THE 32CM TALL CERATOSAURUS (ONE MILLION YEARS B.C.) POLYRESIN STATUE
From ONE MILLION YEARS B.C., 1966
The classic fantasy film One Million Years BC featured dinosaurs and other creatures brought to life by the stop-motion genius of Ray Harryhausen. Star Ace’s next release from this film is the menacing Ceratosaurus, known for battling a Triceratops that had been chasing our heroes, the caveman and the cavegirl. As the cavepeople fearfully watch hidden in the nearby rock formation, the two huge dinosaurs fought to the death. This Ceratosaurus is a 30 cm tall Polyresin statue sculpted to match the original Harryhausen stop-motion model exactly. It features a detailed, hand-painted color scheme, and comes with the rocky outcropping display base. The set includes scaled figures of the caveman and the cavegirl that can be positioned in a variety of ways. The Ceratosaurus is in scale with the Star Ace Triceratops and can be displayed together to recreate the scene from the movie (each sold separately). Created in partnership with the Ray and Diana Harryhausen Foundation and the 20th Century Fox.

Star Ace/X-Plus has announced the Ray Harryhausen DefoReal Cyclops figure which was revealed earlier this year as part of the ever growing Ray Harryhausen 100 line of figures. This figure stands 15cm tall, there are two versions the deluxe with the figure holding a club, and standard without it, The deluxe retails for 8,470 yen (7,700 yen on the US X-Plus site, the standards price is the same 8.470 yen). It can be pre-ordered now from X-Plus (deluxe) and other retailers (standard) with release scheduled for May 2021. Updated with standard pics.

On a base imitating marble, after all Iron Studios spared no expense, with the film’s logo adorning the front, the fossils fallen at the feet of the figures, with Lex and Tim Murphy protected by Ellie Sattler and Alan Grant from two Velociraptors and the imposing T-Rex circling ready to capture the Velociraptor that is about to jump on Alan, Iron Studios presents it’s statue “The Final Scene – Demi Art Scale 1/20 – Jurassic Park – Iron Studios”.
After the collapse of the first park on Nublar Island, some of the most dangerous predatory species escape from their cages, including mortal Velociraptors. Seeking refuge and protection in the control room at the visitor center, doctors Alan Grant and Ellie Sattler, along with the children Lex and Tim Murphy, grandchildren of John Hammond, the park’s creator, are chased by raptors. The four protagonists run out of the control room and reach the main lobby, and they find themselves trapped when one of the predators advances to strike, jumping on their prey, is unusually captured in the jaws of a T-Rex, which invades the space in search of his hunting. Thus, the giant tyrant king of the dinosaurs, involuntarily becomes the savior of the group, when confronting and being confronted by the Velociraptors, giving the scientists and the children a chance to escape.
This unforgettable and striking sequence from the movie Jurassic Park, created by the master Steven Spielberg, once again comes to life at the hands of Iron Studios, which replicates the final scene of this 1993 Universal Studios superproduction. Yu-Gi-Oh! is a manga series that lead to an anime series, a trading card game, numerous video games, and more, while it is usually aimed a a younger crowd this figure makes it clear serious adult collectors can get into it too. This vinyl figure has incredible detail, stands 32.5cm tall (nearly 13 inches), it features wings that are semi-transparent and vary from black to red based on lighting, it retails for 18,700 yen.
