From the “ULTRAMAN” Season 2 anime, ULTRAMAN SUIT TARO is now available as a 1/6th scale articulated figure! Kotaro Higashi, a young journalist with strong sense of justice, has suddenly acquired a unique ability due to a mysterious incident, and happens to obtain a new ULTRAMAN SUIT still in development. Under the name of TARO, he enters battle against aliens attacking earth.

FigZero 1/6 ULTRAMAN SUIT TARO (Anime Version) stands approximately 31cm (~12.2”) tall, and is a fully-articulated figure with over 52 points of articulation. The collectible has a detailed paint application and decals, and is constructed partially of die-cast zinc alloy and other metal parts. LED light-up features are installed at the eyes and the Color Timer on the chest.

TARO’s iconic blazing fire effects come in multiple forms for this collectible: 1 pair for chest, 1 pair for upper back, 1 pair for lower back, 1 pair for fists, and 1 piece in shooting form. Other accessories include the Ultra Badge which Kotaro uses in transforming into ULTRMAN SUIT TARO form, and multiple interchangeable hands: 1 pair of fists, 1 pair of knife-hands, 1 pair of fire shooting hands, and 1 right hand for holding the Ultra Badge.

Bandai/Tamashii is releasing the S.H.Figuarts Ultraman Suit Taro The Animation figure. This figure stands 17cm tall, it features replacement hands and color timer, burning effect part, Ultra Badge, and Ultra Slash effect for Ultraman (Anime), it will retail for 7,150 yen. It can be pre-ordered starting April 15th from Bandai, with release scheduled for Sept 2022.

Electric Toys is releasing the Ultraman Edited Fake Ultraman Set, that includes a figure and t-shirt. The figure is designed by Mr. ANI of Scha Dara Parr, is stylize, stands 21cm tall, the t-shirt feature front and back designs and is available is three size choices M, L, and XL, the set retails for 13,200 yen. It can be pre-ordered from the Electric Toys Rakuten shop with release scheduled for Sept 2022.

Kaiyodo is releasing the Capsule Q Characters Shin Ultraman figures, small but very detailed figures. These assortment includes Gabora (open head), Ultraman and Gabora (closed head), and Neronga, they are approx. 6cm in size, and will retail for 500 yen each from capsule machines, but can also be purchase from retailers as well. They will be available May 2022.

Bandai/Tamashii is releasing new Tamashii Box figures the first which are Ultraman related. These figures are deformed style and with the Ultraman ones create a 3D effect of Ultraman coming at the camera as seen in Ultraman series. These figures are 8cm in size, there are 9 types (8 plus a mystery figure), retail for 1,100 yen each, feature clear parts, and will be released Oct 2022. These will be available for pre-ordered from general retailers starting April 5th.

Bandai is releasing the Ultimate Luminous Tsuburaya Monster Expo 2 Set. This set includes non Ultraman related items as well as buildings and structures (previously released). The figures include Peguila and Birdon, as well as Redman and Andro Melos, each figure is 500 yen and they are scheduled for release last week of March from Gashapon machines.

Bandai is releasing the Converge Motion 2 candy figure set, their Converge figures in motion poses. There are 8 different figures including, Ultraman Trigger Multi Type, Ultraseven, Tiga Dark, Ultraman Geed Primitive, Trigger Dark, King Joe, Ultraman Belial, and a secret figure, they stand approx. 5.5cm, and retails for 550 yen each. They will be available starting Monday at shops in Japan.
