Dream Planet is releasing the First Godzilla Storyboard Version Garage Kit, this kit includes both a full figure and large scale bust. The kit once assembled will stand 28cm tall for the figure, and 16cm for the bust, it is designed/sculpted by Kenichi Matsumoto (Tentsuku Kogei), and retails for 30,000 yen. It can be pre-ordered now (Japan only) with release scheduled for mid Oct 2023.

Bandai is releasing the S.H. MonsterArts Space Godzilla Fukuoka Battle Version figure, a new version of this figure. This figure is 16.5cm tall, it features fins that are designed to mimic him charging up, it also includes energy effects for his crystals, and damaged crystals, and it will retail for 16,500 yen. It will be available for pre-order from Bandai starting Sept 15th with release scheduled for March 2024.

Marusan has another Pop-Up Shop happening with the Pop-Up Kaijyu Salon Shop In Asakusa at the Asakusa Smile Bar, and is releasing more lottery figures. They are releasing the King Ghidorah Red Glitter, 1974 Godzilla 450 Light Blue, Jet Jaguar 450 Clear, and Toho Monster 350 lucky bags (including Titanosaurus, Megalon, and Varan), they are all 30cm tall except the lucky bag figures that are 23cm tall, and retail for 27,500 yen for Ghidorah, 22,000 yen for Godzilla, 24,200 yen for Jet Jaguar, and 14,300 yen for the lucky bags. The lottery can be entered on the Marusan Instagram page or by emailing Marusan with the subject "POP-UP Asakusa 9/9" and your name, address, phone number by September 4th.

​Bandai is releasing the Gashapon Godzilla Heisei Poster Acrylic Stand Collection that includes all seven film posters. These are approx. 6cm tall, and will retail for 300 yen each from Gashapon machines, they will be available the third week of Sept 2023.

X-Plus is releasing the Hedorah Crawling Landing Version figure, this Ric exclusive figure uses the same sculpt as the Soft Series figure released in 2018. It stands 15cm tall and is 38cm in length, and it retails for 17,600 yen (16,000 yen on the US Ric site). It can be pre-ordered now from X-Plus with release scheduled for Nov 2023.

The Godzilla Store has announced a new exclusive kit and new Movie Monster Series figures as well. The kit is the Godzilla Store Limited Godzilla 2001 Garage Kit by Kokuryu Koubou, it stands 21cm tall once complete, is 28 parts, and will retail for 24,200 yen. The Movie Monster Series figures are Godzilla 1975, Titanosaurus, and Battle Damaged Color Mechagodzilla 1975 (this one is a re-release), they are 17cm, 19cm, 17cm tall respectively, and retail for 3,300 yen, 4,400 yen, and 3,300 yen respectively. All can be pre-ordered now (with the Buyee option) with release for the kit scheduled for Oct 2023, and the MMS figures Sept 2023. It is unclear if these may get releases in the new US Godzilla Store.

Hands Shibuya is having the Marble Wonder Fair and is featuring Marusan Clear Green version figures. The figures are Godzilla 1974 Green Clear Version, Godzilla 1989 Green Clear Version, and Rose Biollante Green Clear Version, the Rose Biollante glows like neon under black light, all are 30cm tall (450 size), and they retail for 27,500 yen each. Hands Shibuya is in Tokyo and all figures are limited.

X-Plus is releasing the Super Toho 30cm Series Godzilla 1999 figure, a vinyl figure based on 3D scans of the suit from the film. The "Godzilla 2000 Millennium" suit, which this is based, was restored for exhibition under the supervision of Shinichi Wakasa, with coloring that has been reproduced by Mr. Shigemasa Yoshida, who colored the actual suit. The figure stands 30cm tall and is 43cm in length, and it will retail for 33,000 yen. It will go up for pre-order on Aug 27 2023 with release scheduled for Dec 2023.

DeAgostini has announced their food and collectibles Godzilla New Year 2024 set, an item they have been offering for a number of years. This years set celebrates Godzilla's 70th Anniversary, besides a selection of food items, there is a collectible 70th Anniversary wood box that the food comes in, Godzilla Legend New Year's card set, Godzilla 70-year history poster, Godzilla New Year's special trading card, a deluxe set adds a Cast resin figure of Godzilla 1954 that stands 11.2cm tall. The sets retail for 31,800 yen and 38,800 yen for the regular and deluxe respectively, two dates for delivery are also available (Dec 30th, and Jan 2nd), the pre-order deadline is Oct 30th. These are limited to 300 each, and are only available in Japan.

Hands Shibuya has announced their Summer Wonder Fair featuring a number of Marusan Godzilla/Toho figures. There will be Sparkle Glitter versions of Godzilla 1974 and 1989, both are 30cm tall, and will retail for 27,500 each. Also available will be a number of 350 versions of Godzilla 1995, 1968, Rodan, Megalon, and Mechagodzilla all are approx. 23cm tall and will retail for 16,500 yen or 13,200 yen. Some of these are similar to the Pop Up Shop lottery figures we posted yesterday including glitter versions and neon clear ​fluorescent figures. Hands Shibuya is in Tokyo.
