Bandai is releasing the Movie Monster Series Koukou Burning Godzilla Figure, a light up figure. This figure is 16cm tall, and 25cm in length (head to tail), it features 2 Led units, and retails for 5,500 yen. It can be pre-ordered from Bandai with release scheduled for March 2025. (It maybe released from other retailers as well.)

A number of Super Festival 89 releases have been announced from Marusan, Fewture Models, and Enka Vinyl, check them out below. All will be available at Super Festival 89, Sunday, September 29, 2024 in Tokyo.

Marusan is releasing the 70th Anniversary Classic Blue Collection of Godzilla 350 figures, they are Godzilla J-tail, 1954 Godzilla, 1999 Godzilla, and Shin Godzilla, they are all 23cm tall, and will retail for 16,500 yen except Shin which is 22,000 yen. Also available will be Finger Puppet Series Maru-Puppet, and Marugacha 60mm Toho Kaiju Encyclopedia, the puppets are approx. 10cm, and retail for 4,400 yen, the Marugacha are 1,200 yen.

Fewture Models figures are part of the Umezu Kazuo Ultraman Soft Vinyl Series, Guigass, Jirahs, and Akien Zarab, all retro color with a unique look, they are 24cm, 28cm, and 24cm tall respectively, and 9,900, 13,200, and 9,900 yen respectively.

Enka Vinyl's figures are Cutie Honey, Getter Dragon, Godzilla Parade Godzilla 1954, all are blue luminous blank body type, they are approx 23.5cm tall, and retail for 8,000 yen each. Of note there are painted versions of some on the Enka Vinyl website (the Godzilla is at bottom).

Bandai is releasing the High Grade (HG) Godzilla Vs. Mothra figures, which we posted on our Facebook page now we have more info and new pics. The figures include Mothra '92, Battra, Godzilla '99, and Baby Godzilla, they are 12.5cm, 12cm, 7.5cm, and 7cm in size (wingspan for Mothra/Battra, height for Godzilla/Baby), Mothra and Battra have supports included. They will be 500 yen, and available in Jan 2025 from retailer pre-orders as well as Gashapon machines. 

CCP is releasing the Middle Size Series Godzilla EX Volume 5 figures. This series includes Middle Size Series Godzilla EX Vol. 5 Godzilla 2001 Godzilla Blue Version A, Middle Size Series Godzilla EX Vol. 5 Godzilla 2001 Retro Red Clear Version, Middle Size Series Godzilla EX Vol. 5 Mechagodzilla 2002 Standard Version, Middle Size Series Godzilla EX Vol. 5 Mechagodzilla 2002 Clear Blue Version, Middle Size Series Godzilla EX Vol. 5 Mechagodzilla 1974 Clear Green Version, Middle Size Series Godzilla EX Vol. 4 Chimney Hedorah Ceramic Version. These figure stand approx. 12/13cm tall and will retail for approx. 4,400 yen, they will be available for pre-ordered from multiple retailers with release scheduled for Nov 2024.

Tanaka Studio has announced the Ghidorah 1991 20 Line Resin Garage Kit, based on the Spiral Studio figure but scale down to 20cm scale This unassembled, unpainted kit is approx. 29.5cm tall, 36.5 to the top of the wings (38cm with base), is molding in ivory resin as well as having 3D printed parts with the base included, is 24 parts (13 cast resin, 11 3D print), and retails for 60,500 yen. It can be purchased from the Tanaka Studio website with shipping in late Oct 2024.

Megahouse is releasing the Godzilla -1.0 From 0 to -1 Petitrama EX Statue Set Of 3 figures, which we posted on our Facebook page. This set features the evolution of Godzilla from Godzilla -1.0, each has a base are approx. 3.5 inches in size, and will retail for approx. $75 US. They can be pre-ordered from BBTS, Entertainment Earth, and other retailers, with release scheduled for April 2025. AmiAmi and Bandai Premium have a bonus version the includes an extra figure of Godzilla Minus One (without a base), picture at the bottom, it is 9,350 yen for that set.

Marusan has three figures available at the next Pop-Up Shop in Asakusa, Godzilla 1999 350 Golden Yellow Clear Version, Godzilla 1968 350 Golden Yellow Clear Version, Ghidorah 1968 350 Golden Yellow Clear Version, there are also more of the Marugacha 60mm Monster Encyclopedia figures available as well, the Godzillas is 23cm tall, Ghidorah is 30cm tall, the Godzillas retail for 15,000 yen Ghidorah is 25,000 yen, and the Marugacha are 1,200 yen each, the lottery deadline Sept 9th. The lottery can be entered via the Marusan Instagram page or by emailing your name, address, and phone number to Marusan with the subject line "POP-UP Asakusa 9/14". 

Marusan has announced more figures for the Showa Soft Vinyl: Marusan/Bullmark Festival 2024 Summer, Antlar 450 Showa Sky Blue Image Version, and Kanegon 450 Reiwa Version, both are 30cm tall, and retail for 27,500 yen each. They are both available from the festival at the ​Hands Shibuya store in Tokyo.

Ninki Brewery is releasing the Popular Daiginjo Vs. Mechagodzilla Sake, it comes in a custom bottle featuring the Fake Godzilla skin effect to celebrate the films 50th Anniversary (and Godzilla's 70th). It is limited to 1000 bottles, is 720ml, has 17% alcohol content, and retails for 7,150 yen. It can be ordered now from Ninki Brewery (Japan only)with release in order sequence afterwards.
