Star Ace has announced the Minaton 50cm Polyresin Statue, the statue will come in three versions, Deluxe, Special, and Normal. The deluxe and special include unique extras, and those extras can be purchased separately. Check out the details below.

Star Ace Minaton 50cm Polyresin Statue
The servant of an evil sorceress, the Minaton is a great bronze automaton that exists only to serve the will of its master.  Powered by a clockwork heart, this large metal Minotaur has the strength of many men and towers over normal humans.  
Created by stop-motion genius Ray Harryhausen, this detailed replica of the animation puppet is 50cm (20”) tall and carries his huge spear held in his right hand.

Traditionally sculpted by the artisans of the famed creature shop of Kaibutsuya, this detailed Minaton statue is made from polyresin and stands 50cm tall (60cm with display base). Each piece is hand-painted to look like it has a Bronze finish. 

The Special version of this statue includes the statue and a framed 12cm replica of the Minaton as a companion piece.

The Deluxe version of the statue includes a 1:1 scale prop replica of the Minaton heart with battery operated lights and moving parts.

Star Ace/X-Plus is releasing the 1/35 Scale Series Cyclops Plastic Model Kit. This unassembled, unpainted kit stands 23cm once completed, it features the Cyclops with club, cage with prisoner, base with name plate, and it retails for $75. It can be pre-ordered from Star Ace and other retailers with release scheduled for Sept 2022.

Stop motion master, Ray Harryhausen, pitted the noble heroes against animated skeletons in several of his movies. Ray’s skeletons provide a creepy, and sometimes funny villain that makes for a great action scene.

Star Ace has re-created Harryhausen’s skeletons, known as “Children of the Hydra’s teeth”, as a 1/6 scale polyresin statue, armed with sword and shield, ready to take on any hero. 42CM POLYRESIN STATUE (PRE-HISTORIC CREATURES)

Star Ace’s “Wonders of the Wild” series brings collectors the Dunkleosteus, the largest fish of the Devonian period. Living 382-358 million years ago, this fish was armored and without teeth, just a jaw of armored plates forming a blade that could cut through anything with more jaw force than any other creature of the time. Growing to almost 9 meters long and over 3.6 tonnes, the Dunkleosteus was an alpha predator, fearing nothing except other Dunkleosteus.

The sculptor has re-created this amazing ancient creature from fossils of the skull and jaws and referencing similar placoderms. This formidable fish is depicted with its jaw wide, ready to bite down on its prey. This polyresin statue has been hand painted by the artisans at Kaibutsuya and is 42 cm long. It is mounted to an environment base with a name plate identifying the scientific name and habitat.

The Deluxe set includes a sculpted replica of the Dunkleosteus fossil as it was found by paleontologists. The fossil replica is also available separately.

"X Plus' Maschinenmensch Plastic Model Kit: Mediating its way from your hands to your heart! Fritz Lang’s 1927 phenomenon, “Metropolis” returns in this intricately faithful reproduction of famed creative mind Walter Schulze Mittendorf’s Machine Man “Maria”. The “Maschinenmensch”, the fictional robot from Fritz Lang’s silent film Metropolis, was originally played by German actress Brigitte Helm, both as the titular robot “gynoid” and its human form. In the movie, the robot was created by the scientist Rotwang as an approximation of his former lover, Hel. Maschinenmensch was one of the first, and perhaps most iconic fictional robots ever depicted in cinema, and went on to be one of the primary influences of robotic design in both feature film, television and technology. The ⅛ scale model features Maria in her/its most iconic pose, as it stands with an air of awe and deepest fascination for Rotwang’s greatest creation. The model design itself has been inspired by the original iconic movie poster, along with the chair that MachineMan Maria stands up from, that acts as an appropriately thematic base for the model. As an added detail, avid fans of the classic silent film will appreciate the flavor text found at the back of the throne as well as "HEL" embossed in the iconic Metropolis typeface; a reminder of the original form of Rotwang's obsession.

About this statue.
Ray Harryhausen was frequently called on to re-create creatures from ancient mythology. Pegasus was a creation of the gods, a horse with the ability to fly with large eagle-like wings.

Sideshow and Star Ace are proud to present the Pegasus (Deluxe Version) Statue, which has been brought to life in a sixth scale polyresin format with detachable wings. Posed as if striding through the air, Pegasus is sculpted by the renowned artisans at Kaibutsuya, each piece meticulously hand-painted.

The Pegasus (Deluxe Version) Statue also comes with a sixth scale version of Bubo with extended wings, a light-up Medusa head, and tack and saddle that can be attached after removing the wings.

X-Plus has announced the Vampirella 1/8 Plastic Model Kit Phosphorescent Version, a glow in the dark version of their Vampirella kit they released previously. The kit stands 23cm tall once assembled Vampirella and the bats are glow in the dark the tombstone base is not, but retailers that order 12 or more will get a exclusive base (GID), this kit retails for 4,399 yen. It is scheduled for release from retailers in April 2022 (not available from X-Plus).

A blast from the past, Space Cyclops has returned, this figure was released many years ago and has become the X-Plus mascot. Now X-Plus is releasing three colors of the Space Cyclops, Pinky, Jungle, and Deep Sea (pink, lime green, and light blue), all stand 21cm tall, have moveable shoulders, and waist, and retail for 6,600 yen (6,000 yen on the US site). They can be pre-ordered now from X-Plus both Japanese and US sites with release scheduled for Dec2021/Jan 2022 (of note it is available on the US site as of this posting but shows sold out on the Japanese site).
