ZO Models has officially announced their Kaiju Imagination Series Gamera 2 model kit. This unpainted, unassembled kit is made of resin (ivory in color), features two different posed heads, is 42 pieces, is 28cm tall once assembled, and retails for 88,000 yen. It is available for pre-ordered on the ZO Models website now, with release at a later date (we will update once that date is announced).

Megahouse is releasing the UA Monsters Gamera Rebirth figure, a limited figure from select retailers. This figure stands 30cm tall, 42cm deep, and 32cm wide, it features lights and sound (video below), a battery base, and retails for approx. 40,000 yen (depending on retailer). It can be pre-ordered now from AmiAmi and other select retailers, with release scheduled for March 2024.

X-Plus is releasing the DefoReal Iris figure, this figure stands 17cm tall with the Ric featuring a light up in the body and head, it will retail for 13,750 yen for the Ric (12,500 yen on the US site) and 12,650 yen for the standard. It can be pre-ordered now from X-Plus (Ric) and other retailers (standard) with release scheduled for Feb 2024.

X-Plus has announced the DefoReal Trauma Gamera figure which was revealed a bit back. This figure is 12cm tall, the Ric version features a wounded Gyaos that stands 5cm tall, the figure will retail for for 9,900 yen for the Ric (9,000 yen on the US site) and 8,800 yen for the standard version. It can be pre-ordered from X-Plus and other retailers with release scheduled for Jan 2024.

Bandai is releasing the Movie Monster Series Gamera '65, Gyaos '67 and Battra. All are 3,300 yen (on Amazon Japan), Gamera is 15cm tall, Gyaos is 16cm tall, and Battra is 20cm in length, they are all scheduled for release end of July 2023. These figures will also be available at various US retailers.

CCP is releasing the Artistic Monsters Collection Gamera 2 1996 Kasumi Decisive Battle Version figure at Monster World Festival. This figure is the same sculpt as the previously released version but with an updated paint scheme that uses a multi layer paint app (see pics below), the figure is 20cm tall, and will retail for 18,700 yen. Monster World Festival 7 is in Asakusa on May 28, 2023 (Sunday).

​Medicom is releasing the Anraku Ansaku Gamera Kyoto Final Battle Version Lottery Figure. This figure features a burning fist, damaged fist, and battle damage, stands 26cm tall, and will retail for 16,500 yen. You can enter the lottery from May 24th to June 10th on the Medicom website, with the figure scheduled to ship in Oct 2023.

Bandai announced the Gamera Rebirth Movie Monster Series figures at Anime Japan now we have official pics and info. Three figures are available in the first wave Gamera, Gyaos, and Jiger, Gamera is 16cm tall, Gyaos is 30cm in length, and Jiger is 29cm in length, Gamera is 3,300 yen, both Gyaos and Jiger are 3,080 yen. All are available for pre-ordered on Amazon Japan, with release scheduled for April for Gamera, and June for the other two. US release should be available soon from most major US retailers.

First revealed at Anime Japan we now have official info and pics from Bandai/Tamashii for the S.H. MonsterArts Gamera Rebirth 2023 figure. This figure stands 15cm tall (almost 6 inches), it comes with flight parts and flight stand, and retails for 12,500 yen (13,750 yen tax included), and it will release August 2023. It can be pre-ordered starting Apr 6th from multiple retailers.

CCP is releasing the Phantom Ultimate Modeling Series CCP x Kokuryu Koubou Gamera 1999 Head Model (Bust). The bust comes in both kit form as well as finished bust, it is suit accurate size of 45cm tall,  45cm in length, and 30cm in wide (scale to approx. 170cm full body height), it looks to be wall mountable or have a display stand (we are looking to verify that). The kit will retail for 88,000 yen (tax included) with early bird pricing of 77,000 yen, the finished bust will be 132,000 yen with early bird pricing of 121,000 yen. It will go on sale March 9th 2023 on the CCP website, no release date has been listed but expect it later this year.
