 
 
Set against a backdrop of giant monsters and deadly intrigue, the comic follows a group of survivors stranded on the perilous island in the South Pacific. As they uncover its dark secrets, they face life-threatening challenges and fight for survival in a land where every creature is a threat—including Kong himself. The series is written by Simon Furman (Transformers) and illustrated by Christopher Jones (Doctor Who: Once Upon a Time Lord).

Now, Bennett and Clover Press are launching a Kickstarter campaign for a stunning hardcover coffee table book which showcases Bennett’s storyboard storytelling and two of the biggest stars in the history of cinema with Godzilla & Kong: The Cinematic Storyboard Art of Richard Bennett. The stunning new book is the result of a licensing deal between Legendary Comics, Toho Co., Ltd., and Clover Press.

Godzilla & Kong: The Cinematic Storyboard Art of Richard Bennett features storyboard art from a selection of the best sequences from Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures’ blockbuster trio of hits Godzilla vs. Kong, Godzilla: King of the Monsters, and Kong: Skull Island, along with some never-before-seen deleted scenes.
