Our #1 selling Pacific Rim toy line continues with Series 5, featuring two new Jaeger action figures! Each 7″ scale figure features over 20 points of articulation and incredible detail.
Anchorage Attack Gipsy Danger features battle damage from its fight with Knifehead at the beginning of the movie, and uses new, unique tooling not seen on any previous Gipsy Danger release. It comes with an interchangeable right forearm that lets you switch between plasma gun and normal hand. The highly requested Romeo Blue is a Mark-1 American Jaeger and one of the early heroes of the war against the Kaiju. Highlights of its battles appear in newsreels during the prologue to Pacific Rim. Both Jaeger figures were created from the actual digital files utilized by ILM in the creation of the film. Below is a pic of the two figures in package as well as the package back showing the next wave of Achorage Attack Gipsy Danger and Romeo Blue figures.
Here is the NECA Pacific Rim display that features full painted Jaegers for series 4 & 5 as well as the Deluxe Otachi figure. Also on display was the Cherno Alpha 18″ figure. Pics are courtesy of Toyark. Our coverage will begin tomorrow.
Deluxe kaiju action figure is the hotly anticipated, fan-demanded Otachi.
One of the most deadly Category IV kaiju, Otachi is capable of flight, and can spit an acid corrosive enough to melt everything from office buildings to the armor of a Jaeger! This massive, extra-detailed figure measures nearly 18" long and almost 7" tall, and is to scale with our Jaeger action figures. It features over 30 points of articulation, including a fully articulated tail, plus an interchangeable tongue that can be removed to equip a sculpted "acid spitting" effect. Window Box Packaging A new version of Knifehead will be hitting in October it's a repaint of the battle damage version to be a "clean" version. Which means the original Knifehead from series one can be forgotten so to speak for his size issues. Picture Below.
Series 4 7" figures are due out in Nov, at this point we are not sure what is the major difference between this version and the previous versions of Gipsy Danger other then the boat accessory.
