Bandai/Tamashii is releasing the S.H. MonsterArts Godzilla 1972 figure, from Earth Attack Order Godzilla vs. Gigan. This figure stands 16cm tall, is a Yuij Sakai sculpt, features a extra damage (bloody) head, and it will retail for 11,000 yen (tax included). It can be pre-ordered starting Oct 2nd from multiple retailers with release scheduled for Feb 2024.

Bandai is releasing the Ultimate Toho Monster Godzilla 1974, it looks to be a more detailed figure than something like the Movie Monster Series. This figure stands 13.8cm tall and will retail for 7,000 yen, of note with this figure you can replace the jaw with the one from the Gashapon busts (pictured at bottom) announced previously to create an open mouth version. It can be pre-ordered now from Bandai with release scheduled for Dec 2023.

Bandai is releasing the Gashapon HG Toho Kaiju figures, this set includes Godzilla 2023 (Minus One), Gaira, Sanda, and Gigan 1972. These figures are approx. 8.0cm,  8.2cm, 8.8cm, and 9.0cm tall respectively, and they are 500 yen each and can be purchased from Bandai (Japan only, release Dec 2023 - Jan 2024) and will be available from Gashapon machines before the release date. 

Bandai is releasing the S.H. MonsterArts Space Godzilla Fukuoka Battle Version figure, a new version of this figure. This figure is 16.5cm tall, it features fins that are designed to mimic him charging up, it also includes energy effects for his crystals, and damaged crystals, and it will retail for 16,500 yen. It will be available for pre-order from Bandai starting Sept 15th with release scheduled for March 2024.

​Bandai is releasing the Gashapon Godzilla Heisei Poster Acrylic Stand Collection that includes all seven film posters. These are approx. 6cm tall, and will retail for 300 yen each from Gashapon machines, they will be available the third week of Sept 2023.

The Godzilla Store has announced a new exclusive kit and new Movie Monster Series figures as well. The kit is the Godzilla Store Limited Godzilla 2001 Garage Kit by Kokuryu Koubou, it stands 21cm tall once complete, is 28 parts, and will retail for 24,200 yen. The Movie Monster Series figures are Godzilla 1975, Titanosaurus, and Battle Damaged Color Mechagodzilla 1975 (this one is a re-release), they are 17cm, 19cm, 17cm tall respectively, and retail for 3,300 yen, 4,400 yen, and 3,300 yen respectively. All can be pre-ordered now (with the Buyee option) with release for the kit scheduled for Oct 2023, and the MMS figures Sept 2023. It is unclear if these may get releases in the new US Godzilla Store.

Bandai is releasing the Shin Japan Heroes Universe Poppy Gom Gashapon, small rubber items based on the Shin Japan Heroes Universe. There are four colors, the main character is in a different color from each other along with a logo. These are in Gashapon machines now, retailing for 500 yen each.

Bandai is releasing the Fantazzzy TOYS Gigan Soft Vinyl Jungle Green Version figure, a sofubi styled figure. This figure stands 18cm tall, and will retail for 14,080 yen, it can be pre-ordered July 26th on the Bandai website with release scheduled for later this year.

X-Plus Toho 30cm Series Yuji Sakai Modeling Collection Godzilla 1954 King of Monsters Godzilla Soft Vinyl Assembly Kit Godzilla Store Limited Edition - Based on the figure sold in 2017, it includes solid and clear parts, and will retail for 12,000 yen.

Godzilla Store Limited Movie Monster Series Hedorah 2023 Summer Version- This figure is 15cm tall and will retail for 2,970 yen.

Marusan Godzilla Toho 450 Godzilla Store Limited Figures- All are approx. 30cm tall and will retail for 27,500 yen.

Marusan Godzilla Toho 350 Godzilla Store Limited Figures- All are approx. 22/23cm tall and will retail for 16,500 yen.

All are available for pre-order with release the end of the month.

Also available is the first 8 DeAgostini Toho Kaiju Collection issues, they will retail for the same price as the DeAgostini website, these will be available every other week starting August 12th.

With the new Godzilla Minus One movie announcement we now have a number of new merchandise announced. Bandai has announced new Movie Monster Series (approx. 6 inches) and King Monster Series (approx. 10 inches) figures (besides our previously posted S.H. MonsterArts figure), also announced are a t-shirt, two acrylic key chain/standee, large acrylic standee, lanyard, and sticker set, the figures are approx. 3,500 yen and 7,000 yen respectively, the other items range from 550 yen to 3,300 yen. Most should be available from multiple retail outlets.
