Two New Godzilla Vs. Kong Comic Descriptions & Info Revealed

We knew we were getting Godzilla Vs. Kong prequels comic books now we have descriptions and info on these comics (via Amazon). GvK Godzilla Dominion, and GvK Kingdom Kong come from Legendary Comics, both are 96 pages, will retail for $16.99, and will release March 30, 2021. GvK Godzilla Dominion is written by Greg Keyes, with art by Drew Johnson, GvK Kingdom Kong is written by Marie Anello, with art by ZID (Mohammad Yazid). A unique story that picks up after the events of the film Godzilla: King of the Monsters, where the Titans have risen and the reign of Godzilla has begun. As told entirely from Godzilla’s point of view, the graphic novel brings new insights into the King of Monsters: his habitats, ancient rivalries, challenges, and encounters with new Titans. As his new era of dominance is tested, a coming confrontation with another King looms.

About the Authors
Greg Keyes:  
Greg Keyes was born in Meridian Mississippi on April 11th, 1963. He earned degrees in anthropology, travelled, played strange, violent games, associated with interesting people.  In 1996 his first novel, The Waterborn, was published. Since that time Greg has written over thirty books, including the original series Children of the Changeling, The Age of Unreason, The Kingdoms of Thorn and Bone, and The High and Faraway. He has also had the good fortune to be invited into many shared universes, including Legendary’s  MonsterVerse.
Greg lives, writes, fences and cooks in Savannah, Georgia with his wife Nell, son John and daughter Dorothy.

Drew Johnson:
Drew Edward Johnson has been a professional illustrator for over 20 years, working on comics such as WONDER WOMAN, WONDER WOMAN ‘77, SENSATION COMICS, SUPERGIRL, THE AUTHORITY, BATMAN: LEGENDS OF THE DARK KNIGHT, SPIDER-MAN, FANTASTIC 4, GI JOE, STAR WARS,  TOMB RAIDER, & many more.
Drew’s contributions to Legendary Comics’ Monsterverse include illustrating GODZILLA: AFTERSHOCK, the official graphic novel prequel to GODZILLA: KING OF THE MONSTERS and Cover art on the final issue of the KONG: SKULL ISLAND series. He is currently at work illustrating a new GODZILLA graphic novel, and is enjoying spending time with The King again.

A sequel to the graphic novel Skull Island: Birth of Kong and a prelude to the film Godzilla vs. Kong, the upcoming Kong prequel graphic novel, will follow a group of highly skilled military pilots gathered together on Skull Island to see who has ‘the right stuff’ to take on a dangerous mission into the hollow earth. One of the pilots, Audrey, is haunted by the memories of a monstrous clash with one of Godzilla’s titanic rivals that left deep scars. When Skull Island is attacked by Camazotz, a bat-like Titan, Audrey must to come to terms with her inner demons, and finding his home newly threatened, Kong must rise to face this usurper that would plunge the world into perpetual night. Nominated at #8 in 10 Comic Book Creators To Watch in 2013 on Newsarama.com (www.newsarama.com/15655-10-to-watch-in-2013-comic-book-creators.html#s4) for his maiden project with Robert Napton, his career with Legendary Comics began with Trick ‘r Treat: Monster Mash late 2015. This work relationship continues with the digital graphic novel prequel to the Netflix movie Spectral: Ghosts of War in 2016, and his biggest responsibility yet, Skull Island: The Birth of Kong in 2017.
After a change of terrain with Lost in Space: Countdown to Danger, he is returning to Skull Island.
